You have been very unjust with Pius XII. It's better to study more about the Hokocaust - matter. Don't you know what he haa done for the jews? Don't you know what happened to the jewish Christians in the Netherlands after the letter of the bishops? So, please, correct those words about Pius XII.!
Pius XII was placed in an impossible situation. If he spoke against Hitler he guaranteed a bloodbath of the Roman Catholics that would guarantee NO safety to the Jews either. He shuffled tens of thousands of Jews thru the Vatican, rubber-stamping fake visas and shipping them out in droves past Mussolini's nose. His amanuensis, probably the most politically powerful nun in the history of the church, worked hand in glove with him to save as many Jews as possible without the government of Fascist Italy being the wiser. Why this amazing story isn't told is beyond me.
So i guess the catholic church dont save the 700 million jews from Germany?

John 12?! Dude by my reckoning this pipe was not very good. If I'm not mistaken he led a very dissolute life. I'm a RC, btw. There have been some awful popes. Why? Because nothing in the hand of man escapes corruption. Nothing controversial about Venerable Pius XII. He had to do what he could covertly. If he spoke out loud against the nazis, they would have occupied the Vatican.
Not only that, he could have sealed the fate of German Catholics as well as the Jews in in Nazi occupied territories

St Peter was not a pope, he was apostle and Orthodox Christian
St Leo was a pope and Orthodox Christian - there was no roman Catholicism back then

Archeologist Margherita Guarducci discovered the remains of a man over 60, without his feet, wrapped in royal purple but buried in a tomb UNDER the Vatican. And the tomb's 1st century graffiti just happened to say Petrus Enni ( here is Peter). We know the truth my brother. But for a great read, read her story!!!

@@raymondvasquez6967 Dr. Guarducci was not without her detractors. At the time male archeologist were not happy that she made this find. But later DNA sequencing did confirm that the man-;between 56 and 75, was middle Eastern. Subsequent claims by other archeologists are not all that convincing.
