@@PremiumUserUltradont disrespect sergio diamond eyes being his first project in the band is almost unbelievable and some of the band's best works are with him. rest in piece chi but both were just as much a part of deftones as the other. what they did to sergio was not cool at all :(

The vibe was unlike any of their other albums. It's raw, chaotic & fast paced.
If he released official official tab books from some of the albums, I’d buy them. I know there’s already tab books out but not by Steph. I’d for sure buy the first three album tab books.

Same here 25 years ago, a highschool friend askme if I knew Deftones and I laugh and say something like I dont knowthem but sound very old like in the 50s. Next day he gaveme a mixtape whith all Adrenaline and Around the Fur and some Coal Chamber songs, I was inmediately hook and from that day to now Deftones is my favorite band of all time..
We used to play this and bored and 7 word's in a band back in high school! I miss those day's man! This whole fucking album is killer! Not one filler track on it!🤘

My favorite Deftones track. Even after all the amazing stuff they've released over the decades, this one still reigns supreme in my eyes after 27 or so years

fuck yea! that ending chord on top of the entire syncopation between chino abe and chi RIP is incredible. and the mix too so fkn well put together for their first album
Root in my opinion, is probably one of the more playful songs on the album, mostly because of the fast picking riff.
It's not a particularly hard riff to learn, it's the picking speed that can be hard to get down initially if you're not used to it.
If you've played the bridge and ending of the song wrong the entire time up to now, it'll be an adjustment

One of my favorites from adrenaline!
Our generation was truly special and i pity everyone that came after us. Walking down the halls of high school my big ass CD Player listening to this the day after i bought it at Media Play seems almost like remembering a dream i had and wished i never woke up from. White Pony broadened their fan base awesomely so, but Adrenalin and Around the Fur were two albums that definitely introduced me and I'm assuming many others to those few special friends that became like your family. Without music, life would be a mistake
I love you Stephen. Thank you for giving us all these wonderful riffs that have been with me for over 20 years and that have enhanced my life immensely.
