  • This is just a quick update to let you know what's been happening this summer/early fall. I've been missing from both CZcams and IG, so I figured I'd let everyone know why.

I think burnout is a real deal, even with hiking and adventuring. When u feel like u have to go or have to do this or that, the blessing becomes a burden, and our perspective is thrown off. I find that applies to other areas of life as well, at least for me. Take ur time and do what feeds ur soul friend. Good to see ya alive & healthy!

That's where I was on AT everyday. Lol. You did a lot the last couple years. Go easy on yourself and take a break Greg.

Well just my personal 2-cents, but the main problem I’m hearing from you about not enjoying it is pressure and goals you are creating yourself. I don’t know the specifics of where you were, but you usually don’t HAVE to do x miles, or reach x-goal marker. That’s self-created pressure. I’d get out of that mindset and just HIKE. Just walk and look around, stop to take it in whenever you feel like it, camp where you feel like it and just be present wherever you are.
