Very informative- thank you for this!
We are happy to to hear you enjoyed the video, Dana!
I've had two strokes in the last 7 years, I'm having my pfo closed later on today, so, obviously doing my research before just before go in.
We're wishing you all the best!
This is good and informative video I will most likely have a choice to do this surgery soon since I had a blood clot in my eye at the age of only 27 and the only thing they found so far is PFO that most likely caused it, sounds good that its a lifetime proceedure I been worrying its something that have to be moved or replaced..
I lived in So Mission Beach, graduated from SDSU now in homestate CT hearing I have a "hole in my heart." Start of journey but I still inline skate as in ol days on the boardwalk. I hope this procedure is done nationwide but Scripps would be fun I guess.
We're here if you need us!
I had a cryptogenic stroke 2 months ago at the age of 41. I had PFO and they also found potential antiphospholipid syndrome. I'm following up on this in about a month. I performed the closure, and possibly be on blood thinners for life unfortunately. They said it might be connected to another autoimmune disease, psoriatic arthritis.
Have you spoken with your physician about this? They will be the best person to assist you!
yeah very well glad to know theres a way to close the hole
We're glad you found the video to be helpful!
My son is 24 and found out he has a hold in his heart size of a penny I'm so afraid for him
We're keeping you both in our thoughts!
