When we recieve the Holy Spirit we are miraculously changed.
The flesh has no power over those who have truly been Born Again. The struggle is when people try to conquer their sin by their own power, because they have not received the Holy Spirit:
    Collosians 2:11
"and in Him (Jesus) you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ,"
    Romans 8:9-11
"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you."
    1 John 3
"Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister."
When Paul spoke about his struggles with sin, he was speaking about his past before he received the Holy Spirit, because he also said:
    1 Corinthians 15:34 :
"Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God-I say this to your shame."
Paul also said, "Those who are in the flesh cannot please God." Romans 8;1-8
When Jesus said, "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." He had not sent the Holy Spirit yet.
    Jesus told the Pharisees,
"You will die in your sins."
For anyone who dies in their flesh, they are guaranteed to end up in Hell.
“For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” Romans 8:13.
God's grace does not allow us to go on sinning. God's grace changes us. God's grace does not free us to sin. It frees us from sin. Decieved Christians have faith that they can sin until the day they die and still go to heaven, but they don't have faith in the power of the Holy Spirit to free them from sin.
To deny the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver us from sin so that we can live a righteous life is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

The only evidence that the HS is a 'person' is based on a quirk of Greek grammer in John's gospel! Fact! ELEVEN TIMES in the NT the Spirit is linked with power! Rom 15:9 "With the power of the Holy Spirit". Acts 1:8 "You shall recieve power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you". Also the HS is linked by contrast to 'Water' ( "I baptize you with water, that one will baptize you with the HS" (John 1:33) It is mostly referred to as "God's Holy Spirit" thus not a seperate 'person'! Also Luke 11:20 "I heal by the finger of God" again part of God Himself acting, projecting His power to accomplish His will "If you send forth YOUR Spirit, they are created" Psalm 104:30
