George practically had another heart attack upon seeing Brenda again. Also, my heart broke for Missy when she thought that she caused George to collapse.

I think they should make another show with the baby and Mandy and young George and the mom marrying the young preacher she liked. Let George come back as a ghost. Emma back as well.
@@elisaarevalo6810Missy was angry that day cause her ex-boyfriend just dumped her, and she couldn’t take it as she actually loved him at the time of dating of him. However, she was shouting in anger at her parents when they tried to talk to her. And Missy says she never gets the attention. At least her parents tried to console her. My parents would just ignore me and let me weep.
I think Missy’s breakup was the least of George’s worries. The thing was he was drinking too much alcohol with Brenda, developed romantic feelings for her, and then, under the influence of alcohol, thought about hanging out with her, but got a heart attack.
And now he's gone. Seven years couldn't hace prepared me for this moment

I think he would still be 13 after returning from Germany with Mary, and George probably did more bonding with Brenda over that time. Sucks because is Sheldon was still 13 at the time, it probably was very close to his birthday, and then we know George dies when Sheldon is 14.

Mary should have died or been annexed. She is the reason why Sheldon has little to no social skills. Not cause he maybbe autistic or because he may have aspurgers. YS showed us Mary is the reason Sheldon missed a lot of milestones of growing up. George never claimed to be good or smart, he was just doing his best. Mary acted like she was Mary Magdeline but was actually a Judas. I wish they would retcon this and make George Sr. alive but distant or have a new family. But they used the new better family for Howards Dad.

Me and my son just started to watch it on Netflix.... I think we got 5 or 6 episodes left of season 1. So we got so much more to watch together. I had no clue about the show. My son recommended it for us. Now we both absolutely love it. Watching this video I can't believe how much they've grown. Really is an amazing show.

The way they have changed Sheldon's life/family makes me think that YS is set in another Universe from TBBT. In TBBT MeeMaw is From Oklahoma, In YS she's from Texas. So I say don't kill off George Sr.

What episode
This is what I don't get about 'Young Sheldon.'. It'd be one thing if he suddenly keeled over as 'Big Bang' implies but here, he'd already had two heart scares that were seemingly swept under the carpet, with no attempt from either George himself or Mary to make him lose some weight, change his diet, cut down on the beer, take some exercise and so on. Even if he fell off the wagon, you'd think the show would have him make _some_ effort, particularly with a wife and three kids depending on him. I never understood how they just breezed past it all.

Even though he hasn't cheated yet, sadly he will because of how Sheldon is relating the story from TBBT
Even sadder is the reason why Sheldon knocks on doors three times and is a little OCD about it is a result of George Sr. and his infidelity
Sheldon does it as a way of coping and helping keep a veil of ignorance because he already knew what was going on between George Sr. and Brenda when he finally catches them in the act
