Fantastic video! We hope you are enjoying your time with the A32NX :)
Very much so! You guys are the heros, thanks for all you continue to do!
Will the A32NX be on xbox please answer
@@jorldan5440 I don’t think at launch, but it’s already in the PC market place, so it could be.
@@TheFlightSimDeck hey do you know if we have to purchase liverys because im pretty sure we wont be able to download it on xbox
@@jorldan5440 I don’t foresee them charging. Everything will have to be done through the marketplace at first including free products. I hope there will be some way to start integrating the massive freeware sharing that we see on flightsim.to. These are things that will be in high demand.
I have to say this is one of the best FlybyWire tutorials on CZcams! The tempo is beautifully set with additional information.
For a beginner like me it’s a massive thumbs up!
There is one thing id like to know. A Simbrief tutorial to show where we can get our information to input into the FlybyWire A32NX MCDU, including flex temp and other in-depth calculations. Would be great.
Keep up the awesome content and this is a definitely a SUBSCRIBE.😊
This is easily the best made tutorial for MSFS 2020! And I have seen *A LOT*! No blabla - no lenghty deviations - up to the point, clear language, good speed. Thank you very much for this tutorial!! It literally enables me to fly that bird!
Great Job!!!
Fantastic guide. As a total noob going into FS2020 I was flying the GA planes until now, finally brave enough to try big ones. :) I have watched few FBW A32NX guides, but all of them confused me after while. This one is just perfect. You kept it as simple as it gets, straightforward but just enough informative, without being overwhelming. Excellent job, thank you very much.
I don't often comment on videos , but when it do...
This was an amazing, beautifully done video !!! All you need to know to have fun with A320 in MSFS without unnecessary commentary.
Thank You !!!
WOW!! There are a gazillion FS/A320 videos but this one is the best. This one covers everything, answered a lot of my questions and is pretty easy to follow. Well done!!!
Thank you davefr, I'm happy this helped you!
Thank you for this. This was the single most comprehensive video on his plane. I loved how you empathized the actions with the circles and that therw as no extra babble. Very straight to the point ! Awesome delivery.
Will you do something that explain how to set up fiel from the Sim Brief flight plan please !
What a fantastic video! This showed that I'm 90% there with what I know already and I learned the rest watching this.
Thank you for showing both types of landing.
Great stuff! If I wasn't already subbed I'd have done it from watching this one.
Best tutorial on CZcams for a beginner
like me. Hands down great job man 👍🏾
Thanks a million for this! I've struggled so long, since I didn't know exactly what to do and when. 11/10 👌
Incredible Guide! Still up to date so far! Super simple but super informative, keep up such good work!
Thank you Chico!
Great video. Very concise with all the steps we need.
This was comprehensive and helpful. Thanks!
Thanks for doing this, great video and I have a tonne of notes now :)
Your voice is so good for narration. Great video, like the departure airport, prob flew over me!
Awesome job Clear instructions
This video was insanely well made! Thanks a lot!
Great video! I learned a lot after watching this video, thank you! Love the way you explain and time you take to show where you get info from. Got a subscriber here.
Very well-done video tutorial. It is easy to follow and understand. I like the to-the-point direction you made. I believe the AP1 & AP2 autoland has been fixed - I used it yesterday. This is a very nice aircraft. Thank you for the video. It is very helpful.
Great video, many thanks!
Fantastic video especially for a beginner like me! Thank you very much! Boris 🇨🇭
Awesome ! Great Video ! Thank You 👍🙏🏻❤️👨✈️✈️
great video thank you..will keep watching to learn more.......this is new to me.. thank you
Greets from NZCH! Thanks for a truly wonderful vid. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best Turorial I came across so far. Your voice is so clear and explaination is very detail. Thanks for sharing Well done M8
☺
Thank you so much Kim!
One of the best cold and dark setup using the MCDU, which can be intimidating.
That landing was butter!
best tutorial I seen yet love it
Amazing. So much hard work put into this. Thanks a lot!
You're very welcome!
wonderful explanation
fantastic video ur work is very appreciated mane
Great stuff and its Gold for the noobs - well done
Thanks man!
Thank you for your time and effort into this video. I watched flybywire videos and couldn’t figure out the avionics of this plane. I’ve worked on Boeing McDonnell Douglas Lockheed Douglas and I’m old enough to remember the convair 880 all of which I’ve used avionics and airframe with delta and scarebus is the result of drinking at the age of 3
So I hardly ever comment on videos, but this was a great walk through - great job. Thanks.
Appreciate that Arthur!
Excellent. Thank you very much for the effort
Thank you so much! I’m a teenager and a lot of these videos never explain it well. After this I am having the most fun I could ever have an never crashing lol
Happy to hear this helped you, have fun!
just what i needed. thanks
Excellent video!
exactly what i need! I got the TCA Pack from Thurstmaster and fly in VR and thought the landings were really janky and weird. Found flybywire and learned i need to program alot more but this will help me do just that!
Excellent tutorial!!
thank you I've learnt a lot from this tutorial.
This is awesome, thank you
Welcome Mat! Thanks
i did know the plane from beefore.. But i just want to say this was a very nice and good guide for starters whit this plane :) good job man 10/10
Great to hear this helped you!
Wow that nose dive was sharp, Ive done a couple of auto lands and its flared nicely and been ok
Few versions back I had it do an okay-ish job into KSFO. But since then I did one at KLGA and now KSMF and it did that dive the same way. Could be airport specific at the moment.
THE best Flyby wire tutorial I have see. Clear, slow and very accurate. Keep up the good work. you did this a very long time ago. why don't you do a fresh video as the A320NX has come a long way since then. 👍😊
Thank you so much! I would like to revisit it now with an updated tutorial. As we foresaw they really polished it up.
Amazing job …thank you so much ! Superb !!
Thank you Rick!
Thank you so much! :-)
Wow thank you so much!
Jesus you’ve out done yourself this time my man 😀
Thank you sir! The people wanted callouts, they got em!
Dont say the Lords name in vain
very nice video ,
Brilliant!
Very interesting and informative, am new to this aircraft so hopefully it's not changed to much.
Only changed where as things that were not working work now. I made sure to treat it as if everything worked so it’s not outdated.
Best tutorial! Thank you man
Welcome man! Any questions feel free to reach out here!
@@TheFlightSimDeck are you a real airbus pilot? You know so much!
@@FellipeRodrigues89 thanks! No just been studying the Airbus logic for the last 6 years. I also have a couple Airbus pilots in my circle that are always happy to answer questions.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! even better then the zibo 737 video!
Very welcome! Thanks for pushing me to do it. Trying to top them each time.
@@TheFlightSimDeck you sure did this time
Superior Video tutorial of getting started and more on the A32NX! Thanks! :)
Your preffesionalism and calm way to describe the procedures and handling of all these systems are great!
Q: when you left 210 for 190 (@29:20), i wonder how would i know when to select the new altitude. Must I select them in order, or can I select the lowest of the constraints? I saw youy hopped one Alt-constraint when setting 9000ft.
Once again Thank You! / David sweden.
Thanks, so much info
You got it Tissa! Peace ✌️
Hi. Very informative stream. the only error or omission I found was you turned on the NAV lights after push back. I worked as a ramp supervisor for ten years. i found the nav lights were usually one of the first items done after battery on. many ground services at my airport were not allowed to approach a totally dark aircraft (needed at least nav lights)!
Yea I have taken many flights and have always seen that the NAV lights are the first ones on!
Thank you for this tip.
Thank you for the info
I was actually bout to type that the nav lights were turned on after pushback. I think u should turn them on once u have batteries and ext power on. I don't think he used ext power on as well. Also I think that ur supposed to turn the strobe lights on once ur cleared for departure
Also, when he aligned the IRS he went from left to right but in reality it should be done left, right, middle.
Hi mate great video. Do you experimenting some issues after version 5 update? Such as eng 1 turns off after using thrust? And wing lights and beacon lights are not operative. Pls let me know.
Hi Bull, thanks! Just tested and all of that works on the development version. But I can't set managed speed mode while on the ground. Works after takeoff.
got the same thing and its driving me nuts. It was working fine before sim update 5, now I cant turn on/off the lights, the buttons seem to be unclickable. I got the version installed from within the sim. Im gonna try removing it and using the fly by wire installer instead to see if it helps.
@@LordLookas I think that is how you need to do it. Remove the stock plane from MSFS and install the Fly By Wire only.
@@hiortintexasracing yea that's what I did and it helped, now I can control my lights. For some reason the marketplace version for A320FBW was broken. The one from the website installer works like a charm now.
Before turning on any power, you should have included a wiper check when first coming up to the Over Head Panel. This may have been pointed out below, but just in case I am mentioning it here. Didn't get any further in the video as it is late here. Didn't want to forget.
I know I thought of that after. That is a pre-power check for sure. I mean realistically they won’t be on in this sim from cold, but if we’re going to run this aa real as possible that needs to be checked. I’ll annotate it on screen at that point with the text editor.
Can you do a video on how to set up custom camera views
Thank u so much man this helped, but how can u turn off the atc?
Thx
excellent for the operation of this airplane five stars!
Thank you HANS!
@@TheFlightSimDeck where can I find the Flight Plan ?
@@hansholland5300 I have a video about that covering the options. Best source is SimBrief. czcams.com/video/KfBg8kJJ3nQ/video.html
You know it’s butter when you hear 5 before touchdown 👍
lol.. right... even the 10 feet call but yeah... 5 feet callout is every pilot's dream.
I love the way you start with the lights! It's do damned annoying when we don't know how to get the lights on? Cheers.
Oh man what an amazing video. How did you learn all of that. I have tried to learn but I keep missing something. I must be getting olde!! LOL. I finally got my desktop computer in perfect synch with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I would pay you to teach me. 😊. Thank you
I enjoyed your tutorial, good work ! Are there check lists provided, there's a lot to remember.
I have a good one printed. I'll try to see if I can find it online again then link here.
@@TheFlightSimDeck It’s ok, grabbed a copy from flybywire, put it on my iPad
@@TheFlightSimDeck External lights, always forget what to turn on when, get confused (not old) I replied you with a link
Id love to know which OFP layout you used to get such simple plans.
Hi m8! Great and very nice tutorial thanks a lot. Subscription! Just a question: how do you got working avatars like that in fbw and actual release of Msfs? Thanks
Hi, thank you! The avatars appear when you enter the showcase camera mode. There might also be a mod now but that's how I saw them.
Awesome video how do you know how to trim ie how did you know how to use 1.2 for the figure in the mcdu
You can take your CG value and then use the number below that on this chart. images.app.goo.gl/cLPKW9ZxxBRy4CQg9
can you make thje guide for simbrief too (for this video same route)
Hi, nice video. After take off I cannot turn to STd the Qnh and cannot set the throttle to speed mode in climb. Why? Thank you
Very nice video. How do you put the pilots? What software do you use to simulate the physical pilots ?
They show up when in showcase camera mode. There might be a mod to have them in cockpit mode.
Probe heat comes on automatically at first engine start. The switch is to override it to on if you don’t want to follow the system logic.
A pdf to refer too would be great
I seem to have issues maintaining my cruise altitude. I get there and everything is fine but then next thing I know, I’m going up. What gives? Throttle is usually on CL. I also have a hard time descending and usually overshoot my destination because I’m too high
Wow, very nice video dude. I LOVE the way you explain everything in such detail. But it would be great if i can fly the A320 in MFS2020 or any plane for that matter. :-( Ever since the 5 update a week ago, my system crashes badly. No matter what i do and I even had a computer tech come to my house and check all my settings and nothing he does makes it so i can fly any plane in MFS2020. :-( It was working 110% perfectly before the 5 update. So I'm back to flying the Tolis A321 in X-Plane 11 for now.
Thanks Jim! I responded to your other comment too about some of these things, and what else to try. I’m hoping it works for you soon!
Very nice ... I have downloaded the latest Development version and notice many issues with the FCU (to panel) Is it important to continually download updates ? or is that just periodic ? Being April 2022 have you found issues with AP and VS and various other items ? MCDU no longer has OPTIONS on MCDU MENU.
Hoping to see these fixed, or discover the MIS USE of the devices by the pilot (me...). I do note that someone commented on DELETEING THE MSFS version of the A320, I will try that I suppose...
Also I cannot seem to use the TRIM Knob except when I am on the ground even with all AP and FD buttons OFF.
do u need to navigraph subscription for it to be accurate or can it be done without?
Great video! I did the same route as you and for whatever reason I have breaks in my flight plan!! Or discontinuities
That’s probably more accurate to how it actually is. It might have those right after a SID ends and transitions to the rest of the route, or sometimes right before the STAR begins and usually before the final runway approach. Just have to clear them as you go or before hand.
@@TheFlightSimDeck I was able to clear them! Thank you for the reply!
From Saint to Simmer, the story of patrick LOL
Bonjour mon ami merci beaucoup pour cette belle vidéo. Moi j'ai un soucis avec mon Airbus 320 version développeur j'ai toujours des panne moteurs et instruments peux tu m'aider merci 👍
Hello, Do you have any good tutorial for aircraft window views?
hello, I wanted to ask two things, the first is that I cannot see the arrow that indicates the descent and ascent (minute 28:11). The second thing, the course of the ILS in the MCDU appears an inscription F000 I think ,and I can't enter the course. Can you help me? Thank you
Where do you find the BARO at 31:15? Is it on the approach sheets?
With Airbus you don't have to include the runway elevation just the minimum number. Most of the time it's 200ft. More rarely it might be higher and that will be noted on the chart too. On Boeing for example, you do need to look at the chart because you need to add 200ft + the runway elevation. So if runway elevation is 114ft then you would add 200ft + 114ft and you would put 314ft for the baro and it will warn you at 200ft that you're at minimums.
Best and most understandable A32nx tutorial ever. One question, please: any idea on why there's no TOD arrow indication (as shown in your video at 28:11) on the MCDU after A32nx version 6.0? Or do I have to enable it somehow? Thank you very much
Thank you so much! It should be there but from what I know it’s still not working yet. I’m using the latest development version. The one shown in the video was the marker to show you when you are making it to the MCP altitude you have set. For some reason it stayed on and looked like it was the TOD marker. I hope that makes sense. Eventually it should work after one of these updates.
@@TheFlightSimDeck Thank you very much for your answer, I hope I proper TOD marker becomes available in the future.
Thank you just downloaded earlier and was able to start but could leave the ground 🙂
That’s a good start!

Hello I am all your videos are great so I want to tell you that I have a problem with the FBW A32NX aircraft is when I import the flight plan from simbrief to the MCDU of the aircraft and in pressing the F.PLN button I can't find anything it remains empty, can you help me find a solution to this problem and thank you very much.
Hi there. I have just installed the A32NX and have noticed that acceleration down the runway on take off seems way to fast. If I compare it with the standard MSFS A320Neo which reaches 140 knots in 23 seconds, the A32NX reaches 140 knots in 17 seconds - is this realistic (I checked to ensure the MFS sim rate was x 1) or am I doing something wrong?
Many thanks
Can you please do a series on xplane tolis a321
You can actually follow this one for the Tolis too. It’s transferable to any Airbus logic. The A318-21, even the 330 for the most part.
Hi there, Fantastic and helpful video.
Forgive me for ignorance - but i used to fly FSX with the Aerosoft a320 before transitioning over to FS2020 and when setting up the flight, it would calculate (and show) the altitudes (I think what was called VNAV). and it would show where the altitude profile path should be on the descent etc. the CI would just all this.
Is this function missing entirely from FBY's version?
Thank you! They're still working on it. They had to create the whole process from scratch both the MCDU calculations and how the MFD displays the information.
@@TheFlightSimDeck thanks for the super helpful reply 😊
great video. can i ask how you get the screen to come on in front of you that shows speed ALT and climb. whenever i fire her up i always get ACC error
Is this a recent issue? It could be that the IRS system is still aligning.
@@TheFlightSimDeck thanks for the reply :) turns out it was my mistake, i forgot the 3 switches below the ADIRS light
When you push down on the knobs are you using the middle mouse or the left or right mouse button. Everytime I try to press with the middle roller it turns the knob. Sometimes they don't do anything when I click on them. Wondering if its just a bug. Because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.
I use left click. Each knob has two hover points for the mouse cursors. You’ll see the symbol change. One is to push the button and one is to pull.
Hello, I have a problem with the mcdu, in the flight plan when im inserting the arrival star, it dosent show the runway 07L in Hong Kong airport. Another problem with the departure, I cant find the sid implemented in simbreif. Is this a flybywire problem or sim?
After update sim5 stable version of A32x doesn't work, need to use dev version
Very good but when im about to turn onto the ils the autopilot goes absolutely bollocks any fixes?
How far out are you intercepting? At least 10 miles will be needed. Try to record a video if you can.
8:52 sometimes when I click them it comes up with "not allowed" or error. sometimes it works though
Anyway you could share all the addons you have running during this video?
The only add ons are the Airbus itself, and pushback helper. All else is default.
