I've been doing this reflection during the lasts months, trying to not see as 100% bad the things I don't like about me like my fears and anxiety, they are a survival mechanism like the ego, so it means they have a use and are part of us, it wants to keep us safe. Nonetheless it's true we have to surpass ourselves and living as we trully are (call it soul, counsciousness, bliss...) but we have to do it negociating with our other parts because they are parts of us and we can't ignore them if we try to shut them up it will turn into uncounciousness and be our destiny. Also sometimes they are necessary like the anxiety/fear when a predator comes to eat you, and even sometimes we have anxiety because we are not being honest with ourselves. I used to identify with my intellect but I also realized that it's also a part of me and even my thinking is a part of me but not me (we also have thoughts of other people in our minds), we are who listen "the voices", we are who feel in our skin, we are the form of counsciousness and bliss. Maybe this is the start to the spiritual awakening and I really believe that great suffering leads to wisdom. This week I've played a platform game called Celeste which talks about this and I think it's great.
That thumbnail… damn bro. Only up from here Sometimes a day off from the gym is the correct choice for growth. Or doing something adjacent like yoga and breathing work instead. Then eat and take a nap and reassess. If you’re still feeling too sore and tired it’s for sure a no go. Then it’s a 2 hour massage and chill with the pup. Haha
