Isn’t she at least a PR? Before the birth of her kids, she chose to marry and live in Singapore.
Even with a divorce, even without care and control, she still has custody of her children or at the very least visitation rights.

The courts can usually vary visitation if you request it and it is deemed in the best interest of the children.
My friend has to shares custody with foreign ex spouse but he gets restricted visitation (as in supervised visitation without her present) because things got so bad between them.
The reason, might be the loser husband didn't want to apply PR for her despite their marriage status. As a matter of fact, She must thank that LOSER for making her who she is today, good riddence for her that LOSER is gone for good; she now have a better life and go on the next chapter. 😊❤

What have actually happen, we are not sure. This is one sided accusation. How accurate her words towards the actual incident is yet to be verify by the partner. So, we should keep out of these married break up. Yes, it can be very sad to knows what had been claim. But need to be fair to all parties. The person that have brought these story into mass media should understand the outcome.

I am a native Singaporean empathetic to your story. Be strong move on for the the children sakes. I apologize on behalf of the Singaporean men bad treatment towards their foreign wife. This is because we had seen many were cheated by the ferocious Chinese wife. So the experience might really given some married men wrong ideas towards their China wife. However, not all are bad, some China wives are really good faithful and treated their in law filial and sincerely. Lisa, you are one of them hope you have a good chance in your marriage again.
Cheated as in being demure and gentle while on courtship, and being ferocious after marriage OR being cheated by having affairs with other men? I think it's the 1st since I heard chinese women are capable and if their husbands don't bring home the bacon, they goad the men to improve, so quarrels are inevitable. I don't think it's the 2nd one because they don't indulge in having relationship with other men except their husbands, , compared to some of our Filipino women here, which i heard many stories of from the TV, are promiscuous when their husbands are away from home

Don’t really wanna say this but my wife is from China and has been in Singapore for more than 15 years with a pink IC (even before we got married). Although she speaks Singlish, her Chinese is still very China sounding and would criticise our Chinese standards. She would always say Singaporean this and that, etc. Honestly, all of them still regard China as their motherland I don’t know why they take up citizenship! I did ask her to go back to China a number of times as well I don’t see what’s wrong with that.
I think they have problem differentiating Chinese (race) and Chinese (nationality) because she will always say we Singaporean Chinese are also 中国人 and we got into a number of heated argument because of that. I am not specifically anti-China but I feel if you really want to insist, my Grandfather was a Malaysian so I can be considered 1/4 Malaysian but I have no connection or whatsoever to China except for my race!
China people seems to think that Taiwanese and Singaporean Chinese are arrogant but from what I see I don’t think Taiwanese are arrogant at all! I believe this is due to us not admitting we are 中国人, and it means we look down on them. But what the hell?! 我是华人，不是中国人。我是新加坡人！
