Ep. 63 Ask and You Shall Receive

Human Beings have limited capacity so we will always be confronted with challenges that need something beyond our actual ability. The Supreme Consciousness has created us this way to lead us towards surrender. The way out is surrender. We need to make our best efforts to overcome those weaknesses but if we always succeeded then we would become proud of ourselves and never surrender. So the Divine has given us limited strength so that we will be led eventually to the understanding that there is no other way except surrender. If we can we should trust that the Divine will look afterwards, but sometimes, in desperate situations, you need to cry out for help. The Supreme Consciousness, being infinitely powerful, is capable of helping but to get that help sometimes we at least need to mentally open to that, which, a lot of the time we are not. But if you think about this piece of advice (from Jesus), "Ask and You Shall Receive" it suddenly makes the whole situation look more hopeful. The extra power we need is always available from the Divine, and it will come from the Divine and nowhere else. This kind of humble attitude opens us up for the opportunity of receiving grace.
