Personally, I think all contenders would be way more desirable if they were all in this format. Having only 4-6 packs that have the autos, #d, and inserts, instead of 10± packs of nothing but base.

Why does contenders pay so much more attention to basketball then they do football Yes you get 5 autos in football But 4 of them are from someone. You've never heard of and you might get one offensive Lyman or defensive player.but the look of these contenders is so much better and you don't get all the wasted base cards.
