My unit has intermittent spark as well. It will only spark if I set the gap on the spark plug to where the electrodes are almost touching. Then it runs great. When I go to shut it off and start it again, it won't spark unless I clean the electrode and set the gap again. I tried a new spark plug, same results. I wonder if it has a grounding issue...

That is what happened on that unit in video, just a ground to the metal frame was loose
