    Thank you for this. Everything else I’ve looked at about results day 2022 has been so stressful to listen to, but you’ve really helped calm me down!

    its so reassuring to learn you dont HAVE to call them as i have massive anxiety and i'm going to be so nervous tomorrow. i think i'll meet the requirements for my course, but have decided i dont want to take this course anymore. the course i want to go on is kinda niche so i think they'll accept me anyway. but i have no idea. im very nervous. tysm for this video! it made me feel a lot better

    This is a very helpful video ! You'll probably talk about it in your next video, but it would be interesting to know why you chose to try again for Oxford, rather than accept an offer from another university- obviously you made the right choice !

    I have no idea whether or not I will be in clearing, because I am unsure about my abilities. The one thing I do know is that Sam arrives gallantly when we need him most. I wish you could hold my hand because it is so scary 😭😭😭

    Hi,
    Sorry if I’m disturbing I want to ask what if don’t get good a levels grades because after not being anymore positive of covid I wasn’t in the condition and I didn’t perform well my exams but two year ago I’ve done btec and I got DMM would they take me in consideration for foundation year chemical engineering?
    Do they in consideration background,situation and grades?
    Last question I want to ask if there are a lot of people applying for chemical engineering or low?

      Did you submit extenuating circumstance form after you did your exams?

    I’ve never applied to any university on ucas but I’ve decided I want to go through clearing 2022, do I submit an application first or do I call the uni first?

    • @Sam.Kramer
      @Sam.Kramer  Před 2 lety +1

      You might need a UCAS id to tell the unis over the phone

    I did a gap year and I am hoping for a B in my maths a level this year.
    I am offered an AAB for Exeter and I have A, A, C, C grades in three a levels and an EPQ respectively from sixth form prior to my gap year.
    If I get a C in maths tomorrow, do you think it would be possible for me to call up Exeter on the day and inquire about receiving my place as I have a lot of UCAS points already?
    I have seen the same course (economics and finance with a placement year) on clearing in previous years for about 110 UCAS points before.
    Thanks for the great video, sorry for the strange question I’m just not sure who else to ask!

    What if you didn’t get any offers from the university that you have chosen and you take a gap year and change your mind on the course you want to take but your personal statement i.e You wanted to do Adult nursing and based your personal statement on that but want to get into Veterinary nursing will you have to make a new personal statement or a whole new account or will they still be able to accept even if your personal statement is based on a different course?

    I need to EXACTLY WANT KNOW WHERE IS THE 'ADD CLEARING CHOICE' button?!?! It says in help and videos and says just click on the 'add clearing choice' button. Where is it? So frustrating!!!😠How do you get the clearing number ??!! How do you get there??!!

    • @Sam.Kramer
      @Sam.Kramer  Před rokem

      I don't think it's a special button, it's just adding a choice. Don't worry about Clearing Choice

    Do universities lower their typical entry requirements when clearing? In a university website it said 96 ucas points for a course and when I got the conditional offer letter, it said 72 ucas points.

    When will UCAS update to show if there’s spaces in a certain course after people reject their offers or don’t meet the requirements?
