    I came across your page and I’m so happy. I start classes on Tuesday to get my nail technician certification! I’m excited and nervous at the same time! Thank you for all you do and sharing your insight and experiences with us!

    I have been watching you for so long and you have inspired me to start my own nail business. I also struggle with my time. I thought I was the only one taking 1 1/2 - 2 hours to do a set. Love your work!!!😍🥰

    Omg I'm just seeing this video. How amazing you answered all the questions. I'm in Tallahassee and recently received my license (February 14th, 2020 😊). I've worked in one salon but it didn't have the professionalism I was looking for. I'm moving into another salon now where I'm the only nail tech. I'm excited but extremely nervous lol. Thank you for an amazing channel I'm doing my nails now so I'm rewatching all of your videos. Be safe and God bless

    OMG! Thanks for answering my questions. I completely agree with the time thing it always takes me a little longer to complete a set but I feel like it's more important to put that extra time into detail to make quality sets instead of rushing.( props to the super fast people). Thanks again girl great video and thanks for all the tips and advice! love your work!!! I think you would be a great instructor!!!

    Yes in other states people can have a salon out of their house. But it still has to go through an approval process like you did with your salon to be legal. A lady across the street from me in Idaho turned this little outer section of her home into her salon. Pretty awesome

    If I regularly went to a nail tech, I think I would tell them to wing it and do whatever they wanted. Tell them colours/designs I gravitate towards but let them do the rest. I would think it’s a great opportunity for them to be artistic and try something new or perfect something, but I get how it could also be frustrating to a nail tech. Most people go in with an exact design and colours, so when you have to think outside the box and wing it, your mind probably scrambles 🙈

    Thanks soooo much for this Q & A. I went to Not Polish's website and just started adding to my cart only to notice that it was a dip powder. They said to use the 2 n 1 but I am confident in your videos and your opinion so I will be buying them.

    Question: I just started doing nails and do you recommend buying a nail dust collector? If not, how do you get rid of the dust. Also, the monomer smell.

    Hi Vee. I have a question. In your salon you have co-workers… do you rent them booths or do you pay them hourly? And if you don’t get along with a co-worker how do you hire/fire them? Do you also have them sign a contract with you for that booth or have them come and go? I hope my questions make sense.

    If you do a nail course and you receive a certificate, does that mean you are licensed or do you have to go through another process to be licensed

    • @ElegantSkies
      @ElegantSkies Před 3 lety

      You need a certain amount of hours, per state to be licensed. Basically, every state requires you to do an actual test in order to be licensed. Hope that helps :]
