    I'd take a proud mode only quick quest option in a heart beat - or just let us queue for multiple quests at the same time so I can select all proud modes and let the first one pop

      yeah they should just add more matchmaking modes in general , like queue for any quest of a difficulty, or queue all quests scaling at a chosen difficulty and randomized , so we even get to enjoy earlier quest & still do big dem / get hit hard while our builds still makes sense. also crossplay would extend longevity alot

    The purpose of the quick quest is to keep lower difficulty quest queues alive, so new players don't have to solo up to proud before being able to play online.
    It scales so that the new player gets to experience the fight somewhat normally. The fights are still very easy for experienced players.
    I wouldn't mind a random quest queue though. Obviously it wouldn't reward dahlia tickets, but could be fun.

      honestly damage scaling isnt the issue like i stated but random decreeses on QoL sigils is pretty noticable for stuff like charge characters
      Also like i said the issue isnt the earlier quests or balacing at all - its the fact the reward is just so terrible overall which you have to assume the devs factored that in for such terrible rates as well right

      that explains how a level 25 goblin boss still does 75% of my hp just from goomba stomping my ass while I'm level 100....

    I recommend them to give 1 silver Dahlia by default per quest run and 1 gold Dahlia every 3 quest . This makes grinders' life a little more rewarding.

    Make it turn lower difficulty quests into a proud mode version of the quest, e.g. crank up the enemy levels, add 1-2 more bosses, and add mobs.
    Make each quick quest drop 1-2 silver centrums upon completion.
    Rewards for each quick quests are end game variants, sigil V+, lv10 wrightstones with always 2 substats.
    100% drop rate for all possible materials that can be obtained from that quest.

    Agree it needs to change. I often get downgraded so negatively I'm doing less damage then the person I joined and am little more then a hinderance to them lol. It could at least put me on par with them.

    I think the developers' intention of the quick quest and its gold badge tickets is rewarding you for helping people searching for help with lower quests.
    If they were to include proud difficulty, all you'd do in quick quests is get queued for the next proto bahamut fight, which kinda defeats that point.
    With that in mind, I think it's fair to keep the system the way it is.
    The severity of downscaling though.. it's just too rough - hope they adjust the numbers a bit with the next bigger update.

      Im sure they could add a priotiy system for lower missions/make proto bahamut a queue only encounter because its the most farmed fight in the game atm other than slime
      I also really hope the gold badge system atm is only a starter/gate system because those rewards are YIKES

      You say it's to help lower level people but almost every quick quest I'm in is a group of 100's and I'm the one that's downscaled into the ground

    About Curio, it's rewards depends on your current unlocked difficulty, so if your highest difficulty unlocked is maniac and you're doing maniac quests, you'll never get sup v+ and such thing, but if you're at proud difficulty doing hard quest, the curio reward will be the same as you did a proud quest, also, quest difficulty itself affects curio drop rate, start at hard quest about 60% to proud quest about 90%, again, the quest's difficulty itself don't affect reward, I've got sup v+ from farming extrme hard quests all night
    Quick quest scaling is something horrible, but you can kinda get over it by slapping a bunch of attack sigils on you that would normally past the cap far without the scale, still, it's no fun without proud quests included

      @@lu5513 What you say applies to quest rewards. Curios are seeds, unchangeable, they have nothing to do with your progressiom level. This a fact, google it out. Im in a facebook group and ppl have posted from PS getting these in Extreme

      ​@tiltingart9276 It's seed that won't change from save scumming, that's common knowledge and I knew, yet before hight progression level I'm getting 3 and 4s and no 5s all the time yet now it's rare to get those after proud, so unless you can provide me actual proof that someone whose progression level didnt reach high and still getting those sigils instead of "just google it", I stand by my statement.

      LOL and my comments got deleted, what a joke, so I'll say it again, I only get 3 and 4s no 5 at all before high progression and low levels got much rarer after proud so unless theres actual proof someone with low progression level getting those sigils instead of "just Google it", I stand by my statement

    I don't know why this game doesn't have a "raid finder" that lets you join in a random quest that someone is trying to do ala FFXIV

      My save files got corrupted after doing a few co-op quests. I saved and the next day 'Unable to load" popped up and my save file poofed right in front of me in game. I had to do some digital witchcraft to recover it. I don't if it's o-op that's corrupting the files. People said on Steam GBFR forum that in co-op Steam IDs are getting mingled together and it causes steam auto save to corrupt because it doesn't know which steam ID the save file belongs to. I'm staying out of co-op until they fix it... IF they even know how to fix it.

    Word. I did a few Quick Quests early on, figured this out, and never did these again. It's sad. You hit all the points. This could and should be a wonderful way to help lower level players, so help encourage you to play online, to mix up the variety of quests you see, and serve as a way you can also actually play some of the lower level stuff. This should be a huge win for everyone. Instead, the cost of the rewards are ridiculous. The scaling is far too aggressive. You can't get Silver Centrums from Quick Quests, for the most part, and Proud isn't in there, so you also can't really get a lot of the materials you could use. They literally made it so you would not want to do this. I hope they fix it.

    Honestly I’m at the point where, I’m so farmed out that I’m just maxing out all characters and clearing up the Lyria Journal, optimizing AI with multiple maxed out terminus weapons. The rewards for quick quest aren’t even worth it, it takes too long you get faster rewards from actually farming the materials you need.
    FYI. I use any Main character I feel like using. Then EUGE/SIEG/PERCIVAL

    Throwing a sub your way! Anyway, GBFR is fucking awesome though!!! It has some issues but still one of the best games I've played, memories of Kingdom Hearts II.

    Honestly they should of added an item what allows you to upgrade ( like take a lvl IV sigil to lvl V sigil) which could cost like 50 badges. I totally agree that the inventory should reset on a weekly basis cuz farming slimes is liberally sending me crazy 😅 and lowering the boss mosnter items would be nice to actually lvl up ascension weapons.. i know they arent the best but hey fashion souls 🤷‍♂️

    6:40 It's for the higher level people to help catch the lower level people up. I'm pretty sure that's been stated somewhere.

    The scaling is bad to a point where it makes you useless
    I get to play with lower lvl but doesn't change the fact that max out ppl can que at the same time to help other and 1 shot stuff, im here for what?
    And obviously proud isn't there cause all you'd get proto bahamut since it's literally the only endgame they did.

      Scaling def needs some looking at - proud mode quick quest can be solved by just letting us queue for multiple missions OR better yet just remove proto bahuamt and other "raid" tier fights from the quick quest pool since they will be the most farmed anyway

    The problem I have with quick quests is that they're not quick at all, I tried a handful of times over the last week and I only once managed to match with a group. Other times, I gave up after matchmaking for 5 minutes...

      Hey bud are you on Steam? If so it's based on your download region. I live somewhere in the SEA/Australia area so I usually get lumped into australia download region. After I changed my download region to Japan I get matchmaking relatively easy.

    The badge exchange rate is pretty dreadful. A lot of the items just don’t make sense and just incentivize people not to do these along with all the other reasons.
    30 gold badges for an Azurite Splendor, which is arguably the rarest and most valuable item in the game atm. 25 gold badges for 1 silver centrum.. lol.

    Did this thing once, noticed it squishes everything way to hard. Why would I risk even remotely not getting S++ clear over just picking the quest normaly and blowing it up out of the water in a few seconds. The rewards are utterly not worth it for making your runs way longer than they would be normally. Not to mention a new player would likely appreciate that random tank with high provoke and mainly support skills allowing them to actually deal with the quest easily, that they normally maybe struggle to do themselves. And while like many of us here farming proto bahamut nonstop and finding it not that hard anymore, there are defo players that likely struggle even with maniac difficulty quests

    Just did a quick quest with a katalina in my grp one shottimg mobs for 89 k she had 18 k atk while my id did 6 k per claw swipe and hes sitting at 30 k atk makes no sense

      Yeah the scaling down is absolutely trash and it also nerfs your weapons as well so my fully maxed out terminus is useless 😅

    It's like.... Roulettes in FFXIV to help other players with quests in multi. Where they messed up was in the scaling for over leveled people/people way over the PWR limit. In FFXIV the scaling or level sync as they call it is generous (maybe a little too generous) so it still feels really good and not TOO detrimental to new player experience (except some trials that die too fast still). ReLink.... scales too hard and makes you worse than the desired PWR. I hope they find some sort of work around for this because it feels really bad to scale down even on level 100 fights.

      Late response I know but final fantasy usually had several reasons to enjoy the sync, your farming times, getting a massive exp bonus to match up to your level and of course commendation farming with usually the level sync being a cut above the ‘minimum power’.
      If grand blue relink had the scaling be about say 1.25x what the minimum power level was and ignored squishing most non direct damage modifiers like damage cap, cascade, quick cooldown and more and simply squish the dmg increase and atk increase modifiers with a lot less weight on the hp, defense and such mods, then it could be more tolerable.
      Since mastery points, rubies and exp and voucher already became insanely redundant at end game, relink has no convert bonus except more mastery points and a smidge of vouchers.
      Now if they scaled the dahlia badges to a much higher amount, not lock the gold tickets in offline, just give double the amount if you do it online and maybe actually tone down the prices on a number of items, then it be more tolerable.
      If it’s gonna be a quick quest, it should be quick, like 3 minutes or so at most, not take 5-12 minutes because multiple units due to the squish, didn’t simply get nerfed, they got SUPER nerfed, because it likely doesn’t take into account that hp affects a lot more combat power then attack and they nerf attack power way more while ignoring the modifiers on other stuff to squish it further while still squishing those social effects on top of that.
      Unless they find a way to balance it so your stats are above average instead of being near the line, it makes even slamming my face directly against the evil dragon again more tempting then farming silver badges instead.

      I kinda get it as an early gate keep mechanic to keep people for just finishing the game of minmaxing then quitting - i feel like if they keep it the way it is then it will be worse overall though

      If anything I'd make the Transmutation thingy or whatever it is make it so those let you pick the main stat on a sigil.

    Bro thats nothing. Quick quests are not even worth the annoyance, except for like Azurite splendors?. The real issue of this game is called: SILVER CENTRUM. This game is dead if they don't modify this fucking item.
    Terminus grind, sigil Gatcha, I "can" tolerate it.

    I didn't even think about the proud not being in quick quest. I was having a hard time queueing for Pyet-A yesterday just for farming
