That's been a rather fantastic vid, I'm terribly sorry that it's only 17 minutes long, looking forward for more posh vids from you guys!
More? What kind of lesson would you like? Thank you for taking the time to comment đ
An advanced grammar vid would really hit the spot, e.g. a really comprehensive vid on conditionals.
You are a very capable teacher
Thank you so much for your kind comment đ
May we use slang words in office?

All your lessons are great and I am interested in but we need subtitle if you dont mind, thank you in advance.
akram alkhulidi thank you for your comment. There are English subtitles...would you like us to provide a link for other nationalities to add their language?
Hi Leila,
Loooooooooots of thanks for such spiffing stuff.
I hope I used them correctly in this context :)
It's really one of your most fascinating lessons and videos, especially with your high ability to mimic those actresses who play roles of aristocratic ladies in the English society in films like "A Tale Of Two Cities" :)
Could u please suggest me, or us if anybody else is interested, 15 British Films to watch to listen to authentic British accent in its daily normal pace, not as in educational materials as they are far slower than in films.
Thanks in advance and thousands thumb up
Cheers,
Ahmad,
Hi Ahmad, firstly, thank you for the very kind comment! It really made me smile! đ Iâll try do di a video on the best British films to learn English, but if you want to hear a clear accent, I love Nottinghill, Bridget jones, Love Actually and James Bond is always a good choice! Just some of my personal favourites! đđđ
Love English with Leila & Sabrah

When I hear you say "Golly Gosh", something comes into my mind that " Oh my God, Indian movie."
Nice
Thanks! đ
Nice video Maam
Thank you đ
Does poppycock have the same meaning of codswallop?
I may go out with my chap tomorrow
I usually say 'lush', 'peckish', 'flabbergasted', 'bonkers'. đ
By the way, isn't the word 'adjective' pronounced /ËĂŠ.dÊ.ÉȘk.tÉȘv/, with the stress on the first syllable?
Oh bugger! It has been yonks since you made this! But golly gosh, it is terribly good. Iâm quite chuffed to have found this rather spiffing video
you are spiffing teacher
Cherrieo,Liela!
Toodle-pip
Well what is the meaning of Posh slang? Could you please explain me?
âTa taâ and âtatty byeâ are more usual today than âtoodle pipâ. My father-in-law always asked âHowâs tricks?â for how are you? He also used to ask if âweâd had a gay timeâ! Couldnât say that today!
;L))
spiffing vediođ
I not sure with one i like between golly gosh! and oh bugger! but I do like you Leila. smile
i will join lingoda I'm so busy this time later
đđ
Is yonks the short form of donkey's years?
hi girls, i need to start one to one lessons. what should i do?
Have you tried lingoda? I have tried it myself and genuinely think they have good teachers. Itâs worth a try đ
ich mag dich sehr â€
Thank you for the video! You said âWhat tosh!â Does that mean that the noun âtoshâ uncountable?
To: Ekaterina Sogny - Yes it would. "What tosh" can be equated to 'What nonsense' or 'what rubbish'. Other word replacements for tosh could be 'balderdash'', ''piffle', 'tripe' and 'twaddle'.
Peter Moody Thank you!
Great explanation! With som fantastic synonyms đđ
To: Love English with Leila & Sabrah - Thank you for your kindness of thought Leila, but I fear it is misplaced. Whilst I do not possess the academic credentials to be considered an authority, like your good self, it is to be hoped that after my entire fifty-nine years of exposure to the language, i would have acquired a modicum of understanding as to its practice and application; ha,ha!
Nonetheless, once again, thank you.
I think teachers can often become focussed on the grammar and rules of a language and overlook important aspects of how a language is really spoken, so a native speakerâs input is always welcome. Thank you âșïž
Rather good, I should admit!)
But, was it 'yo*u*ks' or' yo*n*ks'?
Thanks, indeed!)
Yonks
please answer my question Why do you say Lets get started and not lets start
Fawlty Towers is SPIFFING funny lol
Yes it really is! We love Fawlty Towers đđ

I love reading people in the comments having a crack at some slang. It's very cute. đ
Hi there, to be chuffed to bits sounds working class English.

Bugger..we were always told of for saying.
