One of the few benefits of being a PoGo player in a smaller city…there are a ton of non-contested showcases that give you free wins lol I got my Pikachu during the Rowlet showcase a few months ago.

I used pokegenie for celesteela and kartana. I love pokegenie but it took all day for me to get in the raid

If you want kartana with no raids you get it at rank 20 from battle league
I have been grinding for wimpod and cannot catch it. Since the event I think I’ve probably seen near like 600 and no shinies. Same with mantine somehow I cannot catch it. And I haven’t gotten cutiefly either

I thought they were just memeing when they made the Community Day next Saturday - 4/20 - Pokemon # 69 (Bellsprout) and even went so far as to give it Magical Leaf for a fast move as Victreebel. But then it fell into the "3x dust" Community Day rotation and crap, I have to grind it now.

kartana is double weak to fire, so the best mega to use is primal groudon in the last place of the team because he boost the fire type in fight and also boost XL for grass when catching

I'd love to see how far you can get in a month with a new account and how many Shiny Pokemon you can catch. Without spending any money, of course.
Would love to see a real Lets Play of it and see how far you get and how you go about it, and maybe pick up tips and tricks from you.
I got the shiny wimpod in the wild and it was a 3* XXS
I have an idea and I cant be the only one who thinks its good. Imagine if niantic added something like a pokecenter or something like that, but it would be like a little shop where you can sell your items for pokecoins, and different items would have different value. Lets say 100 pokeballs is 10 coins. This would support their core values of wanting people to go out and explore since it would encourage players to spin many more stops.

Remember u can enter 3 showcases so having extras is fine
Another tip for showcase: Always keep your lightest and heaviest pokemon!! I dont know the computation for points system. But i sometimes win showcases with XL lightest/heaviest pokemon.

We need access to size details - ie how many points it would have in a showcase - so we can save the best xxs and xxl ones.

Xxl and xxs is calculated from both weight and height, so it’s quite difficult to know exactly which Pokémon is actually the biggest..
but if you’ve got one in a showcase you can click switch Pokémon to see which have the most points, then label and delete accordingly.
It weighs heavily on the height first I’ve already compared and contrasted this with a Pokémon that was EXACTLY the same height and different weights and also the adverse and it turned out that the height is the main point
Unless of course the height is exactly the same and the weight is astronomically different then of course weight would apply idk if that makes sense hopefully it does

I have won 88 showcases! My way to win is you find some in your town that are hard to get to or in a none busy area and keep going back to that spot to put your pokemon in
Don’t transfer any XXS or XXL. Then you can put multiple in different stops and switch out whenever you want.
I’ve managed to win two in the #1 slots because I swapped last minute.

Winning a showcase also gives you 10K xp, some neat items like incubators or lures among other things. Important if you are after that xp for levelling up!

I encountered 500 wailmer total during the event, I didn’t get a single shiny. About the same for wimpod.
I encountered a hundo kartana and lost it after 15 golden raz poke balls
You should keep your top/bottom 3 XXL/XXS mons because you can enter 3 showcases at a time. Got my PhD Pikachu pretty easily that way 🤓

Hey I just started Pokemon Go and I got shiny Kartana, shiny scyther. But today I also got a shiny shadow entie 2 stars and I don't know what is Hundo or a shundo someone please care to explain all this to me and also I think this shiny shadow entie is rare, so should I purify him
Don’t purify it it is much stronger as a shadow and a Hundo is when the Pokemon has perfect I’ve and the bars all go pink and Shundo is shiny Hundo also check if you have any Pokemon were the if bar is empty that is also super rare

My prediction: Trainer Level 60 is not coming to Pokemon Go this year.
Level 51 will come at the start of next season. If Niantic cannot release all steps for the "World of Wonders" tasks without time hating them, they aren't dropping all 10 levels to 60 at one time either
What I'm not sure on is if Pokemon levels go to 60 right away, and what that does to competitive PvP. The XL candy costs would be insane and getting past level 47 is now infinity more difficult, etc. Keep them capped at 50?
Or does rare XL candy start to rain down?
