Yo! That's me at 14:11 Sorry! I didn't mean it directly to you! I meant it overall for all Vic2 and now Vic3 players who just keep repeating the same with the Sikh Empire and form India. Not that it's a bad thing. I just, as a Sikh, find it funny since it isn't all that accurate for the time period. One could've asked any Sikh, let alone Panjabi, if they would consider themselves "Indian" from 1799-1849 and they would've looked at you sideways. Sikhs consider themselves a nation; the Sarbat Khalsa (lit. Sikh Nation), and draw a healthy influence from both the Indian subcontinent and Middle East. Sikhs also view Panjab as a country equivalent to the likes of India and Pakistan as a national identity, which most Indians despise (the phrase "Desh Panjab", meaning Panjabi Nation is common in Sikh circles). In fact, Sikhs to this day are still not signatories of the Indian Constitution. 2 Sikh MLAs on 26 Nov. 1949 refused to sign the Indian Constitution on behalf of all Sikhs on the basis that Jawaharlal Nehru and Mohandas Gandhi (NOT Mahatma) failed to live up to their promises of guaranteed Sikh autonomy in Panjab.
