Black Templars don't use the Iron Cross, they use the Maltese Cross.
This
He's English you can't expect him to know proper Catholic imagery
@lanasmith4795 and I'm an american pagan. Yet I know.
Ooh, I'm going right now and paint the traditional schwastika that existed in several cultures for centuries on all my... what's that? Doesn't matter? You say people will just read it, formally, as something they are more familiar with anyway? Even though it is the reverse direction? Dang it!
@manleycreative7115 The only similarity between a Maltese cross and an iron cross is that they're both crosses. The difference between historical and religious symbol swastika (sunwheel) and the WW2 one is the angle, sometimes direction.
Not really comparable.

@@wordbearer0815you're the same as Imp nights just more annoying...
It says that despite having a mortgage, wife, child, and car, 40K is STILL the thing that makes you go "bloody hell that's expensive"
I literally said that earlier today in my local gw when I found out a repulsor is £15 more than a predator! 😂
Come out to the pub with me one day... An hour in and I'll have drunk a box of custodes wardens. :(
@@StigPriceNo shit 😂. People act like it's so expensive. Without stopping to think. I have a friend I was hanging out with one day, and he just bought some green. And while we were sitting there smoking he was like how can you afford to play Warhammer, it's to expensive. I looked over at him and said, bro u just dropped $125 on Maryjane that will last you a week.10 more dollars and you could have bought a beginner army with a Combat Patrol box, that will last you for years to come. He proceeded to look at me like his brain just exploded. People don't stop to think what they already waste their money on.
@@NedRigNerd as a smoker who goes through an ounce a month. I know if I quit smoking, and spent the money on Warhammer instead. I would end up with 3k points of every army after 2 years.
Male Tyranid player here:
I grew up playing Zerg in Starcraft. Some things don't change as a person grows.
You probably already know this but StarCraft was originally designed as a Warhammer game but the liscencing fell through and so blizzard turned the tyranids into the zerg
Let it be known that on this day, Northen Exile is now in the book of grudges, and the Leagues of Votann do not forgive, and we do not forget.
Put it in the BOOK!!
2 grudge tokens for the grudge gods. Would have been 3 but the grudge gods changed the rules.
Another name in the great book, written in Kahl's blood.
I can see it now.
Tomorrow's headlines:
Estranged ex-Warhammer manager proclaims 'NECRONS ARE GAY AND TAU CAN GO SWIVEL ON DICKS!' Film at eleven.
As an Imperial Guard fan its funny seeing a Grey Knights player think Imperial Knights should get out of their mech suit and fight like a man.
Shots fired.
@@IsengrinTheGreen at the guard.
As a guard and knight fan I too thought the same thing.
1:02:42 Ork player here. Can confirm. Got my son into 40k by telling him Ork lore stories while driving around town.
I was a fantasy Orc player and rage-quit when AOS came out. Telling my son about the Ork lore of 40K got me back in touch with my inner Green and I put my first model together with him last year after an eight year hiatus. For Da Revolution!
Im 25 years old. I have a wife and a young son. I work 2 jobs and am going to college. When I get a few minutes, I like to paint my Adeptus Custodes.
The only things I'd add, in my experience. Imperial guard players tend to be ex-army, for obvious reasons, and ultramarine players tend to be American. I think it's because they like good-guy stories and/or happy endings, whereas we Brits like our stories to be more morally grey. I could be wrong but that's what I've noticed.
I am army. I play guard.
I am American. I play loyalist space marines.
Well, I'll be damned.
I'm American and play Ultramarines.
How dare you. Stop stalking me!
North forgot the Leagues, that goes in the bloody book! Got me though, I'm a dad and I also play Orks and don't really sweat about whether I win or lose.
100% on the brass armour thing for chaos. Painting all that shite on a heldrake is soul destroying .
Only to discover how shit its rules are! :D
@@averagecayde6enjoyer520 I know, it's such a shame as well as they're the coolest looking model in the game imo. I still play one just for that reason.

TRIM FOR THE TRIM GOD
tyranids are the only faction that gives birth as a battle mechanic
The Sisters of Battle are not space marines and we shouldn’t conflate them. It does a disservice to the unique lore and background of both
*looks at my chaos demons*
Don't worry lads, one day they'll appreciate us
At least my guard got covered but my Tzeentch Deamons seem to be skipped lol
Thousand Sons player here. I don't hate my trim, I bathe in it. I love playing the game with guile and trickery, luring my opponents to exactly where I want them so I can pick them apart in a nice sweep.
TRIM FOR THE TRIM GOD
Suuuuuuuuch a good episode north
I really like these long format videos , it really gives you time to warm up and really start riffing, you had so many golden funny moments in this and im only at imperial knights 😂the dark elder bit had me keeled over
I got into necrons because I started my 40k journey with the infinite and the divine. That was January I think. Now I have an 1000 point painted necrom army with more to paint as well as a trazyn and orikan. Although I regret building the necrons ghost ark. It was a nightmare.
Leagues of Votann:
Their player base only listens to "Diggy diggy hole" by Wind Rose. On a loop. All day.
They tend to live with around 6 other men of diminutive height and sub to a pale-skinned female - it's their kink.

That Space Wolves summary...... PERFECTION 💚
LIKES FOR THE LIKE GOD; COMMENTS FOR THE COMMENT THRONE!
Every video, every time. Well done.
I started with and now collect Admech and I am an electrical and telecommunications Engineer for Renewable Energy Power Plants. My job entails SCADA and IT, which essentially feels like praying to the Machine God for it to work at times. 😅
I play Orks. At 1.86cm I weigh 100kg as a recreational bodybuilder. The absolute ludicrousy of their Lore and models and the give NO FUCK playstyle is too damn fun. I am a simple man, the bigger and crazier the Ork, the better. It's a lot like the gym. Da biggest lad is da b0ss.
I just started GSC. I started liking them because they remind me of the cults in Dead Space. The more I learned of the actual lore, the more I like them. Essentially, in their eye they truly are the good guys. The underdog. Bringint about heaven on earth, fighting the evil fascsit regime. But actually, they are extremely evil 😂
as a templar fan (one of the majority) thank you for being so kind to us, most of us just wanna paint black space marines and play as the sororitas but space marines and male most of us probably saw helsreach and went "YES I WANNA PLAY THAT FACTION"
Only thing I'd add to Imperial Guard is:
Many of them are ex-military. So many that MordianGlory has to constantly tell people he wasn't in the military. Also we love Underdogs and the Guard are the Underdogs in every fight they find themselves in.
As for Necrons, I remember you saying in a hobby nightmare maybe over a year ago that your theory was that women are used to not being directly represented in more masculine Hobby's so they naturally go to factions that represent no one, the soulless robots and the space bugs.
WWI enthusiast. Thanks lol. And th Lion fought back against Vashtor and Angron when he came back. He foumd his some through his new warp ability "forrest walk". When he does this, he traverses the ancient forests of old Caliban in a dream like state and then he walks out of it at his desired destination. He also 1 tapped Angron in the face with a shield bash. All of this happened in the Arks of Omen where Abbadon and Vashtor teamed up to find pieces of a mega weapon. And in the book "The Lion: Son of the Forrest".
Sorry for the bad grammar and spelling, I was exhausted while typing this.
"one tapped" really means "jammed it through angrons skull after fighting a grueling battle on a mechanical nightmare of a planet"
As a male tyranid player, i think the driving factor for tyranids is just that they dont care. They want to eat and float around in space. There are not annoying moral dillemas, politics, etx. One great comment on some tyranid lore video wisely asserted that while everybody else is playing a strategy game, tyranids are playing a chews your own adventure
I feel a little slighted as a Deathwatch player... ;) I play them because, as a former Marine, they are the most realistic take on what Space Marines in 40k would be like compared to their 30k ancestors. Given the loss of so many Astartes to the Heresy and ongoing attrition over the millennia, it only makes sense to put all the Space Marines together and then deploy them tactically rather than strategically. I know GW maintains all the different Chapters for the lore and for players to be able to create a spot for their personal armies in that lore, but the Deathwatch is how you would realistically muster and deploy your Astartes. Keep the traditions and training of the different Legions, but blend them all together into a cohesive force that can be deployed consistently with a mix of Legion strengths and minimization of their individual weaknesses. Maintaining the Chapter structure is a detriment to the Imperium.
Black Templar players: 'Hans, are we the baddies?'
Raven Guard players: 'Now take your weird purse and get the hell out of my vinyl shop!'
Imperial Knights players: 'You mean there used to be big ass battle mechs but you couldn't play them in 40K? What's that, GW repurposed those as smaller mechs for use in 40K?'
Ork players: 'Get that finger out of you ear. You don't know where that finger's been!'
Salamander players: 'I like turtles'.
Imperial Fists players: 'I like yellow turtles'.
Drukari players: 'Cocaine's a helluva drug'.
As a Salamanders main(have 4 2k points armies of them) I do like turtles, but I prefer fires and hammers. Then again I'm a carpenter who also does smithing...
I have collected a couple of the Drukari pirate ships just because I like the look of the imaginative spikey space pirate designs. Researching their lore definitely weirded me out quite a bit though lol. Now I especially don't intend to be a Drukhari player lmfao. I plan on modifying my White Scars army paint jobs to reflect more of the space biker aesthetic with stylized lightning and flame decals.
That Dark Eldar player description?
Nailed it like a voodoo doll.
That's me.
Me at the take on Imperial Guard: oh come on, that's an overexaggeration.....
Me looking into my shelf and see a spend 20mm case: ah, goddammit.....
i play tyranids to give opponents epic last stands and hero moments and star ship trooper games and to let my friends into the game playing against my guard
First of all, as a Pantstealer Heretic myself, that was a low blow there with that Necromunda comment 🤣 Second, us GSC players also play the faction because we have a friend who plays Nids and we dream of an epic, narrative wargame session of an actual Ascension Day, but none of our other friends want to play ANY kind of game that involves slogging through two horde armies for like 10+ hours.
Also we bought the army because we thought we could be super sneaky with Cult Ambush tactics only to find we a) suck at strategizing with that and b) got horribly nerfed by GW, as expected.
The only encounters I've had with black templar players have all been poor. Online I've been called slurs by four of them and the one I met in person brought a couple knights with him and had corpses strung up on them, all of which had black skin. He must've noticed me staring because he gave me the most knowing smirk I've ever seen.
Primarily guard here! You are mostly right, I am an American history fan focusing on the “old west” and made my guard army in a cowboy theme.
My secondary army got skipped lol (Tzeentch Deamons).
I have purple, green, and gold Decepticon Necrons. Decepticrons.
My Chariot, for example, is black, and has purple/pink panel lines based on The Nemesis from the 'For Cybertron' transformers franchise.
Funfact about the blood angels so i play in Liverpool our warhammer store is in Liverpool central station we can't have ultramarines on display because they got complaints and broken windows, we can't display blood angles for the same reasons. So we now display salamanders.
My wife and daughter have recently got into the hobby and chose tyranids. I asked why and they said why would i want to be human when i can be cool bugs. Just my personal anecdote.
And then there's me, yearning to go back to 3rd-4th edition Necrons, taking ages to paint a single C'tan-damned model, and turbo anti-DEI (I take issues with the way it is handled/weaponised).
*See's image of Space Wolves* "Oh fuck off!" 😂
As a Deathwatch player I am glad you did Marines in general. Quite literally I am stuck in that kid phase when it comes to the hobby. Oh look at that one with a freakin sword, BTE that dude looks AWESOME! GW Store opening day I am there in line and just could not decide on whom to play and then BOOM! There they are in black with silver arms and I found out this is the best, of THE BEST Marines from every chapter (even your homebrewed) and they kick alien ass. SOLD, and I have commited my entire Marine collection that wasn't painted to Deathwatch. Now to get some real games of 10th in before last week of May for my first tournament
Also friend took over the store recently and praised me for being THE Deathwatch guy.
Man of good taste.
So I'm new to the hobby (starter kit is all I have) when it comes to my army in between black Templar and necrons
And if all i collect are daemons of Tzeentch? Maybe a few possesed mortals so long as they're dedicated enough?
As a blood angel guy, they are my first 40K love just because I started 40K with the 2nd Ed box set all those years ago in the hobby and just before that, they were on the box art of space crusade in the late 80’s which happened to be on the cover of the first white dwarf I ever had 😊
As tyranid player for 20+ years now, it's definitely also the fact that I'm an entomology/zoology nerd as well. I looooove the taxonomic feel of the old codexes. And to top it off, I'm also a huge Lovecraft fan, so the gribblies!!!!
Maybe it's because they're a hive mind? >.>
I have 5 40K armies. The Blood Angles was my first army. I still work on them to use in 30K. I like the lore around the Blood Angles because they are flawed. I started to use characters since playing 30K. Mainly because of the points. Red is my favorite colors. I like to scratch build vehicles and convert models. That is why I like Chaos, Orks and Guard. I get to build my own versions.
As a 32 year old Drukhari player who is heavy set and not a goth, I am an outlier lol, I like them because they were like one of the only armies in 40k that aren't in ugly bulky battle armour, I literally chose them because of the way they look before I knew anything about their lore, that said I almost went regular eldar but I ended up going Drukhari after reading both of their lore, I like that they're evil, I like that they're crazy but mostly I like that they're survivors.
Thousand Sons player, I definitely fall in the "revel in it" side of chaos. Personally I just love the idea of blasting everyone and everything on the table with magic, even if that doesn't work well against high toughness (for anyone but Magnus or a souped in Lord of Change) this edition.
I feel like I'm in the minority of fluffy Eldar players, I just wanted to paint them because their sleek and brightly coloured aesthetic stood out amongst the sea of harsh grimdark armies. I still always get tarred with the 'WAAC meta chaser' brush when people see what army I collect, so your take is probably accurate
The attraction of Nids and Necrons to women seems to be not one of inherent appeal but that the other factions have greater captivation to men.
Remove this masculine eye and the other factions lose standing.
As far as the black templars go, what many don’t realize is that the “good” ones and the “bad” ones are just two sides of the same coin. It’s like the difference between the manchild who throws his models when he loses vs the relatively normal 40k guys who are just quietly disappointed. They’re the same guy doing the same things, for the same reasons. It’s just that one knows how to be chill and normal and one doesn’t. This does NOT make the good black Templar players you know bad, but I bet you money that way more of them than you’d think were quietly disappointed when they saw that black black Templar. AND THATS OK
Not too familiar with Black Templars but I guess it depends on how they recruit. If they all come from the same geneseed like other Chapters then a black BT is diversity inclusion and equity nonsense. If they're like Deathwatch and they recruit from wider pools then it makes sense.
not mentioning perterabo is very lore accurate
For me I play tau because they are the most lawful good faction in Warhammer and I love Farsights awakening
Back when I played Epic (early to mid 90's), I specifically picked Ultramarines because they weren't special. They were soldiers who adhered to the Codex, rather than having to be "special" on top of being superhuman. Hated factions like Space Wolves...Not only Space Marines, but Space Vikings too! Wankers. To be fair though, there wasn't the massive over exposure back then.
Heh. I didnt play 40k yet, but im getting there slowly. I collect:
Ultramarines - i like blue/gold aesthetic, i like that they have roman motives, and i like empire-building attitude. I know for many Guilliman is not cool, but being great fighter is nothing if all your victories falls to nothing in the end. Empire need to be maintained to survive. When i play strategy games i like to have good economy, because then you can afford good army. Also after years of paiting tzeentch (aos) i love how easy is to paint space marines. Relaxing.
Thousand sons - like i said i like blue/gold aesthetic, i also like magic. But i admit that it is painful for me to paint. It was obvious chocice after tzeentch in age of sigmar, i already have tzaangors. Im kinda sad that Magnus is not competent, and it takes ages to paint.
I wanted to collect Dark Angels because it was first sm chapter i wanted to collect ever. But my friend already collect them, and i prefer Ultramarines and thats too much plastic.
I want to collect Adeptus Mechanicus, i have few boxes, but then i say how small it is and full of details and i paused it. Maybe some day. I like science and cyberpunk. Army of cyborgs should be cool. Also models are so cool.
I wanted to collect Tyranids, because i played zerg in starcraft, but painting many models can be painful. Also sometimes its nice to be bad guy on the tabletop.
I wanted to collect Orks just for the lolz. Maybe later.
Im sad i started from Age of Sigmar, my heart is closer to 40k. Also i would prefer chaos to be more free, not so mind controlled by chaos gods.
Cool, thanks. I collect two factions out of this entire list, and you had nothing but good and accurate things to say about the fan base that chooses those factions, at least things i agree that are accurate about myself. I wonder if my friends would agree with you about themselves and their factions.
Some hard hitting things in this video for me.
1: I am 31 and just started a Custodes Army….
2: I collect Tyranids and am now questioning my manhood…
3: I have an Ultramarine army BUT! A friend gifted me the old combat patrol and that’s just what I’ve stuck with since.
Ultramarines are the best though…….
Cheers, I'm also thirty one and starting 40k with custodes. Only landed on them because If The Emperor Had A Text-to-speach Device is my favorite 40k related "lore". It is my head canon for the setting, our glorious emperor is back and he has plans!
@@skriznacrunthunner2178 I wish I could find minis that looked like those Custodes.
@@Ragingturtle92 i was on etsy last November and saw some oily boys or oily torches cant remember what they were called but found them by searching custodes on Etsy. They were the group of companions that had shed their armor and constantly annoyed/belittled the golden sun cat ( captain general) $40 for a set of four, only remember three in the show but I'll just have to set one aside when I assemble my thematic army
I'm a Dark Angels fan, and I laughed at the meme you made.
Why necrons players don't take it super seriously: they have the most bonkers technology, read infinite and the devine, they are the army where you can create armour about of crystallised space-time. Have fun
Ffs, I don’t agree with the imperial fist slander but my friends have described like this before lol
Enemy at the gates promotes vile historical inaccurary. Heresy!
Genestealer Cult player here. I grew up in my dads machine shop and just like the heavy industry vibes. Also know what those types of machines do to people who don't pay attention and love the idea of having them as weapons. Also like the bugs and guard so I am building a forces of the hive mind collection 😅
The irritation at a black Black Templar may not be what you think. Space marines, regardless of origin, take after their gene father.
Some go very pale and others pitch black like the Salamanders. Dorn has pale skin and white hair.
I wasn’t there and can’t assess the specific situation, but I want to play devil’s advocate and point out there are more benign reasons someone would be annoyed at that.
I’m trying to choose a faction. And right now I’m either favoring eldar or imperial knights or if it wasn’t so expensive admech. God I’m just so shit at painting that I’m very close to saying knights just cause of that.
HAHAHA, I play Tau and you nailed me to a T, a dad that started playing WH40k when Tau first came out, I was a brisk 17yrs old back then
I'm a bloke and my first army was tyranids but I started with them because I was obsessed with Alien at the time. My second army, which I have been playing since 3.5th edition, was the one that spoke to me the most and I'm still playing today. I wish someone had told me back then that identifying as an Iron Warrior was a red flag for autism. Oh well better late than never XD
I'm fairly new to the gaming side of 40k and I run Salamanders . I only have played 5 games and so far all the people I have played against so far are knights both chaos and imperial, and a Bug player that only had big bugs. So my list is pretty skewed anymore because nobody seems to have a balanced or painted list for my experience.
Shhh, it's ok brother, Vulkan lives. Hug your flamer and your hammer and just breathe. Then repeat after me, OnePageRules.
Imperial Fists: "We just want to play without drama"
Never met a person who sends me to sleep quite like a grey knight player
I would LOVE to see a OPR (One Page Rules) BatRep....
I collect Ultramarines. I like the Roman esthetic of the chapter and I'm not very creative when it comes to painting so copying the box it easy for me. its easy to paint them as there are tutorials every where.
Yet another great hot take from the man in the north. I love these videos and the busting of chops just for laughs. Keep up the work North!
Its kinda weird to heard Tyranids player are mainly wolen, cause at my lfgs 4/9 players (all men) are tyranids
Wolves have always been my favourite chapter, I feel like I'm playing some weird midpoint between a space marine and ork army, ie space marines without all the gothic teenage angst (hello templar and dark angels players haha)
Such a contrast going from the "i worked at games workshop" video that blew up to this one 😂
Logan Grimnar would like a word, NE. More importantly, the Axe Morkai has something to say.
Can't wait for this one!
"a lot of dark eldar players are poets":

Ps: I'm a 49yo dad, who has played since 1e. Yes, i play Aeldari and do have a liking for the aethetics of the laydeez. Not a minmaxer by any means though, very fluffy force.
Saving up money right now for the uber expensive Henry Cavill WH40K movie Custodes figure exclusive mail order release with rocket firing mechanism that will most likely get dropped because CM Varrik accidentally choked on it as part of his pre-release promo special.
There's no way I look how North pictures Dark Eldar players, I say to myself as he pulls up a picture. Dreadfully, I am proven wrong.
I'd like to think that at least 65% of Imperial Guard players also listen to the band Sabaton. I'm one of them. I just finished my Commissar a few days ago and "The First Soldier" is a wonderful song.
Gotta admit, you're dead on as to why I picked knights to play. They aren't my favorite lore faction but I can't be arsed to paint or buy that many models and they're the lowest model count faction to field. Cheapest, too, outside grey knights and stodes who I just...can't stand to play.
Only wrong bit is I knew I'd get my ass kicked a lot going in. "Can blow up a knight" is like...the baseline for declaring a unit as a decent damage dealer at this point.
"dark angles fans you are nodding along sagely" Stops mid nod, unsteeples fingers, and starts looking for cameras
This guy just figured out how old i am via my army. Love the heresy haha
But painting custodes aint as easy as you just made it out to be...
You forgot the gems, the lightning on the blades, the edge highlighting.. theres a reason henry cavil has a massive grey pile of shame.
Black templars or dark angels will probably be my next army 😂😂
Cant wait to see what you say about the chaos legions... If you manage to predict which chaos legion I want to play ill he like woah
1:23:05 I feel like this one's unfair. There's sooo many space knights/space greeks chapters. Not to mention knight houses and craftworld eldar
This video is absolute gold!
I may have squealed like a little girl at the MJF reference 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️😂😂
Missed the Blood Angels on fast forward, the Flesh Tearers.
Hey, mate. As an Eldar player and former Dark Angels player I am triggered as feth, dude! Nah, all goods! As an Inquisition fan, uou forgot to mention us! Although they aren't quite an army I guess. Love me some Inquisition after reading the Eisenhorn trilogy and playing and DMing a crap ton of Dark Heresy. Uhh, I am just working on writing down the backstory of my Craftworld Dalorsia and wondering if you're still accepting submissions for Xenos homebrew factions? I'm just fixing up some of my Eldar minis for photos to be included with the submission. Anyway, keep up the great work, dude!
I have a friend who likes Admech. Yes, he is a nerd, with the addition of being religious. It's a bit ironic yes, but he loves the lore and could probably learn about things i wouldn't know about
"their absolute loathing of painting brass"
Me who uses brass trim for my preachers of rot 💀💀
Also the thousand sons Sorceror killing so many Grey Knights like they are nothing does kind of make sense tbf
The grey knights should be nothing compared to one of Magnus legion 😂
Well shit your description of tau players did get me....(dad who was into tau back when they came out) also thanks for the not communist rant.😂
1:19:34 get into during the returns of Guilliman but its still correct, I do acknowledge why people hate Ultramarines, and sometimes enjoy it when people making fun Ultramarines for what they are
LOL.. great stuff. Pissed myself laughing as I am an Ork player and collector from Rogue Trader and the Halcyon days of second Ed. Yeh I probably resemble that. Cheers 😅😆
I can’t lie I did roll my eyes when you made the Dark Angle trader joke.
Also I paint Death Guard (and I am very politically left) BUT I always thought if I was going to do a non-specific Chose god army it would be Iron Warriors.
Hey North, let me help you out with Votann plus Deathwatch from a post I sent before:
Votann
1. You are from Old Oldhammer. You remember when WH40k Rogue Trader first released and had to ask the store manager what the hell is this. Not because you were that confused, but because you had already sunk a lot of what little teenager high school money you had into Warhammer Fantasy Battle and there wasn't even any WH40k minis out yet.
Also, no need to have asked - the manager had already greeted you at the door with a, "Ya see the new game from Games Workshop? Just came out. It's like Fantasy Battle only... IN SPACE!
2. You think Chaos is overblown and has too many spikes. You see Chaos as something a child would select with the mindset of J.J. Abrams when he most assuredly proclaimed, "You know what's cooler than one Star Destroyer?... One hundred Star Destroyers... in ice... with horses riding on them."
3. You are beginning to look like a dwarf in your later years... so bye bye to elves and that svelte look you had to go along with them.
4. Why can't you kids these days just give in to the 'Retro-ray-punk-Stanley-Kubrick-NASA-fake-moonman-futurism-mind-bubble' aesthetic and get some damn class.
Deathwatch
1. You not only couldn't make up your mind on which Space Marine chapter to paint. You not only wanted all of the colors... you wanted an excuse to paint at least a group of custom made veterans as the dfferent chapters for the sake of variety, even if it meant painting all the rest BLACK! You swore you weren't going to just paint everything BLACK again! (See Old oldhammer reference above).
2. You understand how to paint black in a more nuanced way than just actual black.
3. You wanted an excuse to triple down on all that sweet, sweet Inquisition xenos hunter goodness together with the Sisters and Inquisitors.
4. 'Cause fuck Ravenguard!
Ive been a tyranid player since 3rd. I love starship troopers and aliens.
Not really... I prefer Tyranids because of Space Hulk and Aliens. GSC are OKsh
You should check out vtuber Matara Kan, a giant space bug mommy character, who's a middle-aged mom in real life, and loves Tyranids.
