In the manga, there is also Mosquito Girl who also works at the Takoyaki Restaurant with Dr. Genus and Armored Gorilla
This episode was where King became my favorite character in the show, not only is he funny, but that speech was amazing. The great thing about that speech, is that you can take the lesson, and apply it to so many areas in life, King the G.O.A.T.
Moral: read more manga to give inspiring speeches.

i like how even Genos doesn't fully comprehend Saitama's full strength.
side note: near 5:34 you hear Saitama's one punch against Goketsu;s previous barrage. Goketsu was wailing on him for those shockwaves, and even then it took one punch from saitama
Since it wasn't clear from the scene in this episode: those guys who confronted Sonic were other ninjas from the same village as Sonic. His senpais, basically. Flashy Flash is one as well. They want to take down Flashy Flash simply to prove themselves as stronger than him.
Also, that gorilla that knocked the other out was from the House of Evolution back in the early episodes of season 1, as others pointed out. Remember that the whole goal of that place was to make humans artifically evolve into a superior species. So that gorilla probably was a human at one point, but unlike all these monsters we've been seeing lately, he didn't become a monster by eating monster cells; he was just scientifically altered. The difference is the process. The monster cells make you violent.
You bring up an important point - different "types" of monster have different innate capacities for "going straight" or even "being heroic". Conversely, I'd say some of the A-class and S-class heroes seem inhuman enough to have been potentially classified as "monsters" - if they hadn't pre-emptively aligned themselves with the Hero Association and decided to do (more-or-less) heroic things instead of freely abusing their powers.
Your first paragraph, was that really explained thoroughly in the episode? Because I remember the relationship between the four of them is explained later in the comic. If that is the case, you're spoiling her.
@@therealman7032 No, it wasn't made clear in the episode at all, from what I remember. But from what I remember, in the manga, it was in this same scene confronting Sonic where that was revealed. That's why I brought it up.
The redundancy ninja name clan is one of my favorite running jokes ever since Genos mentioned it I made list of all the ninja characters. Their names are repetitions of the previous descriptor 😂
I also love that Sonic is the only person that consumed the monster cell in a civilized manner - cooking a living cell obviously kills it but the symbolism is great, he's not that kind of gross

And actually even genos couldn't tell that goketsu was literally nothing for Saitama because he was the most powerful that genos has ever faced and boros was the most powerful of all but genos didn't even see him so you know
Yeah because saitama's power is unknown, even strong heroes couldn't tell how strong he is and just thought he is stronger than them and that's all, while boros said saitama has infinite power.
saitama only showed a glimpse of his capabilities in their sparring, this might be the reason why he thought that goketsu might be an equal to saitama

Goketsu was roughly as powerful as Carnage Kabuto.

Now that I think about it I don't think I've seen a single reactor recognize cyber-gorilla from season 1 making a cameo in this ep.

"How did you find him so fast?" I mean, Gouketsu was still nearby, and his footsteps were really loud.
I like to think that Genos wanted both S-class heroes and Saitama to fight Goketsu so they would see how strong Saitama is. Genos might have actually been trying to improve Saitama's rank and reputation.
Also, that guy who came in with a message from the Monster Association, but was being taken over by what appears to be some kind of mind-controlling monster parasite? The way those tendrils on his head are moving reminds me of a parasitic worm that takes control of snails, and enters the snail's eye stalks, and moves in a similar way in order to attract birds to eat it. It even has a similar colour pattern.
Genos thought that Gouketsu was so powerful that Saitama and the S-class would need to fight TOGETHER to beat him. It's a real overestimation of Gouketsu's strength.
People in the show are still going off the idea that Saitama is "strong", no one actually understands that he has infinite power.
The S Class heros OR Master Saitama indeed! Then again Genos didn't see the boss fight on the spaceship in the previous season since it was up in the sky.

Genos remembers Saitama commenting on Boros being strong after he fought him and might mistakenly think Goketsu is stronger than Boros was. That’s the only logic I can think of.
We’ll also get development of monsters in season 3 and 4. We might see some monsters that fight with humans.

The conversation between King and Saitama is one of my favorite moments in the series, and it goes to show just how much Saitama trusts and respects King, despite him being one of the weakest heroes he has ever met. I don't think we've seen Saitama open up like this with someone before, not even Genos

If she liked the fact that Shiryu wanted to be Saitama's disciple. She'll certainly love Saitama's current "hero fan club" in the manga. What's funny is that according to the webcomic, he'll get the admiration of more heroes as the series go on.
hopefully on season 3 of OPM we'll get to see Garou's full transformation and also Tatsumaki's(Terrible Tornado) fight with Saitama.
That was a TURRIBLE assessment by Genos. Goketsu is super powerful, but there are at least a few S-Class who could beat him 1 on 1. Tatsumaki absolutely bodies Goketsu. And Genos should freaking know that Saitama beats Goketsu. It's even dumber if you read the transcript for the audio book Genos' Training, which is official canon, and takes place literally right before Goketsu smashes him. Genos knows well that a strong Dragon Level can smash him in 1 or 2 punches due to what happens in that book.
Maybe Genos was in shock. 🤷♂️
