I have a similar color but I dyed it brown only from the roots to about 4 inches down. I rinsed it out, let it dry and did those colors on the lower blonde hair. It was a 2 step process but totally worth it💙

Thank you! The product used that will give you the silver blue effect is the ion color brilliance in shark blue. However, the ion line of colors available includes a silver in the name titanium which you can mix with whatever fashion color you would like to give you the metallic silver effect.

what color was your hair before? it would help to know. I'm a brunette with a fading dark brown and want to go this color but can't afford to pay 170 out of my pocket so I'd like to do it on my own from sallys. what else do u recommend if I can't find that specific conditioner u listed at Sally's?

Any cheap white conditioner works. You have to bleach your hair first tho. And I recomment using a color remover like color oops.

I just ask bec i'm planning to go violet and silver and the "after" look was pretty spot on to what i was envisioning. althea mateo According to my person experience with light color hair, they fade out super. You can see the color change after EVERY wash. A blue tone grey hair will fade to a green tone grey hair after 4 wash. That’s just me. If your hair is healthy it won’t fade as fast. But 2 months are the maximum I say....

For the record the conditioner being white means nothing. Conditioner as a diluter will wash out the intensity of a vivid shade
