    I wanted to come back and say that I had 4 interviews this cycle and got accepted into medical school (md). Thank you IFD for making this possible!

    This video made me better at CARS, holy cow! So, I've never scored above 124-125 on CARS because I always run out of time with >2 passages remaining, but that didn't happen yesterday. I got 45/53 on the AAMC sample test which apparently equates to a 128 with time to spare. And I was able to fix a flagged question in that extra time. You two are a godsend!

    needed the advice at the end- I take it personally when I can't figure out a C/P question and its my worst section because there's at least 1 or 2 passages I don't get to!!

    Hi, what should the timing charts look like for the other sections of the MCAT?

    • @InformingFutureDoctors
      @InformingFutureDoctors  Před rokem +2

      For the science passages (CP/BB/PsS) give yourself 4 minutes to read/flowchart the passage and 1 minute per question. Some questions will take you 30 seconds, some will take you 90 seconds. Just aim for a minute and it'll all work out!

    Not gonna lie... Eating 75 nuggets might be even more impressive than a 90th percentile MCAT score haha

      What about the 94 I ate the year after that?? No joke. It's my true calling.

    weird question but is it possible for me to complete individual passages from the sample test of do I have to do the whole thing?

    • @InformingFutureDoctors
      @InformingFutureDoctors  Před 9 měsíci

      You can skip through and do individual packages but unless they’ve changed it since I last looked at it, you have to reset the exam pretty much every time you wanna do a different passage if it’s in a prior section (going from BB to CP or whatever) it’s super annoying but you have infinite resets on AAMC!

    Hi. Is it advisable to take MCAT without taking biochemistry. I didn't realize it is 25% of the exam! Classes taken so far, gen chem, ben bio, org. chem, cell bio, immunology, anatomy, physics and genetics. Thanks.

      @InformingFutureDoctors  Před rokem

      I hate to say it, but biochemistry is kind of a mandatory for the MCAT:-/ I think lots of med schools require it anyway(?) so it’d be a good one to take if you can!
