- Cold Cake is one of Belize’s favorite desserts. This was something my mom made often for us. It had just the right amount of sweetness. I remember how refreshing it was in the tropical heat of Belize.

2 cans (7.6 oz each) nestle media crema
½ cup sweetened condensed milk

I love cold cake!! I do it a bit differently, instead of media crema, I use Philadelphia cheese mixed with some juice of the fruits and a little sugar if needed. I'd like to try it this way too 😋

My daughter loves marias biscuits since she was a child. I bought them just for her. Never seen this cake before. Looks good.

Hi Shirani, it's been 1 year since I left you a comment on the meat pies video. We in Chetumal (Mexico) also eat cold cake but we prepare it a little bit different, instead of using media crema, we use a whole can of sweet condensed milk, 1 can of evaporated milk and add lemon juice to the mixture to thicken and give that fresh and tangy flavor, please try this version of cold cake and see if you like it. Also I would like to ask for your recipe of belizean lemon meringue pie, hope you can! Thank you for sharing your recipes with us! 🙏🙌

It's made almost the same way, instead of cookies it's made with cake, sometimes stale cake
