When I first played this I just picked the Aventador by gut feeling and picked AT as my first car ever. Right now I have no idea what to do but grinding upgrade points while practicing; I have 5 points for fight tuning and for most of the time I put 4 points on handling and sometimes even all 5. Should I go for a new Aventador with MT, go for a completely different car or keep on practicing? Can you upload a guide for Aventador? Please? (Sorry for the long comment)
Ben Skywalker Firstly, complete all of the story. Max out your car first so you have the full advantage of power and handling controls. I’m not able to play WMMT currently to make a video on the Aventator however I did briefly used it when I borrowed someone’s car in Japan. It seemed to handle very differently than from the likes of Japanese imports in that it had more grip than what I expected from a European car. If you’re familiar with your Aventator then keep using it. Feel free to have a secondary car (Rx8, Rx7 FD, GT86, Evo8-9 come to mind) and get a feel for that if you like. Personally I would recommend the Rx8 because it’s a great handling car and does well in battles too.

Thanks for the tips, great video! I've done Hakone a few times in my awesome 550HP clunker with no boost or whatever those meters are. I'm so bad I've barely improved my time. But it's fun trying different ways to rotate the car and seeing what happens. And wrestling with the gearshift is always entertaining.
I got 1st on 2 of the wangan area course and yokohane Got 4th on C1 Got 6th on Nagoya Got 2nd (i think) on fukuoka Got 10th on hiroshima Got 3rd on mt taikan Got 5th on osaka Its was really good to do all of those TAs especially wangan and yokohane, i use my Supra for all of this and it is amazing
This is just a recommendation but, those referencing tips you mentioned is very useful and applicable. I would like to see more "references" to improve more on TA, I think it's very helpful.
The point is with referencing is that it can be anything. For example, an unfamiliar track you’re racing on. You guess how to take a corner, so the next run you find something as an anchor point, like a sign or markings on the road. Then next you experiment with the timing of how far you are to ref. point. Then it’s a case of memorising that timing for the next run

usually when i do Mt Taikan downhill(the one with the toll gates and town), i do alot of inertia drifts, i have learnt that if you do just the right amount of "heel-toe" (possible if you have played for a while) the car will naturally correct itself when it snaps back. Thats a tip you guys can try too.

Govin Lock I am pleased the video helped you dude. We all have our own styles, pros and cons coming with it, however if it works for you then keep going for it. I will be honest the R34 took sometime getting used to as I had to turn a fraction of a second sooner and change my style a little, but it’s popular with players so covering that was vital. Keep at it and wish you the best in future runs
Its do-able, but hard because your car would likely change gear mid-corner and you could be on half throttle on a gear change when you should be on full power... making it a loss in speed.
Depends which RUF you mean. Old RUF has the same size profile and handling of the Fairlady 240z and Toyota AE86. Newer RUF's tend to favour Top Speed over handling but are better handling that some of the US cars. Refer to my throttle control video for more help = czcams.com/video/_JAgnVrQPlY/video.html

Hey Sibbers. I had very briefly driven the Aventador on Hakone when in Japan a year ago, from what I remember the car seemed to grip more than most of the other cars o.0. It through me in a loop a little because it meant my timings had to change. I am definitely not a pro hahaha but good news is that I will be in Australia to maybe play a bit of the game again and if I get the chance I'll borrow an Aventador and see how it handles.
Hmmm, I've never used shifting down early to lose speed as a way of doing time attack so I can't really say if its good or bad. However, I wouldn't recommend shifting up mid-drift as firstly it would kill more your speed in the corner, it would throw you off balance and you would need to focus on the exit of the corner to keep up a good smooth rhythm in time attack.
I’ve no idea how it handles in WMMT6 but the R35 in WMMT5DX the GTR handles best with top speed. Whereas RX-7 and RX-8 are great examples for technical tracks like Hakone

i see people who dont brake and just shift down to "lose" speed and shift up mid drift to "maintain" speed while drifting idk i could be wrong
