Purdy yelling "Stay there stay there stay there!" on the McCaffrey touchdown was a great read. That extra blocker made the difference.
It’s looks like that which really undermine the whole “Purdy is a game manager QB” insult. He may not have the craziest arm but he’s developing the ability to read a defense like a book.
Not the extra blocker as much as getting the box in his favor. With him lined up on that side the weak side of the box was mismatched in the offenses favor. Zone running teams can be a nightmare to line up against because of this. Constant motions and heavy alignments can break a big one off of any gap errors by the defense.
i think he knew the play clock was running out so they didn't have time for any motion

I haven't been into football for years, it's hard to watch someone like rodgers with so much skill and talent with little motivation or emotion or team support, just felt dysfunctional and he took very little risk in his later years, seemed more concerned with personal stats than trying to win games. And rodgers always wanted to be a 49er and always lost to them, wonder why. But again we end up with a Californian qb in green bay, I imwgin3 love will be back with a vengeance if the niners even end up being in our path on the way to the super bowl next year. At 7:04 just before the ball is hiked for Mcaffery to run for a touchdown, you can hear Purdy shouting at backup TE Woerner who wants to go in motion, "Stay there, stay there, stay there!" So he does and blocks and its a TD. Clutch quarterbacking.
Brock nearly lost them the game, we’ll be waiting happily for them in the SB for another blowout
I was not impressed with Green Bay's play-calling early on and the final interception was just insane from a NFL quarterback. He throws against his body and was ten yards off of target to a guy that was free and clear.

The fact that Shanahan didn’t call a timeout to me looked crazy, but looking back it was a definite mind game. He showed how much he trusted his offense to get things done in those crucial final minutes
Timeout? Why on earth would he call a timeout? Time wasn't a factor. You want to score and not leave any time for the Packers. It was even stupid when McCaffery went out of bounds a couple plays before the TD. They ended up leaving a full minute on the clock, which is an eternity.
@purplepainforums an eternity for a HoF QB like Aaron Rodgers. A minute for Jordan Love? Takes him just under 20 seconds of possession to blow the game with a pick. Guy has a STACKED, young receiving core and couldn't get anything done. Bad reads taking that 4th down turnover, too.

Packers earned every ounce of respect for coming into Santa Clara and taking arguably the best team in the conference down to the wire. Jordan Love has really matured into a franchise QB and I look forward to running it back against them for many years to come. That being said, go Niners ❤️💛

Packers should be optimistic about Love for sure but he sold this game lol. Matt Lefleur had their receivers and TE’s wide open all night (which disturbs me greatly as a niners fan) and Love just got worse as the game went on, which is the last thing you want in a playoff game

As a packers fan. I came into this season as a whole with low expectations. Even though our season ends here, I have to say I’m really looking forward to next season.

As a Packers fan, I can't pretend to not be feeling anything but extreme pride to watch our "throwaway" and "house-money" team go this far and to almost pull it off against one of the most highly-regarded teams in the NFL. Great game. Packers are really impressive how far they have come this season. So young and tons of potential. Great coaching. It’s going to cool to see this team next season. Niners are very lucky to get this win considering they were outplayed most of the game. Purdy doesn’t play better the Niners will be watching the SB.
