Place the Hypercoven at the front of your signal chain and cast droning, octave laden doom on all fuzz and distortion pedals that lie in its path.
This dirty analog octave-up effect is designed to drive your dirt chain, with the single-knob octave blend control giving you the ability to adjust the wet / dry mix of the effect. The added presence of the dirty upper octave works particularly well with downtuned guitar and bass.
Controls
Octave: controls the wet/dry mix of the dirty octave-up effect with your input signal. Run it at max into your favorite fuzz for modern doom metal style octave fuzz tones or back it down into a rodent-based distortion for a more subtle octave swell with increased sustain.
Power
Use only a standard 9v DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative-center barrel. An isolated power supply is recommended.

When i think of that term I usually think of the guys who’ve been around a long time and written countless incredible songs and riffs. Iommi, Pike, Wino, Windstein, etc.

Would this pedal work fine with my Digitech Drop in front of it? That's what I use to drop my tunings without actually tuning my guitar down.

Most people run it first in chain but I have seen others run it at the end of their dirt chain.

Sounds awesome. Are you posting a clip with it not running into fx into a clean amp while playing guitar? Could not get a sense of this tone from the bass demo into clean channel.
I can, but that's really not the intention of the effect. Really meant to be run into dirt. I posted the bass clip because I thought it sounded really cool.
Does It Doom? Ok. Figured that was the reason. Just curious what the net effect of the pedal is. Perhaps a clip of it running through a RAT with it on and off.

How about using the Hypercoven with a classic Fuzzface-style Fuzz where it wants to see the guitar PU directly? Or to rephrase my question: Hypercoven after the Fuzz any good?
The pedal works great at the end of your dirt chain / before modulation. Have a lot of people running it that way for sure. 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Hey man I know these are out of stock right now, but are these pedals something you are planing on keeping in production for a while?
As I badly want one to stack with my mxr brown acid, think it would sound sick, and work perfectly for the kinda tones I'm after.
But with the u.k being yet again in another lockdown and Mrs being of work, we are struggling for money, so gonna be a while before I can grab one, but don't wanna miss out on one, so really hoping this will able on and off for a long time.

Great pedal! I bought a doppel octave fuzz but I also like the distortion from my peavy and that’s where the hypercoven will come in if I can get my hands on one. Who makes these by the way?
