My brother had a blue bengoo one that looked really similar to the one you tested, I kept telling him it was awful but he thought it was fine. Long story short I convinced him to get a Razer blackshark and he's never turning back lol
my little cousin (he lives next door) he has it for his nintendo switch lite (mostly for fortnite) his mom isn’t doing to good with money and he wants a better headset so for his birthday I brought him an astro a10 2nd gen

I was always curious about headset like these. One suggestion.. maybe do the stress test last LOL. Thought they were going to snap and you were going to have to hold them on your head for the rest of tests. You might have done that and edited it earlier, but it stressed me out.

Should review the vzr model one, has some crosswave tech that suppose to make it spacious for a closed back, not a lot of reviews on that and I'm curious

Nope. For some reason these trash gaming headsets have like really good mic’s. Very similar to the cooler master mh630 mic. But for how bad the comfort and the overall of the headset it’s not worth getting it although it has a good mic

The Blue bengoo one seems exactly like my Kotion Each one, just with a different logo. I got it for $35. That thing lasted me FOUR years! The reason I stopped using it was that the mic stopped working, and the plush parts started to fall out. Now I use the Razer kraken v3 X. Much better!

when i was a kid trying to make it big as a youtuber i remember buying a set of headphones and a trash headset that had a good mic, the amount of people asking for my specs was astounding despite the fact it was just the hottest garbage i could find at the time

The first gaming headset i ever got was the bengaloo lmao. Its was on a budget and I just needed audio. Suprisingly, they were really good. But now I bought the HD 569 so we'll see how that goes.

Id be curious to see you test a mpow air wireless. 27 bucks, same exact build as hyper x. Not terrible. Ive owned the arctis 1s you mentioned and instantly returned them. 20 dollar koss ksc75x's will beat every "gaming headset" up to probably $130+ in terms of sound and they have a built in mic

I’ve had the headset in blue for 6 years and they still work beautifully just a little to big for my head now but there still pretty good. I bought them for $50 back then.
I'll only buy Sennheiser's pc37x from now on. I got them back in 2018 and they are still perfect. The only problem I've had with them is the cord, which I replaced for $15. The durability is great as well, they've been ripped off my head about 50 times by my dog, smashing the floor.
love these vids, I have a runmus K8, so from experience, I can say they aren't the best for sound and comfort but for some reason, the mics on these headset always sound soooooo good, way better than my razer kaira and blackshark v2 pro wireless, way better than almost all expensive headsets
Well the reason the mic sounds better than the Kaira’s and the v2 wireless is cuz both of those are wireless and the runmus is wired so automatically it’s gonna sound slightly better, but yeah idk why these sound as good as they do.

I have a Razer BlackShark V2 X Wired, I swap to my Amazon chinese headset with a gibberish name when in mmos; where mic quality means a lot more than audio quality, and I have small ears so they are comfy... I've had steel series, razers, corsair and logitech headsets; all had meh at best microphones.

HELP TECHNE. I'm after a better sound experience over my arctic pro wireless.
I've got the creative g6. I've tried the sennheiser hd660s (Pro wireless picks up foot steps better and the open back sound stage picks up more of the ambient noise of gun shots and I find it ruins the imaging)
Sennheiser ie300 iem sound is amazing even picks up the little sounds I never normally hear like stuff rattling in the backpacks etc when player is moving. But when your in a gun fight etc alot noise going on its quite overwhelming. Also I find the iem uncomfortable after a while.)
I'm thinking about the penrose but I don't like a tight fitting headphone.) Have you ever reviewed the ath-m50x you recommend? I can't find the review. I like fps games esp pubg.

Just to note open backs aren't really good for my house as pc is in living room so I can hear the TV etc if someone is watching it.

I have a pair like this, it blocks out next to no sound, has pressure points at the top of the ears(it is worse because I wear glasses) everything in the audio blends together and is mushy, finally, it has very quiet audio
There's always so much garbage on Amazon. I've had a lot headsets in my time gaming, and if there is anything I learned, it's that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Great video Techne. This was a good laugh for me.

@@bl4ckIvy I’ve had probably every “big” headset ever made and it was just out of pure curiosity lol finally landed with the audeze penrose and they are the longest ones I’ve kept, truly an amazing sounding headset.

The one on the left was my first headset it was super cheap and was younger do I thought it was amazing for the price 😂

I own the bengoo headphones, and have for probably two years now. Last night I made a small impulse buy and got a pair of Razer Blackshark V2 X and woke up this morning worried on if I made a bad buy
After watching this review, I'm no longer worried lol. These cushioning on the headphones are literally falling apart (although that's because they're very well used, not because of the actual quality of the headphones)

i have the bengoo one, it's pretty good, the mic is great, i find them comfortable but they also are kind of cheaply made, and the bangoo volume control wheel and mic shut off wears faster than the headset part itself.

mics sounded decent, oddly cr@ppy mics is still a problem for budget and even mid priced headsets with the big brands.. so these could be okay if you are a raid leader or something where mic clarity matters more than audio.
I used the beexelent one for 6 months and replaced them with the hyperx cloudx and I'm never going back

I buy hyperx cloud and didnt like them so went back to this after 1 year use and still more better comfort and sound quality ,mic is good hyperx clampforce is annoying and didnt like the sound of it feels cheap
yeah , so literally this is all mostly opinions stuff , all the reviews for the G9000 say it has exceptional sound quality for it's price , except for this reviewer and everyone in the comments here who say it has bad sound quality and the hyperx cloud is better , EXCEPT for you and me who have listened to both and prefer the sound from the G9000?? :l .....

Try the Blacksharks V2...ultra comfortable...great sound...the mic is ok...best bang 4 ur buck

Probably because it makes no effort to filter out background noise. So while it results in less distortion, it also means every time someone in your house flushes the toilet or a car drives by everyone will be able to hear it.

Lol that’s bullshit. I bought one of these headsets five years ago and was using them for almost everyday until the mic broke a week ago. Then I heard this guy talking about the Steelseries headset. I bought it and that headset is so freaking uncomfortable, it’s squeezing my ears so much that I get headaches. The sound quality is similar to my cheap Amazon headset.
A branded 60$ headset doesn’t necessarily have to be better. You’re paying more than half the price for marketing and for content creators which get revenue by advertising those products.
