  • What’s up everybody. In todays video, I will be Installing and reviewing a set of rear saddlebag crash bars for my 2016 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special. I got these off eBay for a fraction hours of the cost you would pay from Harley Davidson. They were easy to install and turned out great.

I've read that top piece (seat support) on the bar where the seat is you supposed to remove that and not reinstall it.. Being that the bar is there now it acts as the seat support.. also on the bottom of your bags where you put the washers on the bar you might want to check your bags if the bolt is rubbing against your bags..

Thank you for posting this. Great tutorial, I had my crash bar delivered yesterday and I found your installation of the crash bars very useful. 👍

Hi! What size are the nuts on the back of the T45 & T40 bolts that attache the underside bag support to the frame inside of the slip ons?

How is the quality of the craftsmanship? And how good is the black powder coat/paint on the bars look?

For the price they look very good. I have no complaints.

Bought it on eBay and they became spotty over time. Like water marks that were permanently embedded and couldn't wash it off. Complete fail for me..

Will these work on a RoadKing Special 2022 with extended saddlebags?

I have the same question. I am buying a RKS 2022 but I don't like those little crash bars it comes with and prefer the regular size ones.

I’m not 100% sure but I click the link and browse the description to see if they are compatible or email the seller as they may have other options for different bikes.
