I can totally relate to the "you're going to have to show me" mentality. Im glad it worked out for you this time but stay strong through those tilting moments and play your game Lex. Best of luck.
Big compliment that you speak about your downswing; not many are as open as you are // besides that, great videos which I enjoy for years now // keep it going and All the best for a HUGE UpSwing
Nice comeback! I recently finished up $16 after being down $650 in a Colorado 1-3 game. Appreciate the honesty and like how relatable it is to watch your vlogs.
The mental aspect of poker was something I never really expected to be so challenging It feels defeating especially when you've experienced the validation of a major upswing Hang in there buddy. We love your content ❤
Hello Lex! You seem like a really great guy, and I love your content. You have a lot of positivity, which I admire. Congratulations on your success, and try to stay positive. You deserve it.
Lex, thanks for your honesty. I’m currently going thru a downswing and I feel like it’s just me. If it happens to you too then I am in very good company.
Great comeback! I felt like you were off this session. Couldn't understand the sizing and some of you're reasoning but all and all you had a very good hand selection, you didn't "chase" your luck with garbage hands and kept it together. Good job bro!
Thank you for the ongoing content. $60K is a big hole to climb out from. On the brighter side, it DOESN'T seem like you're playing scared, despite the train wreck in the past 90 days. That's something to be proud of.
Regardless, “if I’m not there” lol, you’re still the best player in the room. When they catch I remind myself that only happens about 15% of the time. The other times we win big pots. GL friend
I have been watching you over the years. I am a high stake grinder like you, and you have improved a lot tremendously. You were somewhat tight in the beginning, but you have been making good folds, good bluffs, and unconventional plays. I think you have what it takes to survive. It is not easy being a pro.
dang, I had the same thing in the exact same months. Jan to Nov won every month...Dec, Jan & Feb were red months. Seems like ALL opponents draws came in when NONE of mine did. Also got oversetted, flushed out, boat over boat way too often. Its been a challenge continuing to play.
Every poker player goes that route ! Regardless if you are a pro or not! I play for over 10 years now and my worst downswing went 6 months! I make 5000€ a year at avg with poker and that works for me as I have a job 😊 every year a new MacBook or iPad and a nice vacation 😊 all about the expectation! Go Lex the „luck“ returns I promise ☘️ a good bankroll management is the key 😉🤠
Awesome! I know it’s “…just a $30 win.” but, ooooweeeee! Grin ding it out and believing in yourself made those $30 nearly priceless. I was thinking to leave down around $3K would have still been nearly a win. So glad for you
I'm an older player. (74). Playing poker in multiple formats for over 60 years. Anyone who states they've never been tilted is either mistaken or hasn't played long. One consistent overarching theme I see in your videos is tilt in multiple sessions, for multiple hands. That boat 5's over 3's is prime example. Recommend hand played by most is Ace Five suited. Multiple players play unsuited. You should have suspected that as well within his range. Until you deal with tilt under strain, personal life or down in a session, your reads may be lacking. Life can be regarded as one long session. Much easier for me to deal with my personal tilt by accepting variance happens, and play each hand as if it is my first hand of the night. Only way I can semi control my tilt.
Lex, idk if you're gonna see this comment, But i Love ur Content bro, you are very Transparent, and ur videos thought me a lot of things. I'm on a downswing swing too bro, before i couldn't lose a hand, now if i Got KK someone has AA. 😂 😂
About upswings and downswings, something I was told so long ago that it was in a deuce to seven NL Lowball game, the best games are where you have your biggest wins, but also your biggest losses... The guy who said that preferred quiet games, which I never did.
Home cooking is where your best. Work on your mental game. Continued poker study and learning how to be cool under pressure can be what gets you to the next level.
I have been a huge fan from the beginning with that being said I think it's time you adjust your play style or strategy. Your opponents have an opportunity to study alot of your hands. It wouldn't hurt to be a little unpredictable.
Your experiencing what's normal in Poker. I've been playing for 3 years for a living. The difference btwn you and me is in 3 years I have never sun runned like you, make 30-40k in one month. Thats insane. So my downswing has crippled me and i may be on my last few months of poker
Bro, I like you and your channel. This is not hate, but it seems like you cause yourself the majority of your losses. You bet big or call big when you don't have the nuts! Last week you bet into a flush on the board, and here you just went all in on a draw? My strategy is different but I am very tight too....I bet if you played a little more conservatively you would be up way more often.
Lex O used to play Nitty as a rock (heavy doses of folding to aggression, unless he was Nutted) ... two or so years back. He's reformed his game to balance "entertainment value" vs. profitability. One of the best poker vlogs going today.
I get everyone's feedback, I just don't like the idea of betting into "hope" because you're essentially betting into the pot you're behind on. If the board clearly shows the nuts or 3 or 4 ways you're not ahead its OK to fold. I watch Lex because I like his energy but also for strategy. Not entertainment value. He is a person, at his job and I don't want to see him lose for entertainment but by playing strong and solid poker.
It’s not a downswing the truth is that you have played a lot of live streams and you give off tells that people who play against you have studied you are gonna get called light and bluffed hard in spots cause of it
Hard to believe, but I also had a great 2023 until November and I am down $55k in the last four months. I wish you would pull out of it so I can as well. LOL Come on Lex. Let's GO! Are you going on the WPT cruise?
Bro.. you are one of my favorites.. we feel your pain .. You need a paradigm shift.... You forgot your "Why"... Why are you doing this? List your "core values"and your " whys"... Letus hear that so we can be inspired again why we are doing this!! When we hear this this will bring some tears to your audience.....ALL LOVE Brofus
About your $30 gain, a gain is a gain, here an inspirational story: Michael Burry responded to my craigslist ad looking for someone to mow my lawn. "$30 is $30", he said as he continued to mow what was clearly the wrong yard. My neighbor and I shouted at him but he was already wearing muffs. Focused dude. He attached a phone mount onto the handle of his push mower. I was able to sneak a peak and he was browsing zillow listings in central Wyoming. He wouldn't stop cackling.
I work in customer service. You can be on a hour long stressfull call and 5 seconds later get a new call. You then have to be nice. The point being you can only play one hand at a time. The past is over you cant change it. Have a short memory and learn from your mistakes in those moments.
First time watching your Vlog. Good stuff, I sub'ed. Hindsight is always 20/20, but the KK hand @ the 13 minute mark. It always blows my mind when I see higher stakes games and there are players in MP calling preflop w junk like /A/5os. WTF is wrong w/people? From my view, you look like you were UTG? Like I said, first time watching. Any thoughts to possibly limping (if you were UTG) and check raising? I feel that I used to do that way to often and would get burned, but this table seemed like such an action table, did that cross your mind? I don't play 10/25, but I do play 2/5, and MP calling w/A,5os is just such a junk hand. A,5s, well thats a completely different story, and probably deserving of a 3bet. When I see stuff like this it gives me hope that maybe one day I can bump up to 10/25. I imagine when you watched this over you saw that there was absolutely no chance that the villian didn't have it. Preflop he's shuffling his cards. After the flop he looks at his cards. At the turn he once again looks at his cards. You lost the hand, who cares, but IMO he played it like garbage. He should have raised the turn, and IMO, made a much bigger river bet. LIke you said, you were not folding KK.
I can totally relate to the "you're going to have to show me" mentality. Im glad it worked out for you this time but stay strong through those tilting moments and play your game Lex. Best of luck.
Great recovery! Sometimes those feel like a big win, even if it's just a breakeven
Keep it up Lex your mental strength in this game is incredible. You’ll climb out of the downswing very soon!
The mental aspect of poker was something I never really expected to be so challenging
It feels defeating especially when you've experienced the validation of a major upswing
Hang in there buddy. We love your content ❤
Love your videos! Giving a glimpse into your day to day is fantastic and who does not love puppies 😊
I have missed your vlogs! Keep on keeping on Lex! You got this!
Hello Lex!
You seem like a really great guy, and I love your content. You have a lot of positivity, which I admire.
Congratulations on your success, and try to stay positive. You deserve it.
Good job in battling back! Just keep grinding Lex definitely pulling for you!

Nice comeback here is to your continued success 😅
Thank you for the ongoing content. $60K is a big hole to climb out from. On the brighter side, it DOESN'T seem like you're playing scared, despite the train wreck in the past 90 days. That's something to be proud of.
Thanks for continuing producing great content.
Interesting career choice. Yes playing poker will certainly be a career of never-ending upswings and downswings no surprise there
Thank you. I appreciate your videos.
I never miss your videos Lex, excellent commentary and hand analysis. Please ignore the know-it-all trolls and don’t stop posting.
Nice win Lex! Better then getting smoked. Long night of play. Keep it up, Goodluck!👍🍺
Opponent taking a drink in the middle of a hand right befor a bet screams strength! KK is a snap fold there
Iam glad it turned around for you and you came out on top
Regardless, “if I’m not there” lol, you’re still the best player in the room. When they catch I remind myself that only happens about 15% of the time. The other times we win big pots. GL friend

Keep your chin up,,, I enjoy your videos and your poker ♦️ playing!!!
Love that you are doing a bankroll challenge. Keep it up!
60000 isnt even that crazy of a down swing for those stakes. Best thing you can do is put in more volume and it will even out.
love the transparency! upvoted.

Slow & steady brother! A win is a win!

love yer new dog🐕😂.. love boxer mixes with nub tails, always better to have 2 dogs, to keep each other company when youre not home😂
I love hearing you talk about the upswings and downswings...ignore those negative comments.

The older the player, the nittier they are. He’s not 74 yet, give him some time
Way to hang in there, Lex. Nice session.
Nice job clawing back. I find my yo-yo sessions usually are just a slow downhill trip. For some reason it's very rare to get even or end up winning.
Let's goooo!!! You got this, Lex!
I don't like seeing you down Lex, but these have been great videos!
Nice play, nice comeback ❤
Lex, idk if you're gonna see this comment, But i Love ur Content bro, you are very Transparent, and ur videos thought me a lot of things. I'm on a downswing swing too bro, before i couldn't lose a hand, now if i Got KK someone has AA. 😂 😂
That's a w man it's always good to get back to even. after being down.
Great job on these vids!
You’re the best at hand breakdown!!!! Top shelf bro!
No he’s not lmao. Not even close.
About upswings and downswings, something I was told so long ago that it was in a deuce to seven NL Lowball game, the best games are where you have your biggest wins, but also your biggest losses... The guy who said that preferred quiet games, which I never did.
KQ hand I call there too. Just didn’t feel like he had a flush or two pair. Nice call!
Home cooking is where your best. Work on your mental game. Continued poker study and learning how to be cool under pressure can be what gets you to the next level.
Ignore everyone Lex, keep grinding and stay positive!
I just started watching, I hope is not a clickbait
Man I swear always have bad luck at harrahs pompano lol, best luck BIG EASY 🔥
1,200 more sessions like that and you'll be out of the hole! Nice vlog. Thanks for sharing.
"screw it u gotta show me the winner kinda mood"😁😂🥂😎
I saw you walking out of the Hardrock in Hollywood and you seem pissed didn’t want to say what’s up lol
Nice come back Lex.
I have been a huge fan from the beginning with that being said I think it's time you adjust your play style or strategy. Your opponents have an opportunity to study alot of your hands. It wouldn't hurt to be a little unpredictable.
Call the Floor! There’s two 8c on your Ac5c missed flush draw all-in hand.
Was waiting for this
Good job. You will come back!
Thank you Lex
Your experiencing what's normal in Poker. I've been playing for 3 years for a living. The difference btwn you and me is in 3 years I have never sun runned like you, make 30-40k in one month. Thats insane. So my downswing has crippled me and i may be on my last few months of poker
Good game brother 💯 -your daddy Jason 🤣
As Rodney would say, rough crowd 😮
Will you be playing in Hollywood Florida next month for any of those big tournaments ?
That’s a win. Congrats
Lex trying to decide between Florida and Texas with the goal of playing as the main side hustle. Which would you recommend?
I respect you admit that nut flush draw was a punt at 5:15.
😂😂😂 Rich is never folding to your check raise on the flop with that A5c hand
Not sure if that's him. Felt like it at first
nice comeback Lex

If Lex played like a super nit no one would watch.
@norris I’m sure you’re a crusher with that strategy only bet big and call big with the nuts what’s your win rate $10 an hour😊
I get everyone's feedback, I just don't like the idea of betting into "hope" because you're essentially betting into the pot you're behind on. I am going on a downswing myself, I have been running bad and playing bad 😅
It’s not a downswing the truth is that you have played a lot of live streams and you give off tells that people who play against you have studied you are gonna get called light and bluffed hard in spots cause of it
How are you doing on the golf course? Up$ or down?
Hey man i feel ya , im on a downswing as well , when will it end !!!!
GG Lex.
Stay strong
Hard to believe, but I also had a great 2023 until November and I am down $55k in the last four months. I wish you would pull out of it so I can as well. LOL Come on Lex. Let's GO! Are you going on the WPT cruise?
have you thought about maybe playing lower stakes to get your groove back on?
Every other poker vlogger “I’m on a DOWNSWING”
$3 / hour . Not bad . Hopefully the comps are good there
😂
In the last 8 videos you’ve said I’m on tilt so I raise. Have you considered moving down in stacks?
it is actually refreshing to see a poker vlogger scrapping rather than only posting big winning sessions
That’s for the transparency.
yeah that Kks hand was tough smh, u ran bad early, good to see that didnt go on monkey tilt and climbed back out that hole like Bane lol
love the pompano beach content!
Nittiest 1/2 games in South Florida at that place
@godisgood7565 alot of retirement communities in that area lol

Think you could have saved some money on the pocket 10s hand . After it goes 4 ways to the turn someone is likely to have a queen .
A win is a win!
Woooohioooo greeeeen baby yahhhhhhhhh 🤣🤣🤣
Bankroll challenge off to a good start. $37,000
Now only $36,970 go go! 🎉
Book a win, let's go! MOUNTAINEERS! Let's go! ........
Keep it up Lex, try to ignore the people that watch you just to complain.
A win is a win . Be happy to get back after being buried
Reminds me of a 24 hr. session I played once where I left up $8 :/
Did you minus rake for 9 hours? Is it 10 per half hour?
Tell the story, fuck the haters ! Great Vlog
Lex O: “I just had the biggest downswing of my poker career recently, losing $60,000.”
Rampage: “Hold my beer.”
Good one
