larry bird - Zábava
The relationship between Larry and Magic is what defines the difference between Enemies and Rivals. Rivals respect each other and push each other to be better. You can be great friends and still be rivals because at the end of the day, you leave it on the court and keep the respect.
I've never heard it described like that but very well said
It's like backyard baskitball
There is a case to made that Magic Bird rivalry saved basketball. We are still watching I’m amazement
Very well put, I felt that,...still great friends to this day with rivals from other High Schools. Never enemies, well, respectfully, on the field od court.
Respect transcends that.
Larry's mind is what made him next level. He knew what to do and when to do it. You didn't know if he was going to shoot, pass, or what the hell he was going to do. He could drain it being double teamed with a couple of hands in his face, he could pass it, or he could fake it, you just never knew. I grew up as a Jordan fan and in that era, but watching things like this makes me realize that Bird was next level, simply because of his mind. One of only 3 players to win 3 straight MVS, a coach of the year, then won an exectuive of the year (the only person ever to win all three), that shows his basketball genius.
You know Larry. No doubt about it.👍👍👍
That's just a taste of Larry's play. You literally could not stop him from scoring...including being double teamed by MJ and Pippen, 7'4" Ralph Sampson, Kareem, Olajuwan, Dominique, etc. He averaged more rebounds than Patrick Ewing, was a phenom at passing, the king of trash talking, and an assassin at clutch shooting. Top 3 player of all time, right there.
Wilt, Bird, Russel I think is close.
I know Larry had a strong sense for the game. I haven't watched enough of Russel to know where his mind was at so he gets 3rd.
Wilt, his mind was as strong as he was physically. So I'm on the fence between him & Larry for first.
@@andybilakshow260 There are a few NBA greats that think Wilt is the best player ever and won't brook a debate. 😊
Larry bird was the best all around player. He did everything at the highest level.
@@RjDixonTV that happens to a lot of people 😂😂 you should watch larry was no choir boy - dude was a fighter.
Love watching dudes check out Bird for the first time, Larry was a monster bro.
@@RjDixonTV you wait, so many just know him as a shooter and he could do everything. Hell of a passer and averaged double digits for his career.
Larry Bird was the best all-around player, you need to watch the Larry Bird passing tape and the trash talking tape. Not only did he get in your face and say he was going to shoot it but he backed it up That's how good he was. You put this man in today's game with the technology and all the medical advances. This man will be the best player ever. And the man played injured all the time, best basketball IQ you have ever seen.
He got the name Larry legend for a reason and now you can see why.
Larry is the most complete player in the NBA.
Plus a little fact that Larry is one of the few players that has a winning record against MJ in both the regular season and in the playoffs. Also there is a video that show that Larry is one of the players MJ never got even or revenge against. Larry
A winning record in regular season and a sweep in playoff series.
No joke...... would LOVE to watch a prime and "HEALTHY" Larry Bird dismantle and disgrace today's NBA. He'd very realistically average a quadruple/double every game while even pushing Curry for tops in field goal and free throw percentages. Young folks don't know..... but Bird was a very bad man and you definitely did not want to see his Celtics in the playoffs. That guy was no joke and easily had the talent to destroy today's league, but his body failed him. There's a story when he coached the Pacers, not long after he hand underwent a shoulder or back surgery and was out at the shoot around when they were in the playoffs and rhe story goes that Bird..... a recently surgical repaired Bird hit about 20 shot sin a row from varying distances as the Pacers were prepping to play the Bulls. Knowing Bird..... I straight 💯 believe that story.
Yeah, the players jaws were on the floor & they didn’t even want to practice after that! To top it off, Larry did all that in a suit & tie, & walked off after like it was nothing 😂
Best all around player of all time. Best clutch shooter, best passing forward of all time. Unselfish, made his teammates better. I watched all of these golden age games live, he was the best player on the floor at all times. Yes, Jordan was more athletic, but you can name 30 things Larry did that MJ didn't. Telling opponents the play in a playoff game, Left handed game, 3 point contests, being drafted as a junior in college. Watch the entire game 6 of the 86 playoffs vs Houston.........omg as a Rockets fan I was devastated. I have never seen anyone play a better game.
Not only the best Caucasian basketball player ever but maybe the best basketball player ever. Watch more Bird video's and after a while you'll see what this guy really is.
People always notice his amazing shooting, passing or handles but Bird also averaged around 10 boards a game for most of his career as well the man was an all around beast!
Ok , I am going to explain lots about Bird here that you need to know and why Bird is the best all-around player of all time.
First - even before Bird started his NBA career he broke the index finger and shattered the knuckle on his shooting hand and he said he never shot as well after that. He can't straighten it and the knuckle is hideous.
Second - Birds affect on the Celtics was immediate. The year before Bird played for the Celtics, the Celtics were 29-53. With Bird being the only significant change to Boston's roster, the Celtics record in Bird's first year was 61-21.
Third - Bird won Rookie of the Year and came in 4th in the MVP voting his rookie year. This is where Bird placed in the MVP voting the next 8 years - 2,2,2,1,1,1,3,2, becoming only the 3rd player in NBA history(Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell are the other 2) to win 3 straight MVPs
Fourth- Bird founded the 50-40-90 club, which is 50% or more field goal percentage, 40% or more 3-pt field goal percentage and 90% or more free throw percentage. There are only 9 players in NBA history who have accomplished this and only 2 who have done it more than once. Bird did it in back to back seasons and Steve Nash did it 3 times in a row(4 times overall).
Fifth - in games Bird played in, his team won 73.58% of the time, only 2nd to Magic at 73.95%
Sixth - even after the Celtics got McHale, Parish, Ainge and Dennis Johnson, Bird still made a huge difference - how huge, the Celtics record in the 87-88 season was 57-25. In the 88-89 season Bird only played in 6 games and had surgery for bone spurs on both feet, the Celtics record that years was 42-40.
Seventh - his overall statistics -
He's not the best shooter ever
He's not the best rebounder ever
He's not the best scorer ever
What he is is a complete player and is in the top 250 NBA players of all time in these 8 categories
Field goal %
Free Throw %
Points per game
Assists per game
Rebounds per game
Steals per game
Blocks per game
Minutes per game
Lebron isn't, Jordan isn't, Steph isn't, Kobe isn't, Durant isn't Dirk isn't, Magic isn't, Kareem isn't, Wilt isn't, Bill Russell isn't, and the list goes on and on. Bird is in the top 60 players of all time in 6 of the 8 categories.
And last there are the things he did that I don't so anyone else doing.
He played most of a game shooting with his off-hand just because he wanted to.
Time after time in big spots he would tell the other team what the play was and where he would shoot from , before the play even started
He knew where all players on the court were at all times.
Additionally, Bird accomplished all this while playing hurt his entire career, the worst of it playing with a bad back after, get this, shoveling gravel while building a driveway at his mothers house.
If Bird was breathing and could move he was playing
😁
Great summary, but you forgot one other stat. Top 10 in beers consumed the night before. On away games, he'd drink locals under the table, get into the occasional bar fight, and then drop 30 on their team the next day! Legend! 😄
The dude was about as old skool and blue collar as it gets. I couldn't even imagine how much of a BEAST he would've been with modern day medicine/treatment and had he put more into physical training/therapy.
@@rmcclain124 yup. charles barkley said, during olympics, that he would never go drinking with larry ever again, because he's hit the harder beers like they were nothing.
If his back was better he'd have the best winning % ever, if he had Magic's team he'd be ahead by miles.
If their 1987 draft pick didn't die (Len Bias) he'd have the record, and a few more rings to go with it.
If I had a time machine I'd drop a 20yr old bird in 2020 and watch him turn Luka "magic" into Luka "eh that was alright i guess". Joker won MVP the last 2 years, and I'd argue bird is a more athletic version of everything that makes Joker great, with a more manic competitiveness as well.
There will NeVeR EvEr be
another Larry Bird !!!!
--> Magic Johnson
Man, you skipped a whole huge section of this mixtape where Larry fell, smacked his face *hard* on the floor - went to the locker room for treatment. While the team doctor’s back was turned, Larry snuck out to check back into the game - with a cheek fracture and a concussion, mind you… and went on a mad scoring run to carry his team to victory !
Meanwhile todays guys are sitting games out for stepping on a lego
he also suffered from double vision after his return, and it was game 5 of a 5 game playoff series...
@@roryjohnston6567
That’s disrespectful so YEAH. Why should they play? Punk asses.
@@RjDixonTV doesn't that suck dude? nice job btw
Not only best white guy but also the only person to win MVPs. Then win coach of the year. Then win executive of the year. His 3 straight MVPs came at a time when there were more hall of famers playing than at any other time.
Larry Bird's basketball IQ and ball awareness was what made him nearly indefensible...he was unselfish he would make sure the points were on the board either himself or one of those incredible passes to who could hit it in...the 80s were the best decade of the NBA...incredible games and the league today couldn't play the physical game the OGs did rules have changed my friends. Good 1st reaction.
You better believe it. Larry legend was the most complete player to ever play the game. He was mister clutch, if you gave him the last shot he would make you pay.
The best passer that ever played the game.
The best takeaway from my ex-husband was that he was a Celtics fan and so I got to watch all this happen for years. I would have never paid attention to basketball if it weren't for Bird. It was really exciting!
I am 63, seen em all!!!
Larry is top 5 ever!!!!
(Not top 5 white player)
Rookie of the year
(Not Magic!)
3 consecutive league MVPs
2 finals MVPs
Tough as nails.
Best small forward ever,
Not LeBron!!!!!!!!!
Larry would have LeBron crying on the bench by halftime.
Larry Bird is not just
the greatest Caucasian
basketball player …..
He is the GREATEST
Basketball player period !
Greatest all-around ,
hands down ..
Magic & Larry, resurrected the game of basketball......My dad loved basketball, but stopped watching, until the competition between Johnson & Bird was highlighted......What my Dad used to say, about Larry's game, is that it reminded him of someone, who was not only playing basketball, but also, volleyball, dodgeball, hockey, baseball, football, soccer, & strategic chess, all at the same time, and was what made him so great 😊He certainly was one of the most unique and gifted players, I have ever watched!
I chuckled a bit when at the very beginning of this video you said, "That pass!" and I was sitting here thinking to myself, "He's going to be saying that a lot." The thing about Bird was how fast he could think. He played basketball in bullet time.
Larry. Fucking. Legend. That's all I have to say.
James Worthy said "I'd much rather guard Michael Jordan than Larry Bird. Jordan made you look slow, but Larry Bird made you look stupid"
@@RjDixonTV Watch Larry's greatest assists video and you'll see why he's the greatest ALL-AROUND basketball player of all time. The Bird's individual skills were genius but he was also a completely unselfish TEAM PLAYER and led The Celtics by example, giving 110% every time, all the time. The cherry on top is The Bird's trash talking video, because his mouth was a cold-blooded killer.
I hope you’ll go down the Larry Bird rabbit hole….I’ve seen a lot of reactors turned into Larry fans after watching his games & highlights. Larry was a stone cold killer & clutch as hell. Teams FEARED him. Magic feared him! James Worthy & Cooper feared him! Kareem said Larry was the hardest one he had to play against! Larry is in the top 5 of all the greats! Jordan, Wilt, Bill Russell, Kobe, Magic & Lebron *ALL* pick Larry Bird in their starting 5! Think about that!
Larry Bird and Magic saved the NBA 2 🐐🐐☘️☘️ 33 ☘️🐐☘️
You should check out Larry Bird Greatest Passer Of All Time (Re-edit with new footage), his passing was sublime.
@@RjDixonTV - you have to checkout his 60pt game against the Hawks, he hits from everywhere. It's insane.
You're not gonna see a better passing highlight reel from a small forward. Larry was 6'9" 220 lbs, with handles like a point guard. That's why you see people falling down on him, he'd burn you five different ways from the same look.
His retirement ceremony was sold out no game that day. Lol
Yes, the best Caucasian ever and just one of the best ever.
i am old enough where i saw him play everygame, this defiantely brings back the chills, thousands of things not in these highlights, also lucky enough to watch Bobby Orr, when hockey was Hockey. Today's basketball is just a modified game of H O R S E
Well said and I remember old number four too
Larry was the first 90/40/50 did it 2 times and the 3 person to win the mvp 3 years in a row. almost average a triple double for life time he was the goat
Best player ever
LARRY LEGEND IS MY TRUE GOAT 🐐
Bird/Johnson-Johnson/Bird (however you want to put it) was why we watched basketball in the 80's. I grew up with no TV in the house. No big deal but when Boston played LA we went to the neighbors to watch.
I dont know if you saw it but yes, Bird made that shot behind the basket.! Bird and Magic were friends from college and still are today. Amazing!
I love old school. Im 59 and its such a great feeling..! Thanks for the awesome reaction man..
I love people who were raised on dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk (no hate) see what basketball was like in the Bird/Magic era. So much better. Was a great time that shouldn't be dismissed.
Bird would tell the opposing players that he was going to do something, some outrageous play; or shot; then he would do it.
Bird is the best all-around player to ever play the game! He is Mr. Basketball! If you had a top 10 players list of the most steals, passes. shots, game winning shot, trash talk, full court passes, free throws, three-point contest or whatever else, he would rank higher than any other top player! And doing it in the most highly skilled era in basketball. The Goat era!
@4:29 My favorite part of the highlight. He gets 4 players to bite on that fake. 4 !!
Giving you link to Larry bird greatest passer of all time video re-edit. AMAZING
The Boston Garden was sold out for Larry's retirement ceremony. There was no game, the building sold out just to watch him retire.
Definitely watch some Celtics games from the 80s, Larry always does something special, and the ones vs. the Lakers often had to be seen to be believed, I envy the people who got to watch those games live. Also recommend looking into the 92 Dream Team, 11 NBA Hall of Famers on one team, including Bird, Magic and Jordan!
You need to checkout making the case, best example of just how good he was. Larry's not just the baddest white boy he top 5 all time.
That 3 pointer he hit twice to win the game. Way more to it, it's in MTC
Welcome to your Larry Bird journey, there are many great videos about Bird. I suggest checking out Larry bird mosr savage moments, his trash talking, NBA players explain how scary good Larry bird really was. 7 times Larry Bird overcame injuries and best of all the documentary Magic and Bird A Courtship of Rivals . You will really understand why Magic and Bird will forever be linked
He’s the true 🐐#33🍀❤️🏀
Yeah baby! Byrd is the most mind-blowing player I've ever seen. It just doesn't look like a guy like that would have so much grace. It's like watching a magic act. It doesn't look real.
There was no game the night Larry Bird retired, yet the Boston Garden was sold out.
It was a very sad moment watching him leave. It definitely felt like an era of basketball was over.
Bird was the coldest baddest dude on the planet for a decade. Bird literally ran the league..
HE IS CALLED LARRY LEGEND FOR A REASON HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME
3 point contest AND MVP back to back to back !
Best white boy hell, in my opinion he has one of the three best arguments ever as being the goat. That is if you listen and then study your players and really recognize what they have done. MJ, Kareem and Bird top three all time
Pro CZcams tip of the day:
1) Open the video you wanna watch.
2) Skip the the very end of the video.
3) Hit "replay" and it starts over but this time *WITHOUT* Adds.
Youre welcome.
Loved your video, keep up the good work 😁👍
That game in Washington with two game-winners . . . there was actually another at the top of the arc before that to tie and go into overtime.
the 80s was about physical defense and fastbreak offense.. the 90s was just physical defense lol.. but only one player I would pick ahead of Larry Bird. Michael Jordan.. The other 3 players on my starting 5 are interchangeable..
Good points
The Lakers/Celtics, Bird/Magic rivalry is what defined the 1980s NBA, and is widely credited for saving the league. As iron sharpens iron, those two made each other better on the court, and they became the best of friends because of it.
That era was before my time (I grew up in the Bulls/Rockets era of the 90s), but while many young ones view Bird as just simply a great shooter, he was virtually the complete article. Bird could play D if needed, his passing game was unmatched, he could dunk and shoot, his basketball IQ was through the roof, his court vision and awareness was pre-cognitive as if he knew what was going to happen 10 seconds before it did, and I don't think there's any NBA player that could match Bird's drive and motor today.
I'm not sure we'll see a player like that again in our lifetimes.
Bird is the greatest small forward to ever play!
Goodass reaction. Bird was a beast
Bird is quite possibly the GOAT. For reals
Had a complete game. Also one of the greatest passers of all time. Check out his Bird Greatest passer of All time (re-edit) version. SUBBED!! More Bird!
Kareem, MJ, and Bird are the best ballers I ever saw play.
I watched basketball when Larry Played, all the time. Those games of that era are the best of all time. Haven't paid attention to NBA since the mid 90s...
@@RjDixonTV I have so much respect for the players that came up through that era. You did have to be tough and so many of them had great personalities. Team players, not me, me, me kind of guys. Well maybe Jordan but, he was Jordan, of course you give him the ball haha. Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson (a personal favorite of mine since he and I both served in the Navy), Clyde Drexler, Grant Hill, Reggie Miller. I mean I could keep going, but yeah, it just seems like the 80s and 90s NBA was a special time.
That’s when men played in the NBA......go check out Magic and Bird’s documentary on here. 👊👊🏾👊👊🏾 #Larrylegend
DUDE, LARRY BIRD NEARLY AVERAGED A TRIPLE DOUBLE FOR HIS CAREER! BTW, HE WAS 6-0 AGAINST JORDAN IN THE POSTSEASON. AND HERE IS A GAMEWINNER FROM BIRD IN JORDAN AND PIPPEN'S FACE: czcams.com/video/WoGmMx8Ejrw/video.html
Also, Alex English and Clyde Drexler were awesome 80s players too!
Ya I thought it was a travel too! This was my era. You would be so psyched about the playoffs that you were willing to take your life in your hands cuz there was no air conditioning in the garden. Worth it.
Larry wasn't just The Greatest Caucasian NBA Player ever . . . .
But Larry ""Legend"" is The NBA G.O.A.T. 🏀🏀🏀PERIOD🏀🏀🏀
Old enough to have seen him. One of my top five.
Dive into Larry Bird's videos man, you won't be disappointed!
Watch Larry Bird, greatest passer of all time.
By far... the best white boy who ever played. All due respect to Jerry West and Hondo etc.
Should see Larry Bird greatest passer of all time video re-edit. AMAZING. You won't regret it. IQ and vision of the charts. Thank you for the great reaction. Also Larry Bird trash talking is awesome video also.
Yeah his long passes are as accurate as f##k. His all round game is on point passing defending reading the game knows were everybody is at all times. Definitely top 5 all time in my humble opinion.
@@RjDixonTV Try his trashs talking video too all the legends talking about him. Making the case is another to try there is a few. Also check out white chocolate Jason Williams and Tom chambers. Top reaction pal slainte from ireland.
@@RjDixonTV Another gem is that Jordan never beat bird in the playoffs and had a record of 17 -11 against jordan too. I grew up watching bird and magic and it was their rivalry that saved basketball in the 1980s.

Larry Bird Trash Talking
Making the Case Larry Bird G.O.A.T
Larry Bird the Greatest Passer
- There is another great series out on CZcams called Making the Case. It features (I believe) the eight top contenders for the G.O.A.T.
Well there’s a great one titled “Making the Case Larry Bird.” It breaks down his stats and really makes the case why Larry Bird should be in the discussion for being the GOAT. Really a great series. Magic Johnson has one too. Jordan of course. But you should see the series at least, if you haven’t already.
Yes he is!
Bird ys a GOAT!
Larry was the Babe Ruth of basketball.
Larry Bird wasn't the most athletic player. Not even close. He didn't put up staggering career numbers. He wasn't a dunk machine. He wasn't a phenomenal defender. What Larry Bird did was elevate his TEAM. Bird was the best all-around player in the history of the NBA. He got his teammates involved and took a middle-of the pack team IMMEDIATELY deep into the playoff picture. Bird was an All-Star every single season of his career except for the year he only played 6 games because of surgeries on both feet. He won the league MVP award 3 consecutive years. He is only the 3rd player in league history to pull that off. He won the 3-point shootout the first 3 consecutive years. I could go on for hours, but all of this is readily researchable. The sheer number of his feats is STAGGERING. He LITERALLY did something every single game that would make you throw something in disbelief.
You had two 1v1 video games in the 80's... Jordan vs Bird and Magic Vs Bird.... No matter how you slice it, and all race aside, Bird is one of the greatest ever, period. It's always going to come down to that but any person can see it.
Best period.
You should watch some of his trash talking stories or the pain he played through
Bird isn't just the best White guy to play basketball, he's the greatest Small Forward to ever play. He's my #2 pick behind Jordan all time. Then Magic, then Wilt. Not sure who I take next because it doesn't matter with that team. PF is either Duncan, Barkley, KG etc. PF is easily the hardest position to pick. But Jordan, Bird and Magic are no brainers.
They say that Magic made the most simpliest shot look hard. And Bird made the most hardest shots look simple
He won 3 MVP in a row... against showtime Lakers, against the bad boy Pistons, Jordans Bulls, Ewing's Knicks, Drexlers Portland, , Xavier's Seattle, Wilkes' Atlanta, Robinsons Spurs, Barkley's Philadelphia, and Olajuwans' Rockets. 3 in a row. He won the 3 point contest, in his warmup jacket! He dropped 27 on Portland playing the entire game left handed! After 3 days of his rookie camp, he said out loud, on court, this league is nothing...I will dominate this league!! U just watched the real GOAT.
Larry Clutch Bird.
Rodman, after getting cooked by Bird in a game, said he'd be considered average if he were a black player. This insulted Bird, so he began telling the opposing player...the whole team -including the coach- what the last play was-with the game on the line, where he was gonna get it, & told them they couldn't do anything about it. And he was usually right. I mean, how many players tell you where they're going to take the game-deciding shot & challenge you to stop them?
Nowadays players play for the money, back then they played for the love of the game.
A reporter once asked Jordan "Not including yourself, in the history of basketball, who would you choose to take the game-winning shot at the buzzer?" Before the reporter could even finish the question, Jordan said "Larry Bird!" That should tell you all you need to know about LB!
He hit 3 shots. One to Tie and go to OT. Then another to Win and it was called off. Then he hit the game winner in 2OT.
I have to sub for this. It's like watching people discover Stevie Ray Vaughn playing guitar live, lol.
Bird is the only player apart from Magic that I saw that could take over a game on 7 shots.
Watch his best passes (the re-edit), and his "best match ever" in a finals game 6. The 60 point game is good too.
And absolutely watch "making the case" by Clayton.
Watch the Magic & Larry documentary - so worth it.
The Lakers - Celtics games were generally excellent throughout the 80's. However the Celtics - Sixers games from that era were epic games, even the regular season games had a playoff edge to them.
I don't watch much basketball these days, but I never failed to watch the old guys, back in the 80's where the referee's let the players work it out and usually they called only the flagrant fouls, and in some of the playoff games, the only called when they saw blood. Today, you can fart and get a foul and I think the old guys back then could be more than a match for the guys today if you played by their rules. Lebron was great, but nobody could measure up the the legend. Magic said ther would never ever be another Larry Byrd. Between Magic and Larry, these two guys along saved the NBA at a time when basketball was really flagging and viewing was way down, buy when these two guys faced off at the playoffs, you can bet the scalpers were getting a fortune for a ticket because if you look around at the arena, there is standing room only, and not a vacant seat in sight. It was truly a different era, the players were the greatest and the Celtics ruled the day. Some great ball was exhibited in those days. Getting old.

THAT'S why he is called "Larry Legend"... He is only player to beat all the tops in the playoffs during his era... Jordan's Bull had a losing season record (11-17) and were swept twice (0-6) in the playoff by Bird's Celtics... He is one of only 3 players (Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain) to win MVP 3 times in a row, and over an 8 year stretch he went 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st, 3rd, 2nd... With Jordan, Magic, Kareem, Dr. J and all the rest of the studs from the past, playing at the same time... I consider Larry to be in the top 3 all time... Just My Humble Opinion based on stats facts and actually watching him play since his last year at Indiana State until he retired from the Celtics...
I wish people would take race out of the equation. There are plenty mediocre black players in the league as well.
So the origin of showtime basketball is Pete Maravich. Bird and Johnson and Thomas watched Pete play. Pete was the best offensive player ever.
Take a look at the Tom Chambers highlight reel by TC 24 but review the one entitled “ The Dunk”
The NBA logo is Jerry West
There is precious little video but in his prime Arvydas Sabonis may have been the best big man ever Bill Walton called him a 7’3” Larry Bird.
Check out John Stockton as well.
Great reaction. I like to see young guys (and girls) go into these reactions with an open mind instead of immediately saying there’s no way they’re better than LeBron etc.
There's no question he's the greatest white player of all time. The question is, where does he stand as an all time player?
