No way. I used to repair laptops as a business, and so many elements of this restoration were not possible. For one, start up after tear down would not boot up without going into the BIOS at least to set some values. BOGUS

As my experiences, to restore the electronic PCB such as in Laptop with time lapse conditions is super difficult task since lot of corrosion on circuits and many times getting not possible. So, This video is probably fake

Just HAD to watch this for it's so stupid. I just love this guys "fixing" all this waste. Best of all is the "testing" of the electronics by just randomly connecting some electronic parts of the PCB with a multimeter. But anyhow. i repair this kind of pc but here it's impossible you must change all parts and it's not " restoration ".
indeed, however, i actually own one of these computers, specifically an Aspire One ZG5 from 2008, it can handle just about anything you throw at it for such an old computer, the newest Windows it supports is 7 and it can handle just about any version of 32bit Linux you throw at it

First he finds all the pieces separately in the same place, which would be impossible, then he uses multitest as if he were an amateur, he has no idea what he is doing there. then turn on the notebook, and already have windows 7 with teamviewver skype and everything, kkkk hilarious.

I guess he filmed the ending part first and then from the starting part was filmed before disassembling the entire netbook and covering them with mud. In the video, it may look like they are restoring it, but actually they are destroying it.

Still have my Acer Aspire One 8.9" AOA150 running 24/7 as server since 2008. They are sturdy netbooks, but funny thing is this one featured is the blue version with bright orange hinges which got painted black before being 'found' on the trash heap.

Who would throw this great classic anyway?
It has a soldered CPU, RAM and Windows Vista, a trifecta of suck. It may have more use as a retro system if Windows XP was installed on it, but otherwise has very limited usefulness since it can't be upgraded.
I had one of these, 512MB was soldered to the board, and 512 was in a slot, so I think the max ram would be 1.5GB of ram (I highly doubt that this could support 2.5GB if ram), I also put in a 32GB SSD, over the 160GB spinning rust hard disk, and windows 10 (just to see how it would run). It ran ok, (better with the 1.5GB of ram), however it was kinda slow, cause in 08' (I think) when this came out, it was Was running XP home. So 7 would have been a better option. Also the trackpad sucked, with the left/right clicks on the side, thank goodness that it didn't catch on.
