- People loved my video on the O'Cedar Spin Mop almost as much as the mop itself. Will lightning strike twice? In this video, I will unbox and try out the new two chamber spin mop which give you a consistently clean water reservoir. I for one have high hopes for this mop and bucket...

Thank you for your slow explanation of the spin mop.
You presented it so naturally.
I am a senior citizen and usually see videos are swift and to the point.
Your conversation is very natural.
YES I THANK HIM TO IN JESUS NAME.
After watching this video Paul , I showed it to my wife and explained how it would make her life easier.
She looked at it and told me what I should do with it . 😂😂😂😂😂
You just can’t help some people.
Have a great day .
But you had to try, didn’t you!!
@@annrogers8129 AHAHHAHAHA. No such luck. hahahahahah.
Fantastic!
Exactly! There is NO CLEAN RINSE unless you pour out the cleaning solution and refill the reservoir with plain clean water to RINSE the floor!
Thanks for your time as always Lee
Really interesting take on a task I dread. Might have to try this. Thanks, Paul!
I LOVE mine! The trick to keeping the fresh water extra-clean is to allow only a mop-full of water into the reservoir each time, then close it. If I was mopping something gross, I would use an extra bucket of water to rinse in. But I don't have pets and take my shoes off at the door, so my floors are never all that dirty. I also use this mop to wash baseboards and walls. I love its small size, to really get into corners and tight spaces.
I have had the old one for a couple of years and I liked how it worked. I bought this on over the weekend Wal Mart had it for $32 I haven't taken it out of the box yet but after watching your video I'm sure I'll like it as it seems to cut down on changing the water as much
Thank you
I love the mop too. It really makes mopping easy. My fav😊
Took your advice, and spent the extra 15 bucks or so to get the clean water chamber version like you have instead of just the regular spin mop bucket. My daughter wanted a spin mop for Christmas actually.. my 23 year old daughter. 🤣Love it. Cant WAIT to give it to her the day after tomorrow. Shes has never seen this version, so I think shell be even more excited....about her mop....🤣🤣Thats literally adorable. But just wanted to pop in the comments real quick to say thanks so much for your review! They really do make a difference and help people. My daughter has you to thank for getting not just a mop but mop 2.0 . LOL VERY SWANKY! INDEED 👌🏻😁 You rock! Thanks again!
P.S. Tell the people picking on your feet to stop being a-holes...they dont wanna see em..then geted an idea.. how bout....LOOK AT THE ACTUAL ITEM HES REVIEWING THEN INSTEAD OF STARING AT HIS FEET! ! TA-DAH! Problem solved. 🙌🏻😌
Found one on the side of the road a few weeks ago. It looked like it was used once. Bought a new mop head and tried it out. Hated it so I sold it. I went out and bought the original.
Very nice paul
Great Info .
Seems like a decent system for everyday mopping Paul. For anything really gross, use your original mop bucket for clean water and use this one for cleaning/emptying the mop. Maybe slight overkill but it's not everyday that you're cleaning-up anything too lumpy.👍😁
This is exactly what I thought too!!
Thankyou for the review and information of the new mop, my husband just got this one for me tonight. I can't wait to try it out, its a great concept. I lost my father will be 2 years tomorrow and your like the spitting image of my father, and it brought me joy watching you, Thankyou.
Wow. What a great compliment. I'm sorry your Dad had to move on - I just lost my Mom, so I know how you feel. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Let me know what you think of the new mop...
So, it's been a minute since getting the mop and I do really like it Alot. It's easy to use and definitely a breeze to clean up. I figured I'd come back and let you know my critique of it. It's definitely a good mop! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 5 thumbs up! ❤
That is a beautiful kitchen, i sweep and Swiffer before i mop.
Thanks for the video!
Is it difficult to clean the bucket when you're done mopping with the multiple system bucket?
No. The clean water tank lifts right out so you have full access to the dirty bucket. I did hear someone complain about keeping the clean water tank, well, clean. We just rinse the the inside with hot water, wash the outside and never have any trouble. The dirty bucket, just dump and rinse or wash as needed....
For the dirty spills you mention (i.e. vomit), first i would mop it with the clean water, then i would spin it to get as much of the dirt into the dirty container, and then would continue with dipping it into the clean water to do the rest of the floor
I ordered mine of ebay and cant wait to get it delivered im keep the same spine bucket i have just incase the one buck peddle brakes on me
Does the blue lid come off? So it can dry properly, i can't figure that part out. I dont want mold developing
I love my spin mop!!!
RIGHT?!?!??!?!?
I'm laughing because this is typical man not reading the directions 😂 the instructions are right on the box, with pictures.
Cannot get my mop handle to lock. Does it keep the clean water separate?
Thank you for adding the EasyWring RinseClean to your cleaning toolkit and sharing your feedback :)
No, no. Don’t be proud and give yourselves a little pat on the back.
“I can’t stand this mop bucket. O Cedar created something great to mop your floors with that’s easy to use but the time you saved with this system you are going to spend cleaning the “clean water” compartment because its so hard to clean. You gotta be thorough with it because if not mold and mildew will grow inside of the bucket. So much for “clean water”. Wtf.”
I am going to return this to Home Depot. It costs me more trouble than what its worth.
@@AlejandroRodriguez-nf8xc We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We will share your thoughts with our product team!
You're welcome! Your first easy wring sold me so when I saw this one I knew I had to try it! I have 7 dogs who leave every kind of nasty stuff on the tile, so this mop really gets a workout and we love it...
@@pauly7218 We are thrilled that you are enjoying the RinseClean! Happy Cleaning!
I love chihuahua and boxer. LOL, 😆😅🤣the instructions are on the bottom of the box.
need the swivel to the tip of the handle like the old one
What about the new iRobots Do you have a review?
The mop head is very small and so is the two areas where the clean water and the mop goes into in order to spin it dry. The old one is much larger. The benefit of this one is the dirty water being separated from the clean water, however, there’s a hack to do the same with the old one using a Lowes bucket.
All very true, but I still find it makes quick work of our floors. I guess for a real mess I probably would still add in a secondary bucket. Thanks for the comment!!1
Smaller mop head, smaller water reservoir and you fill water up more and you are still putting a dirty mop in water and wringing it out so I don't think it's that much different. A little gimmicky if you ask me.
You need to close the clean side valve after adding water, when you put the dirty mop into it, otherwise you contaminate the clean water.
That's best practice, the only time you could get away with leaving it open is if the clean water tank is full so the direction of flow doesn't back up.
@@dubmob151 You can't leave it open at all, if you want clean water for the mop. Because even if the clean tank is more full, it will all slow into the mop side until they even up and then they mix.
@@Resist4 that's why you can only get away with it when the water tank is full and the pickup area is lower so the water goes down to the lower area. Only for that short period of time.
If you put a valance on all your windows it would make a huge difference
I'm sold! 🎉
We recently bought a robot vacuum/mop but still use this hand mop ever day! LOVE IT!!!
Your kitchen and dining room is the same size as my 1 bedroom apartment.
Are your floors laminate or hardwood? I worry the spin mop will buckle my laminate flooring. What's your thoughts?
My floor is actually tile. This mop can be wrung out really dry by spinning it fast - I think it would be fine, but you have the wood floors so you would know best.
This one I bought at Sam’s. Three cleaning microfiber heads. No way to keep the water clean
So did Reggie make you clean the entire kitchen?
No, and don't give her any ideas!
Once you mop, and put the mop head back in the "fresh" water to continue mopping, you are putting a dirty mop head into the clean water correct???
NOPE! That is the genius of this system. The fresh water section only holds enough water to soak up the mop head 1 time, then refills itself while you mop with brand new fresh water!!!!! When you wring out the dirty mop, the dirty water goes into a separate dirty water section. It is actually very ingenious. Fresh cleaner/water every time you return!
@@pauly7218 So you can literally rinse the dirty mop head first, wring it, and then after the mop is cleaned, you can use clean water to mop right?
@@pauly7218 This was my issue, too. I would spin the used mop before putting it in the "clean" water like he did. That said, I just bought the old O-Cedar system that I'm about to unbox and will be using my old standard mop bucket to rinse.
@@pauly7218 I disagree. I think putting the Dirty mop in clean reservoir...over and over..maybe a "little" cleaner but not worth the smaller mop head and smaller reservoir. I owned this for one day. Had to fill it up 3 times to mop my kitchen. Just mop weekly, don't wear your shoes in your house and change your water when it looks dirty. No magic people, it's work.
I got the one o cedar turbo mop and bucket and I only have it bout 6 months it is good but now I seen this one but no I’m not buying it now as I’ve seen a better one it’s da imop it’s good seen it work on iTube and I’m going to get it soon
"Lights out, Lights out in London..."
I wanna like these things but i keep breaking the pedal
Where is the clean rinse water???
The blue thing at the top is a seal, separate chamber that holds the clean water. It automatically fills the one side with just enough water to load the mop and then the other side spins it and the dirty water falls through to the bucket below. Genius!
the manual or directions are on the bottom of the box that you threw away, lol
I got one of these, but I don’t think it spins out enough water. The mop is still quite wet, even after repeated spins. I prefer using the spray mop.
I have found I can control the way the mop comes out, wet or dry. If I want a pretty wet mop I step on the pedal lightly and only a time or two. To get it really dry, Mash that peddle fast and a number of times and you will be surprised how dry the mop gets. Certainly, your milage may vary....
I found the mop head to be too small. Did anyone else feel like you were working too hard to cover much area?
I can 100% understand that point but for ME, I dig it as I can get in to the hard to reach spots. Super maneuverable. I really do hear you though...
It was a little small. But I could handle that. What bothered me is that it didn’t seem to be fluffy enough with enough mop fibers… For lack of a better word. The plastic part kept hitting the floor like nails on a chalkboard. Otherwise I like the product just fine
I tried to give you a thumbs up but it won't respond like a touch screen I don't know if it's your channel or something is wrong on this side. so personally 👍
You seem to put the dirty mop right into the clean water. That would make the clean water no longer clean.
How it seems and how it is are two differant things! The clean water is self contained, and the dirty water NEVER touches it! It is genius!
@@pauly7218 But you took the mop from the floor to the clean bucket. That was after you mopped twice.
@@helloworld5182 It is hard to explain. Each time you wet the mop, it sucks up a measured amount of water in the clean side. When you remove teh mop, the clean side refills itself again with another measured amount of clean water. When you ring out the mop, the dirty water drops into a separate area of the bucket. Yes, there is still some contamination but short of washing the mop head and refilling the bucket after every pass there isn't really anything better. If I'm worried about the cleanliness of the mop head or the new water, I will rinse/wring, then rinse wring again.
My mop head flips then drags the plastic on its side. Frustrating.
Newsflash: with a mop full of 'vomit' going back in to your 'fresh' reservoir, you are completely contaminating ALL of your clean water including the inside of the 'fresh' reservoir container. You might want to consider trying this tip, which you won't find on the box's instructions: Take your 'vomit' or other 'chunky-covered' mop over to your toilet bowl, insert mop head into a clean bowl of water, agitate a bit to loosen chunks, and then flush once or twice while continuing to agitate the mop head in the rushing water. You could even introduce a splash of cleaning fluid by the second or third flush. Guaranteed a way cleaner mop head than what you'll get from the little rinser/spinner on the O'Cedar...
This is all contingent of course, on your toilet bowl being fairly clean for the most part. (If your turlet bowl is all nasty and crusty, then just forget this suggestion and go back to your plastic mop bucket...)
Finally, you can reintroduce your now freshly/thoroughly rinsed and 'vomitless' mop head back into the soapy dipper part of your O'Cedar Spin Mop set up, and carry on, knowing that you've spared the plastic interior parts of your mop system's aquatic ecology from 'vomit' or whatever other nastiness you might encounter on your cleaning adventures...
Just a thought; keep the real nastiness for the bowl... ;)
BTW, I've had one of these for few months, and the young cleaning/home assistant gals that the local senior service send over here can rarely figure out how it works, I have to explain it to them step by step, and sometimes they still don't quite get it... ;)
I can’t stand this mop bucket. O Cedar created something great to mop your floors with that’s easy to use but the time you saved with this system you are going to spend cleaning the “clean water” compartment because its so hard to clean. You gotta be thorough with it because if not mold and mildew will grow inside of the bucket. So much for “clean water”. Wtf.
I'm not sure where the difference is as we have never had mold grow in our clean tank, and we leave water and cleaner in it daily, so we can mop up quickly. Do you just fill with plain water? Do you keep it in the sun? Anyhow, sorry you have had a bad experience....
How about you just take your dirty mop and put it in your sink and run clean water and get all the vomit down the drain and then over into the bucket to get soapy water on the mop and ring it out and wash the floor .
1st time viewer- Gross you mention VOMIT to mop. GROSS WHY. Turn off. Instructions on bottom of box. What a Reviewer - do some research 1st.
