Always that extra touch. Haven’t seen this detail anywhere else. A little fast but thats what the pause button is all about. I couldn’t imagine how you got the different home screens…so clever. Do you just play around to figure this out or do you have a instructional source? Thanks for sharing. I have customized my screen and icons already and don’t really have a need for focus mode but I love learning new things.

I watched this video a few times and was able to solve the issue of sharing my iPad with my mother in law! She has her page I leave it on now for her to watch her shows and FaceTime without bopping all over the place and frustrating herself (and me!).

This was a joy! My iPad is so better organized. Having a blast with the focus modes. Working on Procreate and trying to do the layers of color you did. For some reason I recolonization the whole page vs. a section. Will look to see if you have a video walking through that more. I did however find another of your videos and getting the hang of using brushstrokes and liquify. That’s fun! Great video and look forward to watching and learning more.
Yay!! So happy to hear 😄 For the recoloring - try and adjust your Color drop threshold by moving the slider left or right with your Apple Pencil when you drop the color in 🤗

Ok, wow. I guess I haven't been exploring the new version of the OS much with my iPad. To be honest, it has pretty much been my solitaire machine. Also bedtime stories and meditation with Calm app. Other than that I haven't been using the iPad a lot. You have some great ideas here. I would have never thought of creating desktops for each focus area and tying them to the focus feature. I am going to try some of these ideas. I think I have the widget app. I'll have to see if Shortcuts comes with the OS or if that is a separate ap.

Olivia! So nice to hear from you 😄 Yes Shortcuts is an app you’ll need to download. I guess Apple didn’t include it in the OS because it would make the download even bigger 😅 Enjoy customising your iPad!
@@iPadLettering Shortcuts came automatically on my devices, probably with an iOS update. I know I didn't download it. (I haven't figured out how to use it, either, so thank you for the tutorial! I'm going to have to rewatch the video at .75 speed, though. I couldn't keep up. :) )

I am new to procreate. I have downloaded so many fonts, Brushes, svgs and photos... and now I cannit figure out how organize them or even find the stuff I downloaded. So frustrated that most of the time I shut it off!!! Your video made looking for images and files so simple...
Please please do a video on how to set up your files and downloads on IPAD and also when you download stuff to procreate... get them where they need to go! So many people have trouble with this!!

Amazing tutorial, thank you. I'm quite new to all this so it has taken me a while to find all the things, but am almost done. I did notice however that it has also added the shortcuts to the front of my iPhone, is there someway of removing this without losing it on the iPad.

Thank you! To allow more screens you’ll have to go back to your focus mode for Relaxation and then select the screens you’d like to see from there 😄🤗
As always... you make beautiful art! I decided to just get your pretty wallpapers. However, after several tries I can't seem to figure out how to make the four original widgets that you started with to set your colours... Any hints on how to do it? The wallpaper is pretty.
Thanks Karin! I had so much fun making Focus modes this afternoon. I’d like to have Dark screen turn on when my Bedtime focus is turned on but it won’t turn off when I turn the Focus off or select another Focus. I have to change it back to Light in Settings. Anyone have a clue how to correct this?
As I was setting up the Pictures/Wallpapers in Shortcuts, the assigned Wallpaper wasn’t activating. I’ve come across something like this before on my iPad (2021 11” iPad Pro). My fix is to close all open apps then reopen what I need the actions update automatically. Just in case anyone out there strikes this 😀

Ahh yes - the appearance change only gets triggered when you change focus mode via shortcut. If you change your focus mode manually it won’t work. I recommend you set up another shortcut to toggle light and dark appearance and put it on the screen where you need it. So you can just tap it and it’ll switch without needing to go to Settings 😄

LOVE it! Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. 💖 I'm having an issue with it taking several seconds to jump to other home screens after the icon on the shortcuts is tapped. Any ideas?
Yes I have that sometimes as well, but not always. Changing the wallpaper seems to be a bit slow for me too. But changing focus mode is pretty much instant. Which iPad do you have? I wonder if that makes a difference 🤔

Hai Karin, I've costumized my ipad and I love it. I do have a question, If I change the focus screen, there is a long delay with the wallpaper. You don't have that in your turtorial. What could be the problem?
Ahhh - I have that problem too sometimes and I have no idea why 😭 I’ll let you know if I find out what the problem is!

When I’m putting the apps in a page all pages still have the same apps. It doesn’t look like the video that each page have it own apps. I want each to have their own apps without “sharing” the apps. How can I do that?

Maybe some functions or details have changed with the newest ipad Air, I was following along great but the wallpaper change doesn't really work, it instead changes the wallpaper permanently instead of just during the respective focus modes... it's driving me nuts! Any tweak suggestions?

Make sure the iPad is in wiggle mode before you swipe to the new screen 😄
How do you make a shortcut take u to a Home Screen?
You don’t need a shortcut! You can swipe up from the bottom of your screen and it’ll take you to the Home Screen 😄

I can't get the colors to only fill the bottom section. Whenever I drag a new color it just colors the entire page. What am I doing wrong?.
Make sure that there is no gap anywhere in the line. If it still fills the whole page, drag your Apple Pencil to the left before lifting it off the screen to adjust the fill threshold 😄
I don’t have procreate on my ipad or my iphone cause it cost $5.99

@@mysticoloddish8709 hold your finger on the screen until the icons wiggle. Then click the + sign in the top left corner. That will takevyoubto a screen that lists all your apps. Scroll down till you see the shortcuts app. Click it and you'll see a square shaped shortcut . Swipe left and you'll find the 4 block shortcut that she uses. Hope this helps 👌
