I'm so happy I found this. My dad was the creative director of most (if not all) of these bumpers and I'm so happy to see it's still remembered. He passed last year in April, so this Father's Day I just had to see if I could find my dad's work. I can't believe my dad's work has been seen by a million people, and it warms my heart that it's loved 🖤

Some of them were used in a Disney TV block called "Le Disney Channel" on the 3rd public channel in France during the last 80's. Your father was really talented. I remember all of them and still love them. Thanks to his fantastic works he's still in our hearts.

I remember lots of these commercials... I wish they would re run some of the old Disney classic shows like Pooh's Corner... Dumbo's Circus... Adventures In Wonderland... Gummy Bears... to name a few... Disney Channel definitely isn't the same anymore...
This stuff beats the heck out of any episode of Spongebob Squarepants. I think the last good shpw on the Disney Channel was Phineas & Ferb.
You can actually find a few of those on Disney+, if you have that.
These are such a throwback. I remember watching the modernized Mickey Mouse Club and then late at night when the channel would play Dave Crockett and other Disney shows from the 60s.
Vault Disney! I remember that! I became a huge fan of classic Disney because of all the old shows and movies they used to air.

These idents, bumpers, ids. Whatever you want to call them, they entertain me. Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Cartoon Network, they are full of good idents, bumpers and ids what made me stay on the channel instead of going onto another show waiting for my show to go on.
Also MTV made great even gross out idents in animation, too.

I remember most of those! Not all, but most of them! I watched Disney Channel a ton during the 80s. I probably watched it more than any other channel back then.
I used to love Disney Channel. It was around 1987 when I was 2 that I really started watching it. Welcome to Pooh Corner, Dumbos Circus were my favorites, but they had a lot of other great programs too. Not like today. I probably watched everyday until around the mid-nineties, so these bumpers bring back a lot of memories. Nowadays I can't stand any of the Disney Channels. Every show seems like a cheap clone of the others. There is no variety like there used to be. There was something truly magical about Disney back then.
Disney channel was probably the only channel that I watched when I was a kid. Way before technology came out. I watched nickelodeon too but not as much as Disney. I was obsessed with it when I was young. I finally got to go to Disney World when I was about 8 or 9 years old. And Britney spears was my idol back then. She still is my favorite singer today
I was obsessed with Nickelodeon. Btw Nickelodeon was the first kids show not Disney they only made movies.

I really wish that Disney Channel would either do a 90s block or make a retro disney channel, they do have a throwback block but the show are from 2003-2006 I want one where they air the 90s and 80s shows.

What exactly do you mean? Are you refering to what happened to Disney's throwback animation channel Toon DIsney and then they changed it to Disney XD? And what happened to Nicktoons (that was almost like Nick's throwback channel for cartoons) Nick's GAS (nick's throwback channel for gameshows) changing to Teen Nick and now even Cartoon Network's Boomerang (Yea the one channel i thought they were never going to change changed) and the Hub (it was like a throwback channel since they aired old shows) to discovery family?

I just want to stop by and tell everyone THANK YOU for getting this video up to almost 2 MILLION views. Disney needs to realize that there is a demand for the old school to come back, and we need to keep showing them a retro channel should be made, or a lot of the old shows be released on the upcoming streaming service. There was heart and soul put into the Disney Channel and Toon Disney in days past, and I want to thank each and every one of you again for coming here to relive that.

You got that right. Many times of this future just had no imagination or even creativity for great shows even Disney afternoon. Let's hope Disney brings back what we want and never letting new gen kids watching bad junk as or now.
1:56 mickey dosent have a face
I can't believe they blanked out Mickey's face. It looks creepy and I'm sure a few very young kids were freaked out by that! I watched TDC every weekend when I was a kid but I'm surprised that there are two introductions that I've never seen. However, they did leave out the one where he's building a puzzle and cheating by smashing the puzzle pieces when they don't fit and they magically blend into the background! There was also one that showed what looked like a huge automatic watch with all the gearing and it would slowly turn around and the logo would rotate into place like a watch hand. Can't believe I remembered that one, it just popped into my head all of a sudden!

I always got a little freaked out by the old live action bumpers that just showed Mickey’s hands. I guess it was because I was imagining what his face looked like. Especially the block one at 3:58, that one scared me the most.

They should bring back these bumpers also the classic series and cartoons including some of the newer ones. Some live action shows don't be long in our classic network.

Personally, I was born in 1999 and I appreciate those times more than anyone I know. Even though I never witnessed it first hand I can only imagine how great it was. I know for sure that commercials like these and music were better then.

Several thoughts I have on these:
1. If I were a kid and saw that glove running through that hallway, I'd have nightmares
2. Did Mickey's shopping list say "Porter-MOUSE steak?"
3. Amoung the crazy hats, Mickey included the sorcerer's hat, and Goofy's! LOL!
4. The microscope one reminded me of something. I saw a Mickey Mouse silhouette in a slide of a blood sample in my bilogy class once.
5. That last one was REALLY weird!

The paint trick at 3:10 is a decent illusion. I think they cut and reversed the video of the paint spinning around to make that work. That sure is real paint. They added a cheap video warp to it. But not too shabby

I'm 22 years old and I'm very glad that I find even people significantly younger than me appreciating and longing for the older decades. Things were more open to creativity back then.

I remember being a 4-year old kid about a month and some days short of my 5th birthday when the Disney Channel premiered back in 1983. Dumbo Circus, Winnie the Pooh, You and Me Kid, The New Mickey Mouse Club, Good Morning Ms. Bliss. Oh the memories.
