Fun fact: Mackenzie and Papineau are the name of the heroes of the rebellion of 1837, William Lyon Mackenzie was the leader of the Upper-Canada rebels and Louis-Joseph Papineau was the leader of the Lower-Canada rebels. Those heroes are mainly celebrated in Quebec due of the fact that this rebellion was against the british mornachy and mainly in Quebec where people doesn't really care about the monarchy or don't like it.

Представьте какую храбрость надо иметь, чтобы сражаться против фашистов и за идею в другой стране, иногда даже языка не зная на котором говорят жители этой страны... Жаль конечно что в итоге сложилось для испанцев всё не лучшим образом, если бы было бы всё иначе, то испанцы бы защищали Ленинград, а не окружали! Испанцы бы сражались бок о бок с советским солдатом как под Мадридом!
