Belizean Milk Cake | Boil Milk Frosting | Lemon Curd Filling

If you'd like to make Belizean Milk Cake that is moist and light then this is the recipe for you. This cake uses all the basic ingredients that would normally be found in your pantry. The frosting is made from boiling a can of sweetened condensed milk to make a caramel that's commonly knowsn as dulce de leche. The filling is made from home made lemon curd.
Ingredients
1 1/8 c. salted butter (softened)
2 1/3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. pineapple or lemon extract
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour (sifted)
1 T. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt if you use unsalted butter
10 oz. evaporated milk
Lemon Curd
1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk
1/3 c. lemon juice
Frosting
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
Method
Boil in the can on stove top for 3 hours
or
Cook on high in the "Crockpot" for 8 hours
or
Cook in pressure cooker on "canning" Set the time on 30 minutes

I've made the milk in my crock pot before only thing is i poured the milk into a glass jar and put the top on it, i made sure the water covered the glass and just let cook, the glass allows you to see how brown the milk is getting without burning it came out perfect😉.
