This is some of the only Garcia-era NRPS footage I've ever seen. Jerry and Buddy are both great musicians, but I had not seen much Jerry footage on pedal steel. I remember that he had a pedal steel in his room, way back in 67, for the Hippie Temptation interview. Thanks for posting!

Less than 3 years after this date I saw The Dead with NRPS backing them up. Nice to see Garcia on the peddle steel. The bummer of this though is what went down at Kent State the day after this performance.
