It's kinda a known thing in the Netherlands, it started with a couple of youtubers doing it last year i believe 🤔and then soon kids & grown ups joined in. We can always use more people doing it, not just here + it really cleans up and it can be a lot of fun 😊
Tbh with you, I've even thought about getting a big magnet but uhm some scammers around too..🙈 Might be less now but yeah thats kinda what kept me from doing it 😕😅

As a Dutch person who has lived in a city for over a decade, I can confirm this is usually what's in the canals in big cities. Bikes and shopping carts, often thrown in as a joke, as trash, or vandalism. Usually a dredge boat will go by at least once a year to fish up all the big things. It's usually filled with bicycles.. some World War relics, nothing out of the ordinary! XD
I just can’t imagine bystanders seeing him struggling thinking “how big is that fish he caught? 😳”
I would be very happy if he caught a WWII bombs😍

Going to church trying not to Sin to go to heaven being a Good person We can not do any works to remove a sin because God says it is death for the sin

All we have to do to receive that payment onto our account is believe he did it for us that he payed for all our sins and we get
forgiveness of all our sin past present
And future he payed for them all. Which means When we Trust in him and believe we cannot go to hell for our sins
Because we have no sins to to pay for.
It's by Grace something we don't deserve not any works of any kind. God gets all the glory and no created Man will be boosting before God saying he earned heaven by he's works the bible is clear on this my friend. God is the saviour not us We are not co saviour we either believe or we don't there is too types of People unbelievers in Sin death or believers in Christ Life eternal. We can not save ourselves by our works to earn eternal life and be Justified before a holy God. Its by Grace its a Gift according to the scriptures we are Justified.

It is a one moment in time to trust In Christ alone
believe he died for our sins shedding he's blood as the substitute for us on the cross and was buried showing he was dead and Resurrection showing the payment is complete to the world on the third day. Alone put your faith in Him. in God as saviour a living saviour
Be Justified by the Blood of Christ hes death for our sins. God gave us grace something we don't deserve he took the death we deserve.
And we get the righteousness of God by faith onto our account and all Sins removed a complete transaction saved from eternal death and receive Christ eternal life all by the Grace of God
And then we can know we are going to heaven praise The Lord
And we can never lose eternal Life once we have Trusted in Christ alone and believe in what he did for us on the cross. And we can know right now in time we have eternal life and no sin or bad work.Can ever change that. The life is eternal not temporary life this is the true God of the bible its salvation not probation.

Just a heads-up for everyone wanting to fish in the Netherlands, in a lot of municipalities it's actually prohibited, due to weapons and WW2 artefacts sitting on the bed of the canals. Always check if it's legal where you want to start fishing, you could get a hefty fine!
... or get killed by detonation. 😉

This man has been diving and magnet fishing all over the world. He has found numerous jewels, crazy objects, weapons, safes, and uncountable coins.
Yet here he is again, fishing his first bicycle of the day and being truly happy. Pure enjoyment for us viewers too.

@@gr8t1bobo - As far as I know you are allowed to keep your finds, but ...
when it is a weapon or ammunition you need to call in the police. In some areas magnet fishing is not allowed because that area has still lots of ammunition from WW2.
When finding identifiable goods (IDs, jewellery with names, etc.) Bondi has put in the effort to find the owner, and often succeeded.
When finding things that can be assumed to have great historical value, it is wise to attend experts (museums, etc.). It may even be required in some countries.
The useless trash, which is often the bulk of what is pulled up, has to be collected by the local clean-up departement. In the Netherlands and Belgium I know that Bondi calls the local authorities to tell them the places where trash is waiting. The metal will be recycled. I have seen videos in England where a whole group of people fish and dreg up trash from the canals and the money from all the collected metal is given to a charity.

We used to do this in the waterway here in a village in the Netherlands. And as kids we'd pull all kinds of stuff from the bottom (it's like 2.5m deep tops here so never dive into the water, it's dangerous). We also always wore old shoes while swimming because there is all kinds of stuff on the bottom that can cut you. Weirdest thing I've seen being pulled out here was a sheep's head. I rode a bike I've pulled out of the water for years to the bus station (they get stolen alot here so you need cheap bikes to ride there)

Loved this one for the sightseeing. The “ceiling” of the food market is like a painted Forrest, so pretty, and the pubs at the old harbor have great food (ceasar’s salade).
Magnet fishing would be nothing for me, with bowling I can aim a throw but the aim has nothing to do with the outcome, I’d be getting a lot of complaints about damaging boats and such. I even manage to drop the bowling ball behind me. Same weight as your magnet, poor bystanders, cars and windows 😂 what happens with all the metal you pull out, do you call scrapyard owners to come and pick it up?
