CMM SCANNING & STYLUS WEAR

If you are already using the CMM then this video would be very useful to maintain the measurement Accuracy. Specially when you are scanning the parts with ruby stylii.
There are challenges while using rubi material for the continuous scanning. The major challenge is of a wear of ruby ball. It leards to bad sphericity or form error. The larger the form error the values of accuraies and repeatability are large. Sometimes it is very difficult to identify the errors with naked eyes.
