Hey Jordan, I use Messicks for my Kubota parts. Excellent service! Just be glad that you didn't puncture the oil pan. Our Kubota 45HP Rental Tractor has been down for months because of that. 2 Wrong oil pans from Kubota, then in order to replace the Oil Pan we had to remove the front axle, and in the process of that, there is a slip yoke connector on that back of the drive line that ties to the Transmission Diff. and of course that fell off inside the casing, - we just about had to split the tractor in two to fix it! Take care and be safe.
I used to work as a mechanic for a kubota dealer and this is precisely why I will never buy a kubota. I have had to work on kubota and seen the quality of their products. I own a Yanmar. I find them to be much better tractors.
Make sure the fuel line you replaced it with will handle the fluid going through it, not the pressure but some fluids cause the rubber to break down and develop a leak. Also I would get some expanded metal to cover that open area because you might want air flow under the tractor. Things to consider.... I used to work as a mechanic for a kubota dealer. BTW I own and recommend Yanmar tractors when you look at replacing the kubota. Yanmar made John Deere tractors for years and Yanmar is known for their reliability with a 10 year powertrain warranty.
Hello Jordan things happen nice repair. I've took a piece of hose cut it length wise and put over sharp edges that a hose may come in contact with. Have a great day.
Jordan...I agree with an added plate...but just be sure to drill some holes to allow 1)air circulation, and 2) fluid/water drain capability?!?....just sayin' ....great repair thinking ahead on you👍‼️
Hey Jordan buddy ,you must of thought ya had a Catepillar D9 Dozer. Your "kubogy" got wounded in action by your aggressive "Ramming-Speed" Enterprises. I like the "sledgehammer " technique for " tweeking" everything back to proper specifications. It most likely is time for some skid plates, brush grill-guard, and some "Armor Plateing-Re-enforce-a-lators". It is always fun to fix my "kubogy" MX5200 before it gets all "Bust-a-lated". Keep up the good werk & fabrications. Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy tractoring.

I got my kubota l4060 right after you did I did get the cab on mine but I would be sick if I did that knowing how much I paid for it I hate to put 1st scratch on it but I guess that's why we have them. I did put grill guard on mine it is a nice one paid $300 something but I figured you break the headlights and they will be cheap. Also liked that I got too see what underneath my tractor looks like Have a good week
I'm not worried about the scratches just the dents and broken pieces. I think I will just make a grill guard. It's not too hard and way cheaper. Thanks
That was great Jordan would use some skid plates and modify and paint gray to match maybe off the junk Toyota or just scrap laying around nothing thick I have seen you do before after all no one sees it but you.
Your video just taught me a valuable lesson. I am going to fabricate and mount my own plate to cover that pump. I just bought a 2022 L4060 Le - Same tractor you own. Thanks for this video. I think I am going to drill some holes in the main frame and install some Nutserts and just bolt on a 1/8" Aluminum plate for the occasional stick that wants to ram up there. lastly humble acres - you should order a 511designz grill guard for your expensive machine. I know exactly what you paid for that machine - fellow 4060le owner hah -- I subbed to your channel - Keep the content coming man!
I really like hoe you rerouted those hydraulic lines to keep them more out of the way. For those sharp edged you can get some edge trim to reduce the sharpness if needed as well. I'm going to have to check on my new 4060 how they routed the lines.
@@HumbleAcres One of the hoses had a sheath that looked like a bit of carpet, so if you have any old carpet lying around, you could wrap a piece of carpet around the frame and just tie it on with zip ties. Cheap fix if you have old carpet lying around of course.
Awesome job on attitude and repair! Please tell me, what are the larger size wrenches you need to work on your tractor? Sizes greater than 18/19 mm and 3/4, 7/8 inch. Thanks for all your videos!
Jordan, go to the nearest Kwik-e Mart and buy as many Lotto Tickets you can afford ! -- You have to be the luckiest guy around -- You're bound to win the $8.4 B !!! -- 🤣🤣🥾🥾🥾🤣🤣 --- Good Luck !

I was going to look at Yanmar but there are no dealers close to me. Thanks
Done the same running over scrap Lumber instead of moving it ,backing up and take out a hose on the forklift
How many times I have done the cowboy thing, and broke something, must be a man thing.😊
Charge of the Light brigade. LOL.
Good job fixing it Jordan.
I need to be more careful. I just hate the down time. Thanks!
Any line near a metal edge you can take a rubber hose and cut it length way a slide it on the metal edge. Helps chaffing.

Thanks for the tip!
yes fit a good steel plate to cover that pump or it will cost a fortune if that gets damaged

I will probably be doing this in next weeks video. I have some more issues.

I have always wanted a bull dozer. Maybe I'm treating the Kubota a little to much like one. I would love a D9!

per spec- 3rd lines are supposed to go on top of the frame rail - suspect dealership didn't install correctly? Good Catch
Add a plate , before it happens again. But nice job.
I have now added it. Will be in next weeks video.

Dropped a link. Personally thinking about getting it. I got a 4060LE.
Pretty careless bit of designing on Kubota's part. Much improved. ✓ I would definitely put in a plate under the power steering pump. 👍
I have now. Will be in next video.
You can also get metal zip ties and wider . Or get clamps that you can re-use .

I'm thinking young man you better get a backhoe attachment
I am looking into other options to finish it up this spring.

Kubota design fail on that one for a number of reasons. You got lucky there
The more I work on it the more I am finding.

In the video next week I use a 22mm and 15/16 wrench and a 26mm socket.
Nice property....how many acres do you own?
Thanks 18 acres
@@HumbleAcres Thanks for the reply
How come your front tires are on backwards
The theory is that reversing with a heavy load in the loader they will give better traction. For me that is usually when I need the traction.
@@HumbleAcres okie dokie I was just curious.

@@jaygee999 I'm fine the tractor isn't.
Put a metal cover over the opening

Pretty flimsy tractor to be using it to clear trees.
yep need to be careful.
Silly Boy! Did you check the Hydraulic Fluid level after repairs?
Yes I did thanks
Someone should let him know his front tires are on backwards. And he needs to buy a bulldozer for knocking down trees.
Kubota is a cheap yard tractor. Get a Deere or a Case IH.
I feel like they all have their flaws. This is the only one I have been able to use a lot though.
Kubota isn’t a cheap tractor by any means…in fact they out perform JD in many ways! Even tanks break if you push them beyond there intended limits!
