- The MJX Bugs 3 is an amazing drone after all of these years. It is a classic and IMO the best non-GPS drone ever released (excluding racing quads of course). Thankfully you can still pick up a new Bugs 3 from eBay shipped from Washington state for $89.71 with free shipping.

I have the original black one, red one and the mini, nice job Ryan.
I had a red one as well but it busted. I had a black frame that I tried to transfer the guts into it but I gave up! LOL
I've still got 4 of these and they still fly great.

If you take the legs off and use a low-profile GoPro mount it makes for a pretty good little fpv drone
This takes me back. It's a fun quad, but it needs a lot of clear air space to get it`s full speed. Thanks for the video.

Yes you have to register with the FAA because it weighs over 250 grams. It will also require a remote ID module very soon.

The only place I've been able to find them is on eBay but that was back when I made this video so no clue if there are any listed there now. Best of luck

Cool to see it flying, I would have smashed it in the side of the house in under 30 seconds! Not a bad price on them though.

You cant find this drone any longer, i buy the contixo f17 same try putting a 2200 mah 120 c lipo, and yes you have to develop good flying skills i have been through 9 of theses in the past 8 years, crashes, loosing orientation motor failures, ect... The best fastest on 3s gets 50plus mph great range i fly daily get about a year per drone if you make it that long.
They are awesome. No they are not easy to find anymore though I found them on eBay. You can find them still but it isn't as easy

M8 was ok, but something about the Bugs 3 keeps me flying it as my favorite drone. I’ve got the inspire, phantom 4 pro v2.0 and the DJI mini 3 pro and Bugs 3 out flies them all.
I thought you were referring to the Bugs MX 8, but it was hard to figure out from your weird post.

Good times. I remember when the bugs 3 first arrived to me. It was snowing outside, I threw the firefly 7s on there at the time and sent it up. I still have both the blue drocon bugs and my original bugs 3, but they collect dust now. 🥹
They are the best! You should show fly one of them or both with your friends someday!

It was fun, but it’s one of those things that now that will never be the same for me today compared to when I first started in the hobby.
