How do you find the rear suspension on these cars , I have a 2017 c200 which seems to get a lot of noise coming from the rear left when going over bumps or holes in the road . It's only done 20k and is on 17" rims , it's been back to my local dealer and they say all is ok . To be honest not that impressed with the so called Germany quality!

Thanks for the great video. I have ordered the c200 and am now slightly worried about the power (204 bhp) and am now thinking that maybe I should have gone for the c300. The main problem I have with changing my order is that delivery for the c300 I have been told will only arrive in October. My main worry is not only the bhp but that such a small engine (1.5) might be forever revving and sound intrusive within the cabin. I don’t really need much more power but am worried about refinement with that engine. Have you driven the c200? Any feedback would really be useful. Thank you Carlos

Thanks Carlos! Appreciated. To be honest I haven driven the 200 for about half a mile so I couldn’t give you any feedback. There is one at Slough if you would like to try it? Where are you bested?
I thought about that with the 1.3 engine in the A Class and it’s been solid. If you are doing town driving you will be ok in my opinion. The 300 might be better for the motorway miles etc

    • @thomasdc2439

@@GoksCarLounge I didn't talk about other cars. Why do you bring this up?
And if you obviously didn't drive older Mercedes, you can't know the difference, do you?
My C-Class Coupé has a better interior quality than the new C-Class. But I'm not talking about the style or design itself. Yes, the older car looks dated and didn't age that well. I don't even like the older 2012 interior design. BUT everything that you touch feels better and is more sturdy. Nothing cracks or squeezes. The turn signal lever has more weight and feels more sturdy. That one in my newer car feels flimsy and fragile. And this cheap looking glossy plastic is horrible and looks like crap after a few years.
I was talking to someone from Mercedes today when I left my GLC for repair. And he agreed with me. He is working there already for a while, so he should know.
I was also talking to an older taxi driver recently and he told me the same. He was driving Mercedes his entire life. And he has made millions of kilometers in these cars.
I can't say anything about the S-Class though. I didn't drive one for many years.
And I'm not saying that other companies are better. I don't know each brand. And I still bought a used 2018 GLC a few weeks ago because I still like it better than other cars in this price range. But it doesn't mean that I think it's perfect. Because it's definitely not. It has many flaws I decided to live with.
