- hey, I'm melon, first time watching One Punch Man episode 2x11 reaction. Always wanted to watch it, but never got around to it. But now you can watch my journey with me:)

Genos is like Iron Man. Because he learns from his mistake.
Tatsumaki buried him, so he had a thruster system for getting out of the ground.
He lost his limbs many times during fights, so he had them be remote controlled, and reattachable.
Yeah, the more Genos loses but survives, he just gets stronger.
Instead of focusing on how he is losing, I always thought of how much he has improved compared to before.
It's great character development when you remember that back in early season 1 Genos was ready to self destruct at the first sign of defeat.

Hey Melon, have you ever noticed that just like Ironman, whenever Genos is defeated, he comeback with upgrade that counter the reason why he lost.

6:36 No, he didn't. Not every hero there is in A-Class. Glasses and 3 of the others there are B-Class, while the other 4 are A-Class. Glasses did not take credit from Saitama in that flashback; it simply motivated him to work harder as a hero.
And it also motivated him to quit Blizzard group.

woah i watched this countless times with reactors and myself and this is the first time somebody pointed out the arrows. that's some high lvl perception. kudos.
They're not all A class heroes. He went over it in the last episode, I think like 4 of them are only A class and the gohan dude is only a B class, but regardless wounded like that against more then one A class is still crazy af

I hate that they removed a huge chunk of Glasses' backstory. The fact that Tatsumaki shattered his confidence, Saitama restored it, the fact his tracksuit is just a green copy of Saitama's old blue one, and the fact he's starting to surpass members of the Fubuki Group after he quit the team really makes him a likeable character.

This is story of a bonus chapter from manga
He joined Blizzard bunch and they went on to take a guy with class B bounty and he could do nothing so they didn't split the points equally as there were 20 of them
Then a demon level monster appeared
Who even defeated fubuki , then to save her tatsumaki came
And she told gohan that u have to be born with powers and defeated the monster
Then he lost all his confidence and tatsumaki called him weak and mocked him
But he monster regenerated then came saitama , he was quite relaxed
He asked Saitama to run for his live as he was lowest rank in class c back then but he didn't run away
Gohan said to Saitama that you are weak , u are class c , u weren't born with powers etc. Etc.
Then Saitama one punched him and said

Man I remember seeing this segment in the manga so many years ago now, shit hasn't even popped off yet but I remember how cool this was then. Though its almost a joke compared to the crazy shit that comes later!
Its so sad knowing whats to come but we are years away from seeing it unfold on screen. Rover, Black Sperm, and Evil Natural Water.

You say that Garou surpassed Bang, but that's just going by what Garou FELT. There's a gulf between saying you're stronger, and PROVING it. Further, that was a while ago. Bang may be a bit older but during that time, he might not have been standing still... there's no rule says a teacher can't keep learning, too. (Especially since one of the show's core morals is that it's always important to keep learning!)

Garou is the best character in the whole series by a large margin, he's a god in s3 and s4.
Those heroes may have been Class A, but they were lower class when it came to their morals. They went after Garou not only for justice, but for their own personal clout.
They need to take notes from King - "What does it mean to be a hero?"
S-class heroes are even worse in that sense, except for Pig God.

I have watched this episode so many times and never caught the arrows being back. Very nice catch......Just a heads up, there is a version of this with way better subs. I have both versions, and this specific episode especially is very sloppy IMO.

I'm 80% sure this is where Garou kills the android, which makes Gohan turn SSJ2.
So, for some reason the anime doesn't explain why Garou's hair turned red. From the way they showed it it's first seems like it's red because of the blood, but the manga explains that he's going through a monster transformation, and the red hair is the first phase of that.

Garo fatigued, injured, poisoned and dehydrated 3rd fight in a row? 8 A+B class, then S Class Genos, then nr. 3 S Class Silverfang, he got progressively harder fights in a progressively worse shape. If he'd be 100% then I think he could beat Bang because he has the better boddy, he's in his prime, but as it stands...
As we see in manga, it took him several level ups to compete with Bang.

Garou's hair was NOT supposed to suddenly turn orange like that BTW. He got more and more blood in it throughout his fights, and the streaks were supposed to get more pronounced until large portions of his hair turned reddish from all the blood, gradually making him look more like a monster the more he fought. His hair never fully turned red like this in the manga. But I guess they didn't have more detailed hair coloring in the budget for the anime? lol -_-

I don't think it's much of a spoiler since you finished season 2 already, but season 3 is gonna finish up the garou arc and yes it is the garou arc. prepare for some of the best fights in anime.

@@nilesh3646 serious side jump was the move against sonic, he did it to copy him, he didn't want to kill him, like the fake punch to genos or the hit to sonic balls, wasn't a serious attack, serious table flip is in the arc of cosmic garou, way further than the last season, and then the time line resets, so its kinda off a filler for now

I never understood why people empathize with Garou, he is in my eyes a pathetic man-child, and that's coming from somebody that loves YuGiOh
Suiryu was the man child, since he was confident only when he had the advantage.
Garou is the opposite of that, he grows with adversity.
Idk, he just makes you wants to root for him.
Bruh garou is literally the best written character in opm , i could understand calling him a man child if you have watched only the anime.
But if you have red the webcomic, easy to tell he is a great character and definitely make sense.
Because he raises a good point: Gauro points out that the popular are always seen as the absolute best and get nothing but praise, while the unpopular, no matter how hard they try, are disrespected and don't get proper acknowledgement for their efforts. Like in the flashback, Gauro pointed out that the villain from the TV show was fighting the hero on equal terms and had a legitimate reason for fighting against people. If the hero hadn't had back up, the villain would've won. It fought an unfair fight and lost, despite proving capable. But no one cared about the villains reasons, only that they were against the hero. Gauro got treated the same way when he was bullied and no one bothered to help him out or see his side of the story. They just sided with the bully, because they were popular and had more people in their side. To Gauro, that's bullshit that the popular people get all the love, while the unpopular get shitted on. Gauro sums it up that he wants everyone to feel when the "little guy" (unpopular) steps up and starts bashing on the popular (in this case, heroes). And he's not really wrong.

In the manga, they made the choice to end that chapter with the picture of Bang destroying Garo. They could have too in the anime, it would have taken 1 second more, they chose not to probably because they thought it would be a bigger cliffhanger. It's a stupid choice from the anime imho, because seeing Bang totally destroying him instantly was 1.awesome 2.raised actually more questions about what will happen next.
They chose the cheap alternative, as often in adaptations.

go back in previous ep and see your reaction and see that guy in green jacket is B class not A class hero at least keep up with the story.
