Western kid during exam: Well maybe I can pass this, or maybe not. But at least I tried...
Asian kid during exam:
Modern Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese and Hong Kong students being relatable for most of the song:
American Airborne parody: "aight folks. if there's something wrong when u jump, you're automatically die and those medics on the ground will happily escorting your body to the morgue"
IJA parody: "i hate school. i hate classes"
How nice are the americans for helping their deceased to be carried away….only a IJA soldier can dream
what parody is that?

0:50 Juugaku (重学) is an archaic word for mechanics.
It is not "serious stuff."
March for some students around the world.
As an native of an former Japanese occupied state i actually agree being Asian really suck when it come to this kind of things
"Confucius and Mencius"
Flashbacks of learning Old Chinese in high school
When you're some of the most brutal in committing war crimes but school is still a must
So this is what happens when you go back in time and move a chair
Let us commence forth a diminutive sum of trollery
"Oh god, I hate learning Chinese"
And... that's where Nanking begins
Even the class is online this song still related
The fact that many Westerners makes jokes or stereotypes about Asians always studying harder and top notch intelligent.
(Ps. I'm an Asian)
Im half westerner and half asian, lived in both hemispheres for an equal amount of time and i can say that this is true. I first lived in America and the education there is so lax. When i was finishing up addition and subtraction in grade 2, the grade 2 in the Philippines are already finishing up multiplication and division.
You can tell how much i suffered when i transferred to Asia in grade 3
So nobody's gonna talk about the Non japanese university on the background
Nobody's care
Wow very scarry wow it make me cry :I

Here are the lyrics if you struggle to remember the lines
Damn having to carry that beggar bag around
And having to gather as the trumpets sound
The classroom is filled with students
Is it math again today?
The triangles, all of that thinking
And I only barely finished everything
Coordinates, origin, and parabola
Goddamn, it's analysis!
I'm not a doctor of physics
How am I supposed to know the acceleration?
It's simply a square or a triangle!
Goddamn, this is serious stuff!
I don't even know if that's a needle or a worm
This is the absurdity of language class
What a troublesome work this is
I must be Napoleon!
Confucius and Mencius must've been drinking
And intoxicated when they're writing their stuff
How am I supposed to understand this bullshit?
Oh god, I hate learning Chinese
A long time ago
Yoshida Kenko and Ki no Tsurayuki
They are just writing nonsense
Like melting mizuames
"Loyalty, Filial Piety, benevolence and love"
Why are these values are still relevant nowadays?
That class must be hypnotic
Because I can fall asleep immediately
Holy hell how long did you spend writing this
Also Kitchener you have the same interest in history as I

Imagine: You're visiting your friend in Japan. You are now going to their younger sibling's school to introduce yourself. And then you play this song for the students and they all smile and giggle while the teacher just stands there and looks at you with a "You know that they'll never shut up about this song, right?" look.
the IJA doing shitpost before it was popular.

Never thought I'd find myself agreeing with the imperial japanese about something.
As an academic, I still find it funny.
