Yes 300blk is amazing suppressed but in my opinion 300blk shines because of its performance out of a short barrel whether that be subs or supers.
Yes!!!! subs su@k!
Agree, but due to cost of ammo I think an AK-based sbr is even better. There's probably still more 7.62x39 than .300bo in this country too.
@@iiscd5970at this day and age 7.62x39 is nearly priced the same as supersonic 300 blk.
@iiscd5970 I'm not in the ak platform but I hear that 7.62x39 ammo is increasing in price, idk if that's true. But 300blk has been dropping in price over time
@@iiscd5970sort of, 7.62 is pushing 50 cents per round. There are supers for 65 cents per round. Plus 300 black outs out of a short barrel are super fun and awesome to shoot.
That was the smoothest lawnmower dismount i've ever witnessed
Wow! I have a 8.5” PSA 300 Blk , Silencer Central Banish 30 a SRC BCG and Law folder with zero issues.
Same here - I was watching the video and thinking I must be one of the lucky ones, as I have 3 ARs built on complete PSA uppers (8.5" 300BLK, 10.5" 5.56, and an 18" 223 Wylde), and have had a total of 1 malfunction (light strike with the 300BLK) out of maybe 2,200 rounds. The 300BLK has gone through ~250 rounds of both subs and supers, with the last 70 of the sub rounds running through a YHM Phantom .30 suppressor, and has had zero issues with cycling any of them.
@@earl240sx yeah I am right there with you man, this video IMO is a wash for the fact that they went and bought the worst upper possible with out "thinking" about the issues that would come with it, rather that spending like $40-60 more for the 8" with a rail. At this point I might make a response video to this showing all the different rounds a PSA will run out of an OMEGA 36M, with different springs, buffer tubes but that would be spendy :/. now that I think about it lol.
And BCM even has a disclaimer on their website about subsonic ammo reliability.
@@HidinRebelnope PSA just has terrible QC
@@HidinRebel His problems are possibly self-induced, we don't know how well it would have run had he not taken the handguard off and messed up the gas right off the bat. I'd be interested to see it redone with the PSA unmodified. Lesson here is shoot your guns before you go monkeying with them.
I shoot a lot of 308 and 300blk. Guys, if youre going to shoot 30cal, get a basic reloading set up, you will save thousands over a few years if you shoot consistently.
Facts. Started shooting 300 blk when it came out and it forced me to learn reloading. Now I enjoy reloading.
Very true I reload Hornady 110gr VMAX for like 40 cents a round and the tear crap up like I've taken 10 deer with leaves a big v and blows back to pieces
you don't reload to save money, you reload to go to the range more often
Very true I like to go when I can
yeah if you can ever find primers. It has been super annoying to be a reloader these last 3 years.
If you’re looking to save on training ammo, I found my 9mm PCC worked really well as a 300 blk trainer. The ballistics and recoil impulse are really similar to subs at 1/4 the cost.
Akv all the way 🙏
I’ve been shooting 300BLK for over a decade. I have the original “OG” rifle built by Advance Armament Corp (AAC). It’s a 9” that I run suppressed. This rifle is amazing. It’s 100% reliable with both super and suppressed. It’s a tank with a Knights Armament rail.
Lol Advance Armament is owned by PSA
@@alexseglem7301 that's Advanced Armament COMPANY you are thinking of that PSA owns (an ammo company with a similar sounding name, possibly on purpose). Advanced Armament CORPORATION is a company that helped pioneer 300BO and makes suppressors etc and has been around since 1994.
Google search: "300 AAC Blackout Low Visibility Carbine" and you'll see an archived slide deck from them pitching the concept to the DoD.
@@alexseglem7301Wrong AAC. 😂
@@Alex-sl7xhthanks. Beat me to it.
10 years ago, AAC wasn't PSA. AAC was founded by Kevin Brittingham. He's the father of .300blk and 8.6blk. He sold the company around 15 years ago and they kinda languished until PSA got ahold of them.
PSA is great, but they're no Q.
Built my lower from PSA and bought the fully assembled 300 blackout upper and it runs well.
Should have called SDI they would have told you to check your gas port size and gas block and saved you some time and money. 😂
I was just thinking, damn, these guys should take their own advice and take a few SDI courses themselves. :)
spot on.
no kidding. "I'm an advanced gun builder" Puts the gas block on and never borescopes for alignment. Gets repeated bolt over brass which is a common sign of being undergassed and puts a stiffer spring in instead of a reduced power spring. Never mentions drilling out the gas port which is an easy fix and if you're wrong could be easily corrected with an adjustable gas block
STOP busting on these guys! They are advanced gun builders! You know the kind that dremel a handguard in half.?!?! FFS PSA HAS A LIFETIME WARRANTY! Their mlok handguards are fine too. They are just PSA haters.
SDI is not what yall think it is. I am currently enrolled and making my way through the nonsense
Easy fix for that psa. Find what size drill bit fits that gas port, go up in size 1/16th, and drill it. Viola mo gas
Imagine spending 1000s of dollars on kit just to get clipped by a guy with a PSA on a minibike
Underrated comment
Damn lmao
Everyone’s a badass in a gunfight
😂😂😂😂😂😂
could be worse and more insulting....
Could get clapped by a _hipoint_ 💀🤣
The way to overcome the weight of the extension on the LAW folder is to swap out the steel buffer weights for aluminum ones from KAK. A Sprinco reduced power spring compensates quite a bit for lower gas pressure. A KNS offset buffer pin helps keep the system in proper contact.
Just in case anyone wanted to know how to tune that correctly...
You too can absolutely run a folder with subs.
Remember it's a low pressure system designed to run with a carbine weight buffer system...
The issues weren't with the upper. They were with the "builder".
PS- Learned this by having to set up a BCM.
I’ve been shooting 300BO since 2019, I have a suppressor for it, but my primary reason for getting into the caliber was to shoot supers thru a shorter ( 9” BCM ) barrel. I shoot 125’s only. Was shooting the Prvi load until AAC came out with a 125 load. I know that I’m a bit of an outsider when it comes to not shooting subs, but I think the supers are over looked by a lot of people.
How’s that BCM 9” treating you ?? Been thinking about grabbing one.
I started out with the S&B 125 gr SST’s but can’t find them for a good price, so moved to AAC (with a couple stops in between)
My dad got me a rattler for my birthday a few months ago. Have never shot it sub.still It’s by far my favorite to shoot. Will have a jakl next month
When I do a "cheapo" build, I like to buy every component separately and install them myself....if you have good parts (in-spec) and you assemble them CORRECTLY it will run just fine. Anderson, Aero, PSA, BCA, Diamondback, etc. all make parts that are 99% good to go ...it's usually their factory assembly that fails. (Loose gas blocks, incorrectly torqued castle nuts, etc.)
Yup. Build yourself and 99% of the time something doesn't work it was your fault lol
I tend to diy my more expensive builds, to get precisely what I'm wanting. That said, anytime I buy something pre-built I ALWAYS do a complete tear down and make sure everything is torqued to spec, staked properly, and locktite goes where it's needed. I've had zero problems with any of my builds because of it.
My 16" psa build was just rebuilt with all Geissele parts from barrel to buffer system on the upper and all Geissele hardward and SSA E on the lower. It was very well worth it!
I think it was the "smooth moves" around, and "downed tangoes" off of the mower that made that spec ops Blackhawk "re-think" whatever they were planning... Good job!
😁👍
Man, I can’t believe that PSA was such a PITA for you.
I ordered an 8” upper from PSA, slapped a flash hider I ordered online to fit my .308 can, and the thing ran like a racehorse.
Thing ran so good I ended up building a dedicated Anderson lower for it.
It’s the true cost of buying a psa. You can get a nice rifle but you can also get a bad rifle. Pretty rare someone gets a bad geissele.
PSA known for shoddy QC, best to check gas port alignment and torque + loctite screws as needed before they fall off. That might be asking for too much from PSA owners though.
I don’t take a Maserati off roading expecting high clearance performance, just like I don’t take a 1990 F150 to the race track expecting record setting speeds.
@@Matthew-zb3iw they just come pre assembled so no parts get lost in shipping )))))
PSA is incredibly spotty on their QC. I wouldn't trust any of their uppers without dissembling and double checking everything. I've had an upper from them also in .300blk but with a 8.5" barrel. They didn't even dimple the barrel for the gas block. Nor did they properly tighten the set screw down. The gas ring on the bolt was also super weak right out of the box. People give Aero Precision grief but they are miles a head of PSA. Still would need to double check their shit as well but it's always a good habit to do even on high end uppers.
Love the mower , Death From The Garage !
Make an awesome morale patch .
After spending 4 years becoming a lawncare expert, I fking died at the mower segment. 😂
Shades of Caddyshack .
Longer barrels can have more standard deviation. Also changing the gunpowder can affect it. I handload my own ammo and weigh it to the .1 grain. So your “expensive” ammo might just suck. Subsonic 300blk is very cheap to reload. Especially if you cast bullets like I do.
I have heard that with ar due to the its gas system that lead will foul up the gas tube pretty bad. I haven't had any troubles with my ak or m1 shooting lead. But I can easily pick the lead out of the gas port.
@@charlesadams7862subsonic and gas checks. Also if you coat them the problem goes away.
That or get a Dillion electric trimmer and make your own brass as well it's in a reloaders favor
@@alexstilwell3302the dillon trimmer has zero to do with casting bullets or the cost of the cartridge depending on hoe much brass you need. That said, I got my dillon rt1500 last week and started converting some brass and wish I had bought it way sooner.
My cheap powder costed subsonic losds are 32 cents each and my fmj 220 grain subs cost me 52 cents each.
(My 220gr SMKs are probably around 70 cents each, but I only load those for my bolt action, but didn’t calculate the cost for it because my round count is too low to matter. As for accuracy, the FMJs are just fine for my AR)
Came here to say the same. Shorter barrel = smaller SD
I have built 3 kinda low priced 300BO .16 inch, 8.5 in and 10.5 in. I love mine, they run well when you get them gassed right. I use my 16 in for night hunts with my IRAY RL42 and Dead Air Sandy S. My truck gun is the 10.5 with the law folder and my nighttime castle gun is the 8.5 with a OCL Hydrogen S tucked under the AREO handguard. I shoot the Barnes PM220gn otms alot. Honestly everything i run in my 300s sub and super run just as good as any of my other ARs. Love your guys stuff. Keep it up.
I built my first 300 blackout about 9 to 10 years ago. I had a radical firearms upper and an anderson lower with milspec parts kit. It ran very well while i had it and the only issue i had was in the first 5 rounds i had a failure to go into battery. I hit the foreward assist and kept going never had the issue again. I laster sold it to a buddy of mine and hes had it the rest of the time and has had no issues with it. I built the same setup for his father who was a retired swat member and its his favorite rifle to this day. In total i think it was 650 dollars in the first year and a half of 300 blackouts being a thing and they are both still going strong. With 18 years of combined use between the two.
I purchased a 300BO upper from BCA and put it on a PSA lower w/ huxs flow thru it runs amazingly. Even with a franklin trigger. Subs/Supa doesn't matter. Runs great. All my toys are my favorites but i tend to grab my 300 when i feel like showing off the most😂
I have a PSA .300blk. It runs suppressed with an H2 Buffer and Springco spring. It pushes subs and supers.
PSA QC is a question mark. So is the fact that you guys immediately took the gas block off.
A good control would've been you guys removing the gas block on all 3 to see if you're as good at messing with the gas system as other components.
What Sprinco spring did you go with the white standard carbine?
I had a PSA 8.5 inch blackout like 3 years ago and it ran everything you put in it supers and subs and hand loads easily slapped c zone 300 yard steel with supers. Not a single malfunction ever. I just finally realized 300 blackout was essentially useless in my inventory and way expensive for what I need. So you just picked some random weird PSA upper that was a novelty item. Their longer 300s run.
Love my 8” Aero 300 BO. Running it with a Lahar 30 and it runs flawless
It’s one of the greatest feelings when you can finally play with the other guys. ❤🎉😂
PSA has 7.5" and 8.5" 300 BLK uppers that run subs fine and are set up to receive a suppressor. If you read the reviews on those uppers, there are people stating they run both subs and supers fine (7.5" may need a little tweaking, but nothing like the 7". 8.5" are g2g). Why he chose the 7" over these other two lengths seems weird. If he had added 0.5" of barrel dwell time, he likely would not have had these issues with the PSA upper.
DI gas systems are very finnicky once you get below 7.5" in 300 BLK, but it can be done. Eitri's Enhancements here on YT got a 6" Faxon barrel with a LAW folder to run subs (though he may have had an adjustable gas bcg)
Bought an 8.5” Noveske barreled upper used for 400 and it has been flawless both suppressed and unsuppressed. Also worked with a law tactical folder with a geissele h2 and h3 buffer.
Top tier quality right there.. i ❤my noveskes
Well noveske and geissele are both outstanding manufacturers so that makes sense lol
I put a 8" Primary Arms Upper on an Old Bushmaster Lower I had, put a Trybe trigger in it and it's the PERFECT Truck Gun!
Great concept for a video, very likely what many are considering.
I bought a Diamond Back .300 BlackOut a couple months ago specifically for hunting. 18” barrel. I shot the t today for the first time to sight in my optics. Love this gun. I hope it will hold up. Love the video guys!
I built my own 7.5 300 blk using a PSA upper, milled my own lower. Put a folding stock on it. I used Stryker 147gr ammo and got 1671fps ave. A SD of 40. I started loading my own ammo, 147 gr. and got 1600 FPS, a SD of 10FPS. I acheived a 2" MOA at 400' with a red dot. Loading my own ammo costs me 23cents a round. The build came at $800.
I had the same problems with psa. I just drilled a bigger gas hole in the barrel and put a adjustable gasblock
Exactly. I can’t believe no one is mentioning this. Or just drill it and put the same gas block on and only run subs.
Precisely. Easy fix.
Slapping some parts together on a ar15 does not make you a gunsmith. 🤣😂🤣 yes I'm old. I predate drop in triggers!!!🤣
Synthwave and gun running are a perfect match 🤌🤌🤌
Planning a truck build with a 8.5 300blk upper from PSA. Never tried their product but really appreciate this trial from your team! It saved me some heartache down range!
Ive had a complete 8.5 PSA upper in the safe for a few years and finally went with a PSA pistol lower. It came with a SB Tactical slide out stock for $329. Put on and Ambi Aero Charging Handle and an Ambi Safety just because and that thing eats everything i throw at it. Subs or Supers, and is alot of fun to shoot suppressed. Tons of fun for around $800! And its been %100 reliable.
I built a Ghetto Badger using a Faxon 7.5 1:5 barrel as the heart of the build. I bought a Psa HBPDW lower, it’s pretty amazing.
Did yours seem under gassed too?
Another benefit of reloading 300blk subs is that you can load them to faster velocities for your short barrel while still being subsonic. They may no longer be subsonic out of a longer barrel though.
Manufacturers presumably load subs to be subsonic out of barrels all the way up to 16“, so they‘re way slower than necessary out of the shorties.
Built my own 300 black out I would call it just below mid tier on the upper but the lower I used was an Anderson. 8 in ba barrel, bootleg adjustable bcg, and dead air sandman S. Works fantastic probably 600 rounds and no issues.
The lawnmower shots...hysterical !
Hahahahaha HD2 shout out AND a GBRS mount in one video?!
You boys are absolute mad lads. Love it
The PSA JAKL 300 BLK with 8.5” barrel (AK style short stroke upper married to an AR lower) has run flawlessly for me. Even though it’s a $1000 pistol, it’s still $500 less than the Zev with no build required.
Good show guys!
Charles
I have a ZEV 300 blkout set up but with a Noveske barrel and headspaced bolt. My second 300 blkout is a CMMG Dissent with a ZEV lower receiver and a JMAC folding arm brace. Both are great shooter's.
I bought a Diamondback Upper in 300 BO for my Daughter to shoot because she likes how quiet they are Suppressed. It has a 10.5 inch Barrel and has made it through 8,000 rounds of Super & Subsonic Ammo with only a broken Bolt Lug at 7,002 rounds. I belt that is good considering how violent the acton is in a Suppressed, SBR. We also had a couple Mag issues but that is it.
The complete Upper was $450 I have added a SpringCo Recoil Spring and SpringCo Extractor and Ejector Springs but I do that to all my AR's. We also reload our own Ammo so that helps a ton and have a Shooting Range in the back yard.
They are some good and affordable AR's out here but I think if you're going with anything other than 556 its a better idea to get a BCM, SOLGW, Noveske, LMT and even Diamondback has there 300 BO running good. I hope PSA can get there Short 300's running good or that maybe the one was a fluke 🤷🏻♂️ I didn't have any PSA AR's but a couple of my friends hunt with 16 inch PSA's in 300 BO and naturally they run those Suppressed, and those seem to run very good.
Sorry for the rambling, hope you get that one running like it ought to .
I bought a PSA 7in 300 Black Out pistol back during covid and I love it. Haven't shot it suppress yet! She eats everything I shoot even steel case. Also have a Kak can on it to force everything out front. Definitely small enough to not need a folder 😁
Instead of putting a bunch of shitty parts on the psa, why not drill out the gas port like a normal person? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
You shouldnt have to drill out a gas port. Talk about cope.
@@jski718 I had a Wilson combat barrel chambered in 6.8 spc that wouldn't function until I drilled out the gas port.
I have a 17 Design Integrated Folding Lower Receiver with a PSA 7.5" upper package and a CGS Hyperion (SBRed stamp); had to fiddle with the gas port size and buffer weight/spring combo, but now that its dialed in, its like butter.
Honestly, the PSA upper test was lame at best. They have many better uppers than the lowest of the low that you got, and modifying it yourself already taints the test. Many, many of your viewers have a 300 BO upper that runs flawlessly, and find this video to really not be worth the time. You guys put out GREAT content, but this was not one of the good ones.
See my comment above, $600 and 1000+ rounds no jams, cleaned a few times, flawless with BCA upper and pistol lower, not suprsessed.
How does modifying it taint the test? The upper came improperly assembled. It needed taken apart to run well. You must have missed that.
@@KimballPrecisionRiflesThey should have started off with a better upper. Their choice was pretty lame, especially if they knew they were going to test it suppressed. PSA has a plethora of 300 blk uppers on a “Budget” that could have fulfilled the test w no modifications needed.
Builders of CZcams feel you brother. Imagine how good our guns will be in 5 years tho dude. Keep tuning and optimizing…and voting. Make Ammo Great Again
You guys are killing it
1. Drew with the lawnmower combo was a vibe. 2. "Bag gun" but the only one that wasn't immediately screaming "hey I'm carrying a rifle with me" was Nick. And 3. Tbh I'm more on the 9mm pdw/sub gun side of the aisle, the build I've been conjuring up and mauling over since I've gotten my ruger 22 charger is a charger in 9mm with a folding brace, optic, Franklin binary trigger, surefire g2 flashlight, and rex mg7 suppressor. A couple different reasons, 1. It's a true bag gun, it tucks away into a laptop messenger bag with room to spare for the G33 rd fun sticks, 2. 9mm is cheaper to run than 300blk, the charger is $600 and I have much more confidence in that functioning straight out of the box then a cheap upper, 3. Cause it's danm fun to mag dump and not feel bad for the $30 of loud noise you just made. Yeaa yea "but 300blk has better ballistics" simple question are you training to bill drill into the upper body where someone may be running armor cause news flash unless their running a helmet and groin protector a round out of either platform to the T box/ guts/hips or groin will do the job. Another option is an hk mp5 but those are unnecessarily expensive to accessorize and idk of a fun brrr trigger for that option without the propper paperwork and govt extortion fee.
You could probably remedy the PSA issues with the right sized gas hole in the barrel. However, the janky set screw dimple that clocks your gas block off is where you saved all that money 🤷♂️
I'm paying 70 cents for 220 grain subs
Reloading? Or buying retail?
You can get stelth ammo for around that cost

We will be looking into creating the best priced 300blk upper available.
nothing a drill bit and a adjustable block cant fix
Springco Yellow Spring. Also you can get a aluminum Law Tactical Folder BCG extension, to reduce BCG weight. I run just the Yellow Springco spring and a Bootleg BCG wide open.
To ask why a caliber is sold with cheap options is take for granted why you can find and afford 300blk on the shelf.
You guys make awesome, authentic content. Sub earned, keep it up! 🤙
Idk how zero turns keep making their way into the shooting world but I do love it
The mower threat elimination was dope 😂
I spent over 5 years buying my 300 BLK setup. I was broke and in college. When I was done I had my suppressor, I had not expensive but quality components, Dillon reloading setup. I was ready to go.
Who the fuck says there’s no difference in 300blk and 556 lol
Great video!
After doing some research, I found that the Sig Rattler checked most of the boxes for what I was looking for in a "bag gun" (for me). The size with the folding stock/brace allowed it to fit in most "day" sized bags. The 300BO caliber is suited for short barrels while still providing decent ballistics. Suppresses well. Adjustable gas block. Subs for short and quiet work. Supers for longer range stuff. I like the AAC 110gr V-max for supers. As far as subs, I usually buy whatever is cheapest. Reloading helps, but it is time consuming and a pain in the ass.
During the colder months of the year, I run the Rattler on the "+" gas setting. I was getting some short stroking with subs on the "-" setting.
I recommend using 300BO specific mags, especially with subs. Some of the 300BO specific heavy bullets have a more "mag friendly" profile now and may not cause issues.
I built a PSA budget one with my dad and I have the the mcx too.
My opinion - Just get the PSA upper and build it. More fun. And I had a standard buffer set up and it cycles 120gr-220gr and even cycles S&P ammo.
You could make the argument that a .300 designed to run supers without a can is a niche that has value for a lot of folks. More muzzle energy, less blasty than a shorty 5.56, super ammo doesn't cost much more than name-brand 5.56, no wait times for a can that costs 2x-4x the upper, and obviously there's no tax stamps if braced. Think of it as a modern 30-30 in the roles it can fill, only shorter and box-fed.
Also, PSA makes other low-cost .300 uppers with conventional aluminum rails that are better suited for using with a can, for about $50 more, give or take whatever sale is going on.
I just bought an PSA 8.5" complete upper as part of my first AR build and I'll be honest, I was not hopeful regarding it's performance based on reviews of videos like this one. I am still waiting on my suppressor, so decided to screw around and picked up a box of Stealth 220 grain, Rifle Line 125 grain, and something just a little lighter by Hornandy with a red tip in a bag from a pawn shop - in that order I paid $20, $16 and $15 per box. To ensure I had the hardest time possible I loaded all three rounds - one of each in that same order - into the 20 round 300BLK PMAG magazine I purchased lo locally from the FFL. Not to shit on your guys' parade or anything, but I slowly dumped the entire clip without a single issue. I noticed that each different round consistently ejected in the same direction ranging from 3:00 to 4:00 to 5:00 in the order given above. I also noticed that it locked open for the last round of every magazine I have put through it.
What did I do differently than the video? I bought the PMAG magazine made specifically to work with the subsonic rounds and Iubed EVERYTHING (including the piston and magazine), with LUCAS gun oil. Now... I am a complete noob but I have paid enough attention to know that subs are reported to have problems with the standard mags and new shit is ALWAYS supposed to be completely and freshly oiled before you put rounds through it. Neither of these points was addressed in this video, so I can't tell if I just happened to pick up the holy grail of a PSA upper for less that you did (Easter sale) or if you guys just got schooled by a noob. What I do know is this noob paid all of $450 for an 8.5" PSA AR pistol that - right out of the box - will shoot ANYTHING you put through it EVERY TIME... UNsuppressed. I'll let you know what happens once I get my suppressor.
Didn't realize I needed lawnmower drills in my life, but now I gotta find a range!
I wasn't prepared for him to roll out the zero turn.
Bump in the night/ I can only buy one and ona budget!
The sugar weasel by Q with the trash panda. Super lightweight and has all the great stuff from the honey badger.
Pdw/ bag gun, sig rattler with the trash panda or Surefire titanium can in 300/7.62.
My first 300blk was a springfield saint, I purchased it, because the Daniel Defense was $600.00 more.. the first two magazines went with out a problem. After that it jammed two or three time per magazine. After a year i decided to go back to the 300 I wanted in the first place. With the trade in I paid almost $900.00 more. If you can’t afford a quality rifle, save up until you can.
For the psa Drill the gas port man, put a brass cleaning rod in your barrel, and get a #44 0.0860 drill bit. Assemble. If it doesn't work get a 3/32 .0938. You can always mitigate more Gas and getting lighter springs and buffers is not really a good route to go for reliability.
I built a complete 8" Ballistic Advantage premium barrel with a pinned gas block, vented MW industries rail for under $500. Only 400-500 rounds but Its been flawless running a standard buffer and spring.
Very informative thank you!
To everyone, it doesnt matter which brand you go with, it matters on the quality control of the company. And even gucci brands let shit go out the door time to time. If your stuff isnt in spec, expect it to not run like a gun in spec.
15:00 when camera man Nick shows off with the fastest drill time - pistol, transition to bag gun 300blk directly behind the engine block cover rather than SUV doors concealment 😮
gotta keep these boys on their toes! lol

I have a 250 dollar Bear Creek 300BLK 10.5 inch upper and an Anderson lower with CMMG internals and have no issues at all, and I just brought home my Dead Air Nomad so we will see once I start shooting that and I still need to put on a new adjustable gas block which is next wish me luck fellas Thank you for the video
If you choose to breakdown your gun 5.11 makes a panel with picatinny on it that lets you strap the upper and lower to it using Velcro straps and has a carry handle on it so you can easily remove it as one unit from a backpack. I have a 7 inch barrel on my AR-9 and it fits nicely in a standard sized backpack.
I’ve bought a PSA 300 blk upper and had the same issues. Dimple wasn’t straight, and cycling issues with my buddys can. I eventually went with a clamp style adjustable gas block and played with spring and buffer combos. I love it, but I’ll trust my M4E1 upper with BCM BCG and BA barrel
Yeah shoulda just gotten the 8in Barrel PSA 300 blackout with 7inch handguard. That thing rocks and is JUST perfect for the price!
The barrel length also affected the standard deviation.
my $200 7in 300bo PSA runs like a champ suppressed and unsuppressed. I have it on an Anderson lower with Anderson lower parts, carbine buffer and standard spring. I have close to 1000 rounds on it.
The MCX in 300blk is peak short rifle.
300blk is such a versatile round. It shouldn't be relegated to JUST shooting Subs or Supers. Both loads have use cases that shouldn't be overlooked.
I used Bravo Company weights and springs. Timney DH3 trigger. I changed the BCG and Gas Block. No issues
I always say 300BLK and 5.5.56x45mm NATO that both are best way to go is a $1,400-1800ish rifle price. But I would go Piston High End Rifle/Pistol with 300BLK a 5.5.56x45mm NATO. I love what you get out of a $1400 to $2000 rifle/pistol.
I did the PSA marauder with a Sylvan arms folder too and had the same problems with gassing. I fixed it with an extra light buffer spring.
My psa upper runs subs perfectly. I got the upper that trex did a cheap honey badger video on. Carbine buffer allows unsupressed or suppressed supers and subs to run fine. Locks back every time. Get 300blk specific mags too
The answer to the first question is yes a cheap gun is totally worth it i built mine for $600. And you can find subs for $0.75. Its one of my favorites now and i have gucci stuff like a scar and daniel defense and steyr aug etc.
you guys have become the best 2A youtube channel 🇺🇲
I built mine with a 7.5 inch barrel , and suppressed or not , supers or subs, it runs. No failures yet.
We really need to see 2 guys on that little dirt bike doing a drive by. 👉👈
Lucas? That you? 🤣
The similarities mate.
I love shooting subs for fun, but the real value in my 8" criterion home build is shooting supers 200 yards and in. My favorite gun !
I’m digging the background music, it’s like a @donutoperator video
I’m currently building a cheap PSA .300 build, using a Witt machine mod1 for a suppressor. At the same time, I’m getting into reloading with a standard single stage press. This is the work around for the expensive ammo.
I'm looking at the same thing!! Please, tell me how it goes
Did this. Love it. Home defense sub w can so you don’t blow your ears out clearing each deck. I reload also. Super fun.
Build it! Goid barrel, gas block, buffer/spring and bcg. It will run with all the other firearms you have here at half the price. You just have to know where to spend money.
Now you guys got me thinking about a 6mm ARC supressed bullpup.
Love my Cmmg Dissent in 300blk. It’s a 6.5in folder with a side charger. Sounds great with a Trash Panda suppressor too.
I love my aero precision x15 gen 2 build I put a ballistic advantage modern series barrel with good medium profile barrel and I not only train with it and use for home defense but have dropped like 10 deer with it, my VMAX 110 grain hand loads are spicy going like 2400 fps and leave a huge v in front of the deer heart and blow the whole back to heck.
