I thought my son was crazy for joining 82nd Airbourne. Jumping from aircraft no way. Well he loved the thrill. Spent 8 yrs in the Army. Had to be discharged due to leg and arm injuries. Proud of my son.

@@texasexes1207 Duh, if you're making HALO jumps you're some kind of special operators as regular airborne troops don't jump HALO/HAHO. And to enlighten you females are now in all special ops units and/or attached to a special ops unit and must also qualify as HALO/HAHO jumpers as well.

@@richardsanchez9435 yes females are attached to spec ops units these days. They're even allowed to try out for selection, though not a lot, if any have actually become operators. Anyways, these guys aint necessarily SF. They might be, but they might also be not. Maybe theyre PJs. YOU SEE, that's not a goddamned halo jump. Just because this not static line doesn't make it a halo jump. Halo is from 25k feet. That is combat freefall. You can go to combat freefall if you've got your battalion commander on board. And get accepted into freefall school. Yes, Halo is a part of combat freefall, but it's only taught at the upper echelons. Maybe these guys/gals know how to halo. But they def aren't doing halo in this vid. You don't jump without oxygen in a halo jumps or you'll reach the ground dead. Or atleast you'll get bends. Or nitrogen poisioning. At any rate you'll be fked up and in no shape to do much of anything.

I don’t think the Air Force has a skydiving team?!?!! I believe that these are PJs and CCT‘s---and yes they are the most deployed teams in the world-- and the most dangerous!!!!! @@christianeasley767 you are misinformed. Special operations jump with their combat loadout. We don’t wear bump helmets we wear our actual helmets. The holes in the helmets mean they are non-standard issue non-ballistic bumper helmets. That would not be worn by any combat troop. There are no weapons, ammo or rucksacks all things we would jump with every single jump also I don’t recall ever even hearing about a female PJ or CCT. But that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Either way this is propaganda footage and not troops doing a real job.

Respect and best wishes from UK, I have an old school friend who's in the British parachute regiment, I think the 3rd Battalion (3 para) he's been to the US several times to train alongside US airborne troops, and always speaks very highly of them, he says in a war you want US airborne on your side!

Мы с ан 12 прыгали с привязанным калашом на груди, с вертолетов тоже, сапоги заранее были привязаны чтоб не улетели. В первый прыжок в огороды залетели чьи то загородные ,уплетали там яблоки и помидоры, солдаты всегда голодными были.

You know you're getting old when nobody jumps with a T-10 or ParaCommand anymore. Nice video !
The T-10 has been gone for years. The T-11 is the standard chute for static line jumps now. And these aren't paratroopers. They're special operators. Paratroopers don't do MFF.
