Since 1980, the Alpinist-417 portable radio receiver has been produced by the Voronezh Radio Plant. Portable transistor radios "Alpinist-417" and "Alpinist-418" are identical in electrical circuit and design, and differ only in the different design of the loudspeaker grille, as well as the presence of a built-in power supply from the electrical network in the described "417" model. Receivers work in the LW and MW bands. Powered by six 343 cells or two 3336L batteries and mains power in the "417" model. The nominal output power of the amplifier is 0.4 W.
