I tried the demo on steam deck and at first I didn’t think I’d be a fan of the huge change but you know what, I’m happy with how the game turned out!

Game looks good. Just lose the long hair and immediately character looks better. Nice work
After the first boss the second area is a nightmare with the sanity meter..renove or tone down the meter...
Literally i heal ONCE and she becomes insane and my hole screen turns purple...and with the bad graphics the game is almost unplayable ..i cant see anything...who thought this is a good idea

Anyway, it sounds to me that you probably have the "Blessing of Insanity" active. That's basically the games "hard mode", and does exactly what you describe here. So change that to something else, and you'll probably have a bit easier time :)

With the array of FromSoftware game influences here, it almost needs its own sub genre, FromSoft-like perhaps, given the similarities to Sekiro with the Poise mechanic in combat, the hub area like in Dark Souls 3 and the weapon mods and leveling in Bloodborne. These are not criticisms at all, far from it, this is how great games are made, finding what you enjoy and implementing them in your own game is how the industry evolves. Can't wait to play and thank you to the developers for releasing a physical version. I hope the game does well and sees continued patch support and improvements where needed. 🎉

The demo was a lot of fun. I prefer fun over intense frustration. Enjoyed the first one so I'll get this one too.

The weapon variety definetly looks like a highlight, might give it a shot!
They just need to polish it, fix the hit boxes etc, but they did a great job from top down to this, love the environment and enemies

I dislike clicking sticks for targeting and other action you have to do in stressfull situations like combat. I just can't do it properly in those situations. I was so glad I could change the targeting in Dark Souls to another button.
I do as well thankfully you can remap I believe but I use Nyxi Joycon so have the back button that I map to clicks. Link in the description 😂

Bloodborne is the BEST Playstation game during the HD-era (PS3-PS5) by a large margin, for me then. So this looks pretty interesting. There're too many weak Soulsborne games on Switch, this may breaks that trend. Wonder if that saw weapon is as fun as Whirligig Saw in Bloodborne?
I enjoyed the visceral nature of the first game, so very much looking forward to this rendition
Looks so much better than that one you all covered a couple years ago (I think it was called Shattered?) and looks to be a decent addition to the Soulslikes on Switch. I'll probably go the Steam Deck route but glad it's decent!

I do struggle with souls-like, having bought and sold the game with out getting out of the first dungeon/room/ house/castle. But the I adored Eldens Ring, absolutely massive, a game that kept on giving. So were do I sit, Glen? Mark?

With the visuals looking like they do, I would have hoped the frame rate was a bit better. Actually from what it looks like, it seems as though there's an issue with the frame time (not the frame rate persay). So if indeed there is an issue with the frame time, fixing that and getting a smoother 30fps would be great. Otherwise, as it stands in its present state, the footage from this game starts to make my eyes hurt after a couple mins. Here's hoping a few patches can clean up the game a little more.

I got mine today, enjoying it, but man the brightness on it is really bad. It's weird, I tried putting it to it's lowest but there is just a bright smear over it. Il probably play it all on ps5 but I always buy switch physical versions of games when I can no matter what.

@@Funky_Axl it's a souls like but in my opinion it's not as hard as normal souls games, it's a little more forgiving. But there isn't an difficulty setting.

I finished Dark Souls on the Switch, after getting stuck years ago on the PS4 so I been wanting a new Soulslike on this awesome handheld. The 1st Morbid had me so lost I couldn't finish it but Im giving this one a shot.

Well, give it a try, I think it’s worth it.Dark Souls 3 is still the best game I have ever played.Bloodborne is awesome too.I haven’t played soulsborne since 2016.

I can tell switch up really like this game lol. I played the demo on the rog ally and i from the little i played it was decent. Too early to reslly jufge ir. I like how easy it is to do everything though gameplay wise.

I was able to locate a copy of this one nearby my house! Thought it looked worthy of a fair shake. It's too bad the textures are as rough as they are! Aside from some jank, the bones on this one are good and I'm having fun so far!

If you add bad graphics,more simplistic combat,less weapons and armors and take out all the grim medieval gothic horror atmosphere of bloodborne ,well them maybe you can compare both games I guess.
