4:03 I think he said "Oh, buoy!" which could be a double meaning for "Oh, boy!" and "Oh, phooey!" because he bumped into the buoy!
These bumpers are part of my earliest childhood memories.

Holy insane cow! For some strange reason I couldn't get these out of my head! I haven't seen these since I was 3 years old! I was born in 1988 and am now going to be 26 on the 17th of this month. Makes me want to cry. Thought I'd look these up and
reminisce. It's weird how I can remember little stuff like this way back when I was 3! Thank you so much for posting this! :)
lol ^
yo I feel the same way I always thought of these over the years and finally found them its amazing feeling lol
I got an incredible suggestion. Why not hiring the guys from Robot Chicken and Mystery Science Theater 3000: Stoopid Buddy Studios to make those bumpers back also to make Hot Dog Ville from Mickey and the Roadster Racers? It'll be a perfect away to make Classic Disney awesome. Thumbs up if u agree.
I miss the good old days of The Disney Channel. My favorite memories are the bumpers featuring Mickey made by Colossal Pictures. I think they made like what 50 of them?
I was born in 1989 and I pretty much watched Disney exclusively when I was little. These bring back memories.

These really give off a Will Vinton vibe. Will Vinton for those who don't know, was a stop-motion animator known for coining the phrase Claymation. His work could be seen in stuff like Return to Oz, The Adventures of Mark Twain, (1985) The California Raisins, Dominos Pizza's the Noid, The PJ's and others. His stuff would certainly fit these bumpers animation styles for sure.
i wanna say m.j. used claymation in his movie moonwalker . i miss back in the day
I love that funny looking shay locomotive that was used. :)
This was actually back when the Disney Channel actually honored Walt Disney. After 2008 Disney Channel has only has teen sitcoms with all their young teenage actresses dressed like Playboy Models.
totally agree ! sad ..
I wish Robert Lyons would have also uploaded the master reels for the Tropiary bumpers, the sculpture bumper, the transition bumpers (lighthouse to ship sail and the Shoe house to Donald's house), and the bumper where Donald welcomes Cinderella.
Agreed!!!
Even the bush
Happy birthday, Donald Duck.
Amazing!!
Thank you so much for this. Seriously. Thank you. Never thought I'd ever see these again.
My pleasure.

i could just cry right now
Anna: You can do that. I won't judge.
Lol. I love those bumpers, too.
Missing the good old things.
Quackertown, is THAT what that's called? I never would've guessed!
Poor Donald. Can't he even catch a break in his own city? Mein sister and I used to tape episodes of the old My Little Pony during Disney previews, so we managed to catch a couple of these. (I'm only adding this part for the "Crazies" in the MLP:FiM fandom, I would appreciate no remarks on that, my sister and I happen to be children of the 1980's, and, despite it's flaws, we still enjoy the original MLP every now and again, so thank you in advance for not putting it down, or putting me down for actually liking it).
DreamDancer82 Do you still have the tapes?
Wonderful
Quackertown? I though Donald came from Duckburg. Is Quackertown the 'Shelbville' of the 'duck universe' and since when did Donald get into politics? He wouldn't last a term as mayor. Also, if Quackertown did exist, I doubt it would look this tacky.
I’m convinced it’s some dream world of Donald’s. I have dreams that look like this.
Tony Anselmo as Donald Duck
You forgot one more, Cinderella's visiting Donald
That wasn’t a part of the original video, but it could be elsewhere on CZcams or the internet. Sorry!
I was referring to when the bumpers themselves came out. It says that they came out in very early 1991.
Neat Disney channel stuff.
Didn't Broadcast Arts help to create "Pee-wee's Playhouse"?
Oh this brings back some good childhood memories…
I have to ask the OP: where on earth did you get these master reels? They are absolutely amazing quality!
Memories!
Wow

It's a dream! like Disneyland
Used in Disney Channel (1991-2019) and Toonsville TV and Toonsville TV Movie Channel (1992-2019)
Nope. They were *exclusively* used on The Disney Channel and that was only until 96 or so... Disney Channel changed their logo in 1997.
The train was my favorite as a kid.
Mine was the orchestra gone nuts.
I like casey jr

These were just aired on weekend mornings right? Or were they used for the morning schedule everyday? I haven't been able to tell from looking at the schedule clips but I think it's the former (a weekday schedule from 1996 used edited versions of station IDs for coming up next).
Are you talking about the video from October 2, 1996?
Yeah that one. I don't exactly know when they started using those over the generic "sky" menus, but apparently the Quackertown stuff lasted from 91 to 97!
That's from my alternate channel (the one I'm replying to you with) but that is really cool. I thought they quit using those bumpers in 1994 or so.
T
hese were on every weekday in the early afternoon.
I was only a baby at the time but I'm pretty sure it was an everyday thing. Side note. So far, the latest recordings I've found with the Quackertown IDs are from 1994. So I'm guessing they used these until 94 unless someone has some 1995-96 footage of Disney using still them.
(Another video on this website says they only used these until 1993 which is obviously inaccurate. Another compilation of Disney IDs labels these as 1995 but commenting is turned off of that video. I'm assuming it's for Coppa reasons)
In the spring of 1991.
Yes.
Didn't Elias Associates, Inc. in NYC (now Elias Music) do the music for these?
OH NO! NOT THAT! 3:42
Those Bumpers Would Be Used For WDTV (PBS) Kids Bumps From September 6th, 1993 To September 1st, 2019
where did you find these?
