either I'm doing something wrong or my shits 26 and a site im trying to buy from has the minimum 28-30 I know im not 5"6
I wear 36X34. When I measured a pair of pants that fit me well, the inseam is only 32". Is this a common thing? Is this why I can't find pants that fit me well, because of vanity sizing?

It’s really a dumb way to measure since the crotch could vary in length.
Exactly. The lady cutting my pants said it was to be measured starting where the crotch was so I got a few of my pants altered and they were all too short . Asked my dad who’s a professional tailor and he said it’s not where you’re supposed to start. It’s supposed to be measured from the top of the pants not at the start from the crotch.
I need mine to be measured. I can't find a pair of pants or jeans at all. A couple years ago I lost a few lbs and just about every piece of clothing I had was falling off. I gained it all back but it didn't distribute evenly. And with the skinny or straight style, they fit for about an hour then I get rolls going down my leg and I can pull them off. My waist isn't the problem.

@@OfficerSkeleton Pants normally come in 3 inseam sizes. 30, 32, and 34. If you don’t have a SINGLE pair of pants to get a ROUGH estimate (as I said in previous comment) then there is no hope for you.

This is stupid, obviously if you already have a "well" fitting pair of pants you probably already know your inseam measurements.
UNHELPFUL when all of your pants pant legs are to long although all of my pants fit me. The pant legs are to long. I have to fold them up or else I will be walking on them but not all pants depending on the material will stay folded up.
Clothes are racist against short people and u are too for being unhelpful lol jk. Help!
For a quick and easy solution to your problem without sewing/hemming you can fold or roll the bottom of your pant legs inside your pants and iron them so that they stay at the length you desire. This is how I hem pants when I don't feel like using my sewing machine. I also use pinking shears to cut off the excess material, but you don't have to unless it bothers you.
